Very helpful staff ! I ended up buying a few outfits for my grandmas bear. The prices weren't bad. The place was clean and well organized.

We had gone to this location a few weeks ago when visiting Columbus. It was a Sunday and busy. The store was busy and there were only 2 people working. The lines were a bit crazy and congested. I have a child with special needs, who wasn't doing well as the lines continued to grow. We needed to step to the side to give him some room to breathe. I tried to explain to the girl at the stuffing stating why we were on the other side of the line but she didn't listen and refused to help us when next instead moving to others stating we weren't in line, when we had in fact been in line. We left without purchasing anything and I would never go back to this store. We have had build-a-bear experiences at other stores before with no issues, but this time was very different. Lack of awareness or inability to listen and understand children when you work in a store for children is not acceptable short staffed or not. I would not recommend this location after my experience. read more

BAB offers a Birthday Bear where your price is the age of your kiddo (in their birthday month). We took my daughter when she turned 2 and her bear is one of her favorite things. So, I decided to take her back for her 3rd birthday. We went on a Thursday morning and thankfully it wasn't crowded. The staff do a great job not rushing kids when filling their animals so it can take awhile if there is a crowd. Kiddos get to pick out a heart and there is a cute series of commands (like give the heart a big hug) done before the heart goes into the animal. Jordan was the staff person who helped us today. She was awesome and my daughter left so excited about her bunny (decided to get that over the birthday bear) and it's accessories. The stuffie and accessory selection is great - makes it hard to choose what to get. You're definitely paying for the experience of BAB but I think it's worth it for the memories. We will definitely be back and are likely to make this a birthday tradition! read more

This was my first time visiting, even though I've walked by this place for years. Being a new grandfather, that changes my shopping spots. What impressed me about this location was how efficiently they handled their power outage, on Black Friday, of all days. They were professional in how they announced the situation and how they coordinated customer care and sales. They were very informative while helping us "build a bear" for my grandbeauty and expressed a general sense of appreciation for our business. Considering the madness of the day, their collective pleasant service was very much appreciated by us and other customers. I will definitely be back! read more

Always been a fan of Build-A-Bear did it for all my kids ordered one for my grandchild and somehow between placing the order and it being shipped they screwed up The address so the city state and zip code changed to my Billings address​. So now the package is MIA and they won't cancel my order nor can modify the address so I'm out 60 to 70 bucks and the customer service just acts like it's no big deal in the first lady I talked to even got rude with me and said that was what I put in it that is incorrect cuz I even double checked the addresses cuz I've never had anything shit to an Air Force Base before. I loved this location right in the center of Easton!! I think the only think I didn't appreciate was the very political things you can dress your stuffed animal in. Why are we forcing this on kids at such a young age?! Unbelievable!! There are so many different animals to stuff. Your girl got a stuffed sparkly unicorn I named Sparkles (are we shocked)?! My boyfriend chose out a shirt for her to wear that says "I love you" & I put a colorful tutu on her. He also put a message in her foot & when I press on her foot, his voice says, "I love you" you can put customized messages in the animals for you to press anytime you want to listen too. You can also put a beating heart. You can choose to have the stuffed animal more firm or more soft. There are so many clothes to pick from to dress them in. I thought the prices were reasonable. We visited here for one of the boy's birthdays as this was their choice of event for the evening. Bummer was that they weren't letting everyone in b/c of COVID restrictions (Jan 2021) and it was SUPER cold outside so there was just a huge line of people waiting outside in the freezing cold! They COULD have taken names and numbers and had the person monitoring the door call people when it's close to their turn... I dunno... just an idea to increase customer service. Might be a pain but ... it would also avoid having to force little children to wait out in the freezing cold. Once we got inside, I will say the place is pretty cute. The person hosting us along could have had more of a ... cheery personality ... and maybe try to make it fun and upbeat. They didn't seem too amused to be there and this is supposed to be a fun experience, so ... just another suggestion in their choice of operations and choosing staffing. Prices... are ... CRAZY!!! We paid over $200 for two bears!!! WTF?!?!?!?! My fiance almost puked lol! But.. held it back with a smile as to not ruin the birthday fun. The boys didn't even go crazy either, they only got one outfit for their bears and one extra item (a staff I think it was)... so ... I really have no idea how two bears could cost so much.....! But... the bear are cute and the boys were happy... so ... whatever. read more

We had a gift card from, um, last Christmas, so I took Baby K for a "aprise" visit. She was thrilled. Not busy at all on a Friday afternoon two weeks before Christmas. Service was excellent- they know how to treat kids, and their grown-ups. My only complaint was it all happened so fast I didn't think to get my phone out, and didn't preserve the super-cute interactions. It took K about 30 seconds to home in on a Skye "bear," making it number 365, er, at least 15, in our house. I passed on the talking option, for my sanity and so that Sweetie would let me continue to live in the house. K got to help stuff Skye, and there was a whole little thing where she warmed up her heart, made it beat, etc. Super, super cute. Then it was time to pick out clothes... So, the price can add up. Our gift card covered the basic stuffie at $35, but the clothes added about $25. There is a "2 for $45" deal going on, but again, watch out for the add-ons. Still, it's a nice quality toy and a fun splurge. Baby K is not the "I want this, and this, and this" kind of kid, so she was happy with one stuffie and the basic outfit. One of my 2022 goals is to nurture my inner child more. To encourage myself to choose things that bring joy and excitement to my life! This checked all the boxes. I hadn't been to Build-A-Bear since I was a little kid. I've wanted to go back for years but told myself is was "too silly" or "immature." When my birthday came around this weekend and my partner asked what I'd like to do, I decided I wanted to make a bear. He took me to the Easton Build-A-Bear, and let me find the cutest, softest teddy bear I could find. I even got to put a special, silver 25th anniversary heart in it (which was such a coincidence because I was celebrating my 25th birthday). I didn't find any clothes I liked because they're mostly geared towards little kids which is totally fine. I left the store completely elated with my new bear! The employees at this location are fun and friendly. They help you decide which add ons you want to build the bear that is personalized to your Tatar's. My boys are 6 and 8 and loved every minute of their trip to build a bear. They chose sounds, scents, stuffed them to their liking, chose an outfit and a name. Very cute bears that I hope the boys hold onto for years to come. read more

Drive an hour and a half to build a bear to get my one year old daughter her pay your age bear for her birthday. Asked an employee where they were. Employee stated they were out and were not offering substitutions. The employee was rude and not at all helpful or apologetic. what a waste of time and gas for us to drive all the way there and they offered no remedy to the situation. TERRIBLE customer service. It's a Build A Bear, right! So what else is there to say about them. Loads of kids going nuts in there. The staff either looking very happy that they get to play with stuffed toys all day or very tired that they have to deal with screaming kids all day. They have lots of clothes for the animals and now they have Smurfs you can make! Cool - if you are into Smurfs. For me the highlight (and the reason) for my visit was to get an Angry Bird stuffy for the kid. I had fun just standing there pressing their buttons and hearing the game noises. I was just a bit miffed when I discovered a toy store in Polaris (can't recall the name of it) had same birds for $2 cheaper along with birds you could suction cup to your window. Only been here twice, once in '09 and today. They moved next to Macy's to make more room for other stores. They updated their things to, the wait for the stuffing is kind of long but everyone is always nice. Oh and just stick with just the bear and not clothes and voice things. lol :D read more

Exciting store full of stuff animals, with clothing and accessories for them. I have 3 bears of which I buy outfits for. Just bought an OSU football uniform for one of my bear along with cleats. The customer service was excellent. I wanted to buy a bear and wanted to know where in Cleveland the bear could be stuffed and the associate looked up the locations. She was really patient and answered all my questions. The bear was reasonably price well lets face it over priced but het what baby wants baby gets lol. read more

I brought my daughter here on a Saturday night after we watched Cinderella at the AMC. THERE WERE KIDS EVERYWHERE!!!! The line was long and screaming kids were everywhere. I looked at the young lady making my daughter's Princess Aurora Cat and asked her if it is always like this. And she said, it's actually slow right now. Really? If this is your "slow" I am so thankful I don't work here. Those kids will drive you crazy!!!!! There are a lot of different items to pick from though. There's probably over 100 different animals to choose from to get stuffed and just as many outfits. I was given the $15 coupon for there issue with paying $1.00 for every year. Si in my case it would be three dollars. I printed the $15 coupon and my grandson threw the mall and had a bear picked out on done. When I finally get to the register to pay. I was told that the coupon wa add no good and they said it would not be onered. I will not go back to thos location. read more

This has been the nemesis of parents and grandparents with small kids for a long time. Very fun concept, quality product. They do cycle through new characters with time, including the new Spongebob and Patrick. I'll admit some older kids and adults love this place as well. Yes, it's a place to spend your disposable income on something fun, but worth it. read more
