These lovely folks made my Thanksgiving of 2024! Picture it,…read moreBrightwood, Oregon. One stressed out wanna be chef (Me) on the mountain needed a bit of help with a Thanksgiving feast for Kings. Busy Bee Catering swooped in and saved the day with their "Sides-Giving" offerings fit for royalty! Their fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy were divine. Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, as was the relish tray (as big as a trough for my goats), roasted vegetables and Fall harvest salad topped with sinfully delicious candied pecans. I feel like getting married again so Busy Bee Catering can handle the food. Thank you so much! You'll be seeing me and my hungry tummy again SOON!

They were amazing to work with and so calm and wise to keep this MOTG relaxed to enjoy the events. The quotes were more reasonable than others and food/flavor/freshness/presentation not compromised. I had wanted our son to go with the PDX caterer and Jan & Dani were definitely the best choice. You can't go wrong with them. We also used them at Alpine Events for our rehersal dinner with 52 people and the dinner was fabulous and the event space so lovely and personal for our gathering. Jan & Dani even decorated with the runners/candles/banner and flowers that we dropped off while at the rehersal. I can't say enough about them! Janey

She bent over backwards to help us incorporate all of our preferences, and the food was delicious---everything was perfect. I think Blossoms is the most professional wedding vendor in the Hood River Valley, hands down. I highly recommend them for any event-- you will not be disappointed by their delicious food or great service.

The staff there really worked with us to make sure that all of our needs were met. I was so surprised and pleased to hear that they would pick up napkins (from a separate rental co.) the day before and have them folded prior to the wedding- I had expected that I would be doing that. They also printed up menus with colors of our choice and, upon request, noted vegan and GF options for guests. And the food, oh the food! Guests and vendors alike raved about the food that was served. The variety and quality of the appetizers and sides was amazing. The cedar-plank salmon was cooked perfectly. Guests really enjoyed the family-style service that we opted for. It felt great to be able to supply such a fantastic meal for our friends and family. We really appreciate the amazing crew at Blossoms and highly recommend them!!

Just so I've given all the information needed on this review I'll start with saying I book a…read morerehearsal dinner for my son and daughter in-law with Sarah, last August in 2018 for August 2019 event. I did everything over the phone as I live in a different state. Sarah was very good over the phone with great suggestions. By September 2018, I'd signed her contract and the entire event was set. Prices, food, times etc. I had table decorations shipped to Four Seasons/Bargeway Pub and Sarah was great to let me know when they arrived etc. I learned from Sarah in late March of 2019 that she sold the business to Steve Kane and his wife. She assured me she would be at our event, and that nothing would change. About 3 weeks later I received a new contract for a considerably higher price from Sarah- saying it was the new owners contract. After some talk everyone agreed to the original contract. After all, when Steve bought the business he bought my contract as is. Fast forward to the event. Sarah did not come to the event, the food was not served as Sarah and I planned. Prime Rib was to be served as a bone in Rib Roast carved by servers for the guest. There were no servers at all, all of our guest served themselves sliced Prime Rib, Salmon and/or chicken. Steve and 1 other person worked the bar and the complete party for 74 guests alone. There were several issues and misunderstandings. The awesome pie bar with 8 varieties of cream pies with 1 berry option and back lighting, was instead a plain tiered serving table with a total of a very few chocolate cream pie slices and the rest all berry for 74 people. I was disappointed. I felt that if Sarah had attended as promised we would have avoided some of the issues. 4 stars: I am however giving this review 4 stars because in the very end, the food was delicious, and my guests all enjoyed themselves. Steve and his employee worked very hard hustling to refill food, drinks and taking plates away. I would have preferred the serving to have been as my contract was written and how it was sold to me. When I spoke with Steve a few days later about my disappointments the first thing he said was "What can I do to make this better". He did not argue and in the end did the right thing. All of the guests had a lovely time, as mentioned the food was very good, and the view outside was just stunning. Many photo were taken as treasured memories that night. All of this earned Four Seasons 4 stars. My only advice to anyone booking a party at Four Seasons with Steve, make sure all the details are very clear even down to the smallest, so that there are no misunderstandings. I also believe Sarah did her best under the circumstances. The Bargeway and Four Seasons are off the beaten path, but the place offers a beautiful setting for a great night for your event.

Service was prompt, and the restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant. It's kind of funny because you'll have people in suits having a business meeting over dinner, and other regular hotel guests just dining casually in t-shirts and jeans. On both occasions, I was dining with another family member. When we were there for dinner, we were having a really hard time deciding what to order, and our server let us know that there was a 2-for deal going on for some of the pastas. Each of us had been considering a pasta, so that solved that problem! Both were delicious, and we had leftovers to take home. When we were there for breakfast, I was feeling adventurous and ordered the lox and bagel, which I've only had a very basic version of one other time. It was soooo good, and very filling. Several other options on the breakfast menu also sounded really good, but I'm glad I went with this for the experience. I'd definitely eat here again if/when I stay in the hotel again. Since there's no free breakfast offered by the hotel, they give you vouchers for the restaurant, so you can get a pretty good deal on a meal.

Definitely the standout of the table for me. Service was friendly and expedient, which I always appreciate in the morning when everyone is trying to get caffeinated and out the door. My companions ordered the protein bowl, which was a hearty mix of grains and grilled vegetables with your choice of tofu or egg. It leaned a little bland flavor-wise, but it did exactly what it needed to do: provided a filling, healthy base for a full day of activity in Hood River. Not every dish was a knockout, but overall it was a very solid breakfast spot with fair pricing at about $18 per dish.
