Heard from another mama that they leave the animals out all day and all night even in the rain. Some animals have no shelter. This is disgusting practice. In response to the owner: additional photos I took that day showed bunny with no plywood over the cage. When I reported this to your employees, they ignored me. The only shade that you see in the photo from the bunny is if someone happened to stand next to the cage. So maybe spend time training your employees to properly care for the animals instead of being snippy on yelp. read more

Super cute local pumpkin patch with activities for the little ones. Not sure why there's such bad reviews, but we did go on a Monday. There was no crowd, lots of friendly families, and lots of pumpkins to choose from. The price of three of my mini pumpkins was $4, pretty reasonable for decorative pumpkins! Went on a Sunday, and it was packed. No surprise. But it's a really small, compact space. It feels like there's no crowd control so it feels like an ant farm. There's a few different stations; petting zoo ($4 per adult on top of entry ticket) w/ rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, hamster-ball in a pool, some other no-thrill game setups, and you can also be pulled by a lil' tractor. Besides tons of pumpkins - that you can actually purchase - there's also some DIY wooden cutouts of bootleg Shrek, Jasmine from Aladdin, Peanuts characters. Oh, and if you're hungry there's a decent snack booth. Overall, not the best but not the worst. read more

This is a great pumpkin patch to take the littles ones to. The ages are more for those that are 7 and under. The area is contained which a great way to keep track of where your little ones are at all times. They have boats, a tiny train ride, petting zoo, games, and a petting zoo. Torn on this review. I love this little pumpkin patch and used to come every year. Since they started charging admission, we haven't been back. As a family of 6 on a budget, paying $24 just to walk in and then to buy pumpkins is not doable. Plus, our kids are getting older and we would have to drag them with us- so to pay and fight with the kids, no thanks. I would love if they waived fee with minimum purchase. It really pains me to write this because there are quite a few things that make this little pumpkin patch charming, such as it being dog friendly, all the great photo ops, and it being great for little ones under 5. However, their hamster ball and bumper boat attraction is poorly run. I got in line and waited about 30-45 minutes and watched several children do the hamster ball. While waiting I asked the operator if we had a choice between the ball and the boat and they said yes and told me how many tickets each attraction cost. When I finally reached the front, the operator told me that they would finish up all the kiddos that wanted to do the hamster ball which was pretty much everyone else in line (about 5-6 others behind me) and then they would allow my child to ride the bumper boat. I found this incredibly unfair as we waited so long and to wait for people that lined up after me to go ahead was insult to injury. Their reasoning was that they couldn't have both at the same time and that the bumper boats were heavy to lift in and out. They also lost one hamster ball due to one getting water inside of it. I had no way of knowing that they were only doing the hamster ball as the operator did not tell me when I asked about having a choice between the two attractions. The people waiting in line ahead of me also told me they were switching often between the hamster ball and the boats prior to me getting in line. We complained with the woman at the ticket booth along with another customer and she told us that they do this for safety reason, understood..., and that they run each attraction for an hour, but again they were switching back and forth prior to me getting in line. I also was NOT informed when I bought the tickets. Had I known we would have done other attractions instead of wasting my time in line. I'm in my last trimester of pregnancy.. why would I wait in line for 30-45 mins for no reason?! My child was incredibly disappointed but it was getting late so we decided to ask for a refund for our tickets, but they do not provide refunds so we used the rest of our tickets to get a pumpkin. I'm extremely disappointed with our experience here. read more

We took our son to this pumpkin patch recently and we all had a really fun time! Our son is about to be two (Halloween baby actually) and had not yet been to an actual pumpkin patch. I called on a Sunday morning to verify if that they took card payments for their entrance fee. The fee is $3 per person and this includes toddlers over 1 years old. They sell tickets for their petting zoo, train ride or bumper boats. Our son loved it!! He took pictures and wanted to watch the kids on the bumper boats. They have a snack bar area and a zone to watch movies. We chose to come early to beat the crowd and it was easy to park and exit the large parking lot area. We look forward to coming back next year to ride the train and take more Halloween pictures with all the nice looking pumpkins. I saw this pumpkin patch driving by. Decided to give it a try. There's a small parking lot. As soon as you walk in you scan a bar code that signs a waiver. They you pay per person to get in and tickets to do any of the activities. This is a small pumpkin patch probably would say 5 and under. There's a petting zoo, a pool where you can ride a boat or hamster ball, and they also have a little tractor rode with buckets. We did everything in like 30 minutes. It's small but I really enjoyed that it's not extremely over crowded. read more

This was our second year going and both times it felt a little overpriced (had to pay for each activity) and underwhelming and it's run by teenagers who we had to go and ask to do each activity because they were all hanging out at the front together. Honestly went to get a pumpkin and they barely had any to choose from. They wanted to charge us $25 just to go in and then charge for each activity. That would be minimum $50 without even getting a pumpkin and for only two of my kids to do the hamster balls. Which costs $12 each. Sorry but that's a lot of money to pay which doesn't include anything else. I would have been happy to walk in and pay for the activities it's the fee just to walk in there that's a problem for me. Super cute little pumpkin patch, but expensive ($3 per person and sometimes, kids are free) for its size and the variety of pumpkins available. We think this patch is perfect for kids 3yo and under. Fun little games for kids to play, one tire ride, one boat ride, tractor ride around, etc. Also, there's a tiny petting zoo (bunnies, chicks, ducklings, one sheep, two goats, two pigs, and piglet) for an additional fee. There's a tiny outdoor "theater" that projects kids films onto a screen. Tiniest little maze for 2yo and under. Everything is "tiny" and perfect for babies. Loved that it's smaller, so you can watch your little ones closely. Cute areas to take pictures. Best to go early where there are many more pumpkins for pictures. Owner also placed a huge box of tiny pumpkins out in the small parking lot area for kids to take. He regulated a lot for kids to get off displays or pumpkins. My 3yo toddler boy loved the little tire ride, petting the animals, and playing games with kids. My 1yo baby girl explored by herself and had a great time. We used to come to this pumpkin patch including this location on our Christmas tree hunt yearly as well... however this year was different .. possibly and highly likely our last visit here. Charging for entry $4 per person was NEW this year, but NO new attractions, everything run down from past years.. and extra $4 dollars per person for patting zoo that had pigs and goats that do not enjoy being patted, caged bunnies and little chicks that you can only look at (although young person in petting zoo was nice). This is also second time that I was charged for order from prior person at the checkout booth, luckily from experience I checked and asked for money back. My son was so excited for the hamster ball and bumper boat but the line was so unorganized, 2 kids and 1 adult with 1 kids jumped a queue, I thought they just wanted to take a closer look of how other kids play. The kid in front of me played hamster ball then bumper boat but when it's our turn the guy said after my son played the hamster ball we have to get in the line again for the bumper boat. He wasn't clearly told me to get back in line so we waited 15 mins then he came to us and said we have to line up again. I feel like this is disrespectful and discrimination. It was a raining day on Sat, we waited more than an hr in line. It's been 4 days until this happens but I am still so mad, will never return again. I have been coming here for 9 years. I loved that is was near our community and just big enough for my small children. What was once a charming little pumpkin patch is a grotesque money grab. Experiences are overpriced; there's no break for buying larger ticket quantities; and they charge you entry fees on top? I bought 40 tickets for $80. Then was charged an additional $24 for entry fees. I used to love picking out an assortment of special pumpkins. They broke me at the ticket booth. I'm going elsewhere to buy pumpkins and I can say I'm never coming back here again. read more

We've visited Shadelands Ranch Pumpkin Patch for the last couple years and my little one (almost 5) has enjoyed each visit so much that we often stay for 4-5 hours at a time (and we go multiple times throughout the month of October). Yes...4-5 hours haha. Each year they've offered a petting zoo, a pool bumper boat ride, and cow tractor train but each year they also offer something unique. Last year they had a fun hay maze that my little one parkoured around for hours. This year they had a fun basketball hoop game as well as movies. The staff is super friendly. The pumpkins are good quality. And I anticipate this will be an annual tradition as my little one is still begging to go back despite November now being here. read more

The value for your money is just not there unfortunately. $4 pp to get in but that gives you nothing except the opportunity to shop for over priced pumpkins and to take some photos as the displays do look nice. However everything else costs extra and just over priced...like another $4 a tiny petting zoo (worth more like $2) , more to make art, more for bumper boats, more for tractor ride which I never saw running anyway. All the free games are old and missing pieces so I just feel that either the price to get in should cover a bit more or the special activities could still have a cost attached without the added admission price too. Overall kind of borning and I just paid to look at pumpkins that I could have done for free literally anywhere- but maybe would have bought one if all our money didn't go to just walking in. This was our first pumpkin patch this year and we weren't disappointed. They had fun activities such as petting zoo, basketball, shooting games, swings, and a movie screen to play Halloween movies. We brought our three year old here and she had a great time. For it being in such a small little area, there was quite a lot for her to do. They have a petting zoo, hay maze, cut outs to pose in/with, little water boats they can ride, a saddle swing that was really fun, and a cow train (although this wasn't working when we stopped by, so she wasn't able to ride it). You do have to pay to get into different activities although some of them are free. I think it was like $10 for 3 of us to enter and also go into the petting zoo. The petting zoo attendant was super friendly and knowledgeable. She seemed to really love the animals which was cool. There were two pregnant goats and one of them was in labor while we were there, so that was interesting, having given birth a month and a half prior, I felt her pain! I just tried to rub her back and head and it seemed to soothe her a bit :) the other animals in there were pigs (including a cute baby), chickens, and bunnies. They were all very cute. One thing I didn't expect was there were tons of great photo opportunities at the pumpkin patch and the surrounding area. So I have attached some of those photos. It was really pretty. Cute small pumpkin patch for locals to visit. I'm not sure their rules on admission fees as they sometimes charge $3 per person/child and sometimes let you in for free. There are no rides or jump houses so I would say it's geared towards children under age of 3. There is a small petting zoo and staff is friendly. There is a parking lot tucked behind or you can park at the shopping center adjacent and walk over. We live in the area and visit a couple times each season. read more

My fiancé, pup and I went here this evening to take our pics but also take our pup for his 1st pumpkin patch. What a successful night! It was pretty small but we got the pics we wanted. There was a lot of people but we did go around 6pm. It closes at 9pm. No admission fee and a lot of cute spots for picture taking. Not a lot of cons but wanted to list out a few at the bottom. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: - Free admission - Closes at 9pm - Allows dogs - Sells food (there's a cost) - Petting zoo (there's a cost) - Train ride (there's a cost) - Small hay maze - A lot of spots for picture taking - Arts a craft area for kids - You can buy pumpkins - Close to breweries - Calicraft and Mike Hess - Everyone wore a mask Cons: - Small area (you can be done in 30 min lol) - Parking is limited. If you can't find parking, drive further down to the next parking lot and the walk is like 4-5 min. - Not a lot of social distancing. It's kinda small area so couldn't really practice that. They said my dog peed on a pumpkin near the entrance so we couldn't enter. Yet, other dogs were in this tiny, overpriced pumpkin patch and they were peeing on the pumpkins. Why was our dog discriminated against? I didn't bother to complain because my son was so looking forward to picking out a pumpkin so I waited outside while he roamed around. $35 for a large pumpkin. We love this cute little pumpkin patch! It is great for little kids with plenty of little areas to explore, a small petting zoo, good photo ops, pumpkin painting and a hamster ball water pit for older kids. Oh, and lots of pumpkins to choose from! We hosted our 2 year old's birthday party here and it was so great! Though it can be hard to plan in advance (they don't open & aren't reachable before 10/1), once we got ahold of the managers (through the WC historical society) it was great. They reserve an area of the patch for you for 2+ hours and you bring your own food & cake...it's a cute set up, all the kids were really entertained and loved painting pumpkins. I would highly recommend for a party venue for little ones, they loved it & it was really easy for us! read more
