And upon moving I realized my 1912 farmhouse was already full of... country mice. Having discovered a bizarre stash of sesame seeds in my laundry (that wasn't mine) and hearing tiny things go bump (scritch scritch) in the night, I called Marvel Pest Service. Pulling up in a superhero-emblazoned Subaru and efficiently scoping out the rodent situation in the house, Fred reassured me that he had the situation under control. After the initial treatment (snap traps and bait traps) there's been a significant drop in tiny roommate activity and I'm committing to monthly visits to ensure it stays that way. Also super appreciate Fred being properly masked his whole visit, COVID is one bug Marvel isn't gonna catch!

My husband and I called Pace about a month ago, as we were having a squirrel problem. They did come…read moreout the next day, but determined that we would have to seal up any entrances that the squirrels might be getting thru. We did this, and they came out again. The owner's brother in law came and set up 2 traps on the roof. They did trap one squirrel within a day and did come remove it. This was on a Friday...they do not work on weekends. Come next Wednesday, we hadn't heard a word from them. My husband called and was told that they had been to our house 7 times since the past Friday. Considering that they don't work weekends, that would have been over 2x a day that they claimed to be there. They also claimed to have removed several more squirrels, none of which my husband and I ever saw. Between the 2 of us, we are home a lot during business hours, so should have seen something. Their fee was $450.00. We felt that we should get more for our money than trapping one squirrel. My husband called the owner, Matt, on the phone, and admitedly did get upset with him and the company's obvious lies and poor service. After being on the phone for close to an hour, the call came to an end when Matt threatened to "punch" my husband "In his head". Nice customer service! This is probably the most AWFUL service company I have EVER encountered. I don't believe we should have paid anything or very little, especially since they threated us with violence! They also threatened to take us to court if we didn't pay, and judging by their extremely unprofessional attitude, we feared that they might retaliate on our house in some way. Horrible, horrible company! I would not recommend them AT ALL!!

I tried doing it myself using a spray bottle with 1/2 water & 1/2 dish soap to be as environmentally safe as possible and then once soaked, I used a broom handle in my attempt to knock it down (I was behind the screen door). Huge mistake, didn't work and just made them rebuild it larger in 1 1/2 days! Luckily for us, this company was recommended and they did not disappoint! Dealt with Mickey who set up the appt right away after explaining the situation. Joe Jr was our hero to the rescue! He was on time, had everything he needed, suited up and got right to work! Sprayed the nest, tore the nest down & bagged it, then sprayed some more so they wouldn't come back again and it's been over a week being hornets nest free! Joe let me take a video while he was wrangling this nest down which was very cool & family members loved it. I highly recommend this company for any & all pest issues! They are definitely the best!! Thanks again Mickey & Joe Jr! It's been a pleasure dealing with you both and will definitely use your services again when/if needed! The pics with the dead hornet bodies are from the next day, Joe had said any of them that are left & touch where he sprayed will die and they sure did! Yay!!

Those little critters were snacking on some of my favorite treats! And they were not shy about leaving their droppings EVERYWHERE. As I had never had a mice issue before this was incredibly stressful. I looked around at several different pest control companies and ended up going with Bearclaw because they were the most responsive to my inquiry. On the day they were scheduled to come out, the tech was right on time in the window provided. What I really liked is that he spent a lot of time explaining the process. I learned how important it was to seal any possible entry points for the mice as they could squeeze into spaces as small as a dime. The tech went around the exterior of my house looking for gaps and sealed a few. He thought they were coming in through the basement casing windows. He said that would prevent any more from getting in. Then, he set some old school snap traps which I appreciated because they had no poison and no glue. Within a few days the traps had gotten a few of the mice. And now a month and a half later, they do not appear to have returned. So, a solid A+ rating from me. And what I liked best of all is that they did not try to upsell me on anything. The tech was very straight in saying they could come back if I needed/wanted but I could probably remove the used traps myself if I was up for it. EVERY other company tried to sell me plans which I did not need. These guys are the best; give them a try!
