Kai at Build-A-Bear in Sunvalley Mall was amazing with my granddaughters! So patient, fun, and kind -- and I couldn't believe Kai had only been there a few days! Kai's coworker was also very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We had such a great experience! read more

Cute and efficient little kiosk. We came here and my daughter got to build her own teddy bear and dress it up. It was a nice experience. But we felt rushed because there was only one person helping multiple families. I personally grow up with the big store in DT WC and miss that ambiance. Being a kiosk it really takes away from the magic. I remember finding this to be an experience that I really loved, but this time it felt underwhelming and rushed. read more

The service is outstanding!! Granddaughter loved it! Birthday bears are a big hit with all of my grand daughters. Great deal as well.

I remember hearing about Build-A-Bear growing up, but never visited one, nor did I get anything from there. But it called my attention when I was at the Sunvalley Mall, and was thinking for a gift for my girlfriend. I was helped out by a young lady named Faith (I think), and she was very patient and nice. I decided to get the classic teddy bear, and I went with a princess theme. After the clothing stage, you can put a voice for your new friend. It can be up to 15 seconds and get a preview of how it sounds. You can retry as much times as you need. It's been a year and a half and Princess it still with us! After a year, I updated her, came back here and gave her a new fit and a new voice. I saw online you can buy a closet for your bear; I gotta get that, especially since Princess now has 2 fits. When you look for it, the Build-A-Bear is in the middle of the mall, in the first floor. Definitely check it out if you tryna get a gift for a loved one read more

We went here on my son's birthday and he picked out the count your age birthday bear. Pam was helping us and she was great! She was very kind and patient as he made his selections. She walked him through all the steps and his favorite part was stepping on the pedal to put the filling into his bear. He had such a good time and named his bear "birthday". Thank you Pam and build a bear for such a great experience! This was our first time coming and I'm so glad that we did. Keep in mind that this location is inside of the mall and is a kiosk and not an actual store. read more

Went to get a plushie because I needed to heal my inner child, haha! Got a super-soft frog with a strawberry scent, and my friend got a pastel cat with a cotton candy scent! The guy that helped my friend and I fluff up our bears was super nice and funny. I'll definitely be returning to buy some more friends for my new frog :) (his name is bob btw teehee) read more

Headed here for a birthday gift for one of our favorite people. She's turning 5, loves pink and animals, so we knew we could find the perfect gift here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at this location. Their selection is limited, but we expected that seeing that it is a kiosk and not a store. Walked away with Daisy Rainbow Sprinkles the Bear for the birthday girl. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

My kids had a good experience here. Just wish it was in a store instead of a kiosk. We had people bumping into us as they walked by. With my kids being little they don't get out of the way so it was a real big pain. But they sure loved to stuff their animals. read more

We just had the worse experience ever with build a bear. Ive been taking my grandchildren to build a bear for over 22 years. I took my 6 year old twins today. The lady that was helping us was very kind and let my grandchildren do all the fun stuff. After awhile another lady came (with an attitude) and got mad at me for being in her chair. She was waiting on nobody. She said get out, its my chair. Then just total attitude after that. She said put your mask over your nose (it was) then yanked bear out of my 6 yo grandsons hand and told us to leave. Your employee has issues. All i did was sit as i am old. read more

I wanted to leave a review on the Build-A-Bear website but couldn't figure out how. Shoutout to Charlie and Jen for being so kind and staying past closing a few minutes to help me. You guys rock! read more

First off - know that this is only a kiosk in the mall so if you're looking for the whole store go to stoneridge mall- with that said, this one was just enough for my 8 year old to check out- the salesperson briana was super nice to him and helped him walk through the process - not pushy at all - we had a $40 gift card and it was plenty to get a bear, scent, sound, a shirt and cupcake toy. read more

I had the most amazing experience with my son last week at this build a bear station! I was not able to catch the man's name that helped us but I am hoping he gets some credit because he made our experience so awesome. (I even went back to the mall today to try and get his name for this review, but there name tags are printed so small but if my eye sight is correct it started with a K). This man was not aware of this but my son actually has autism , and this was his very first build a bear, when we walked by my son instantly was attached to this blue 50th anniversary hot wheels bear he was so in love with it he would not put the display down. The worker was AMAZING! He let my son hold the display while the bear was being stuffed and was extremely nice kind and friendly! When it came time to put the heart in his bear the worker handed the heart to my son and to all of our surprise my son was very excited and helped him put the heart inside the bear. (We captured this on video). While it may not seem like a big deal . This was actually a huge deal for us my son responding and engaging in building his bear. The man was so so so kind to us especially to my son. He made my son's first build a bear experience very special! And what blew my mind was how great he was towards my son. (Again not knowing that my son has autism) he allowed my son to hold onto the display bear and once his bear was all done and all dressed in his race car suit. He said "trade?" And my sons face lit up from ear to ear. My son has been ATTACHED to his bear since. He sleeps, eats, and has to make sure his "Racey bear" is always by his side. I wish I could of got this man's name because his amazing customer service brought me to tears! It made this whole experience of building a bear really awesome. We also purchased a gift card and can't wait to go back and use it on our next bear ! read more

Nice experience for my two granddaughters. They both choose unicorns and were excited throughout the entire process of choosing an outfit, music, scent and a heart. The gentlemen that helped us named Charles was so very patient with my 3 and 4 year old granddaughters that I have to give him a "shout out" for being great with children. read more

I would suggest going to a store if you want the full experience. No one offered assistance while choosing a bear. My daughter chose one and we went to the filling area. The young lady said "get a heart" "step on the pedal" and that was it. My daughter loves the normal process of making a wish on the heart, the story and the personal interaction from the staff in making the birth cert and bear, which we did not get here. I could have went to Wal-Mart and pulled a bear off the shelf and left for a cheaper price. read more

Brought my daughter there for the first time yesterday. I love the small kiosk style. I have brought her to a store at Stonebridge mall and it was too over whelming for her. But yesterday at the kiosk was perfect for her, and the person that helped fluffed her cat I believed his name was Charlie or something similar. He was wondering with her he was very accommodating if her needs when I told him that she is autistic and that the stuffing machine might scare her. He showed me how it was more quite than the other ones, and all my daughter did was cover her ears and was ok during the process, and when he notice she is scared that the nozzle was not covered to show that it was turned "off" he immediately cover it and show her that it was off and okey. She had a great time there picking out what she wanted to put on her cat. Even though it might not have as huge of a selection as other store build a bear but it was enough for my daughter and her needs. read more
