With the drought followed by the influx of water with recent rains, I had every kind of bug - spiders, ants, etc. in my home. Nothing I did stopped them. I have two babies in the house and I reused to allow my husband to spray anything for fear it could harm them. Finally, after finding a spider literally crawling around my youngest baby, I broke down and called Keillor's Pest Solutions. And THANK GOD I did! Justin offered to come out the next morning (I called in the evening, or I think he's have offered to make it that same day). My schedule didn't allow that, so he came out when it was convenient for me later in the week. He showed up, shook my hand and got right to work. I appreciated that he wore shoe covers, respecting my clean floors - which sounds silly, but it means a lot when I barely manage to keep my home clean with two kids. A contractor coming in a dirtying the floors is literally the worst! I also appreciate the fact that he uses baby-safe products. He made me (the biggest skeptic) feel comfortable and that my babies would be safe after spraying. And, for all the well-meaning husbands out there who "can do it [yourself]," I get it. But! Keillor's Pest Solutions uses spray you can't buy without a license, so...really...you can't. (But thank you for manning up and trying, I know I appreciate the effort!) Justin sprayed inside, laid granules outside, and is coming back to spray outside since it was raining the day he first visited. He was quick, efficient, and pleasant in our communications. Best of all? THE BUGS ARE ALREADY DEAD! It's literally been a day and a half and already I see massive progress. I'm so happy I could cry. His prices are very reasonable. He comes out once a month and charges next-to-nothing bimonthly. But, honestly? I'd have paid anything to see such a great outcome so quickly. Better still, he guarantees his work and offers to come back if any pests return. I highly recommend Keillor's Pest Solutions. My husband owns a local business, which has made me VERY picky when it comes customer service. Even still, I find Justin to be top notch in customer service, price, and performance. If you're in the market for a pest control guy, seriously don't think about it anymore. I can't believe I waited so long. Thank you, Keillor's Pest Control!

    I submitted a Yelp quote for how much a pest control service would cost and literally 30 seconds…read moreafter I hit submit I received a phone call and greeted with a friendly customer service individual. She let me know she received my initial request and wanted to know a little bit more. I told her that I had some ants in the master bathroom and she provided me information on their services. After a brief description of their services and a quote, I knew that I needed someone out as soon as possible. she was able to provide me with a same-day service. It was quick and easy process all set up within 10 to 15 minutes over the phone. I really appreciated her friendly demeanor and helpfulness regarding my Ant issue. I'm saving for a wedding and so the prices that she offered me fit in my budget and she was super helpful! Overall 10/10 for Customer Service. Will edit review if possible after the technician comes out. Follow up after technician: Scott called 1.5 hours after I scheduled my apt and let me know he would be at my house in 30 mins. He was on time and came in to check out my ant infestation. He provided me some knowledge on the traps I had out and let me know that the ants typically die in the trap instead of taking the poison back to the nest. He treated the area and proceeded to do the outside of the house. He also reminded me that if i needed any treatments outside of the 90 day check up that I could call and they would come out. I appreciate the quick and knowledgeable service from the individuals who helped me. So glad I called out to Pro active pest control!

    Worst service ever! We had Chippewa for just under a year (we terminated our contract) and every…read moreaspect of their service is terrible. Their pest control spray service guys are either poorly trained or just have no work ethic. The first one we had didn't have our bi-monthly service on his calendar. He forgot everytime and I HAD TO CALL AND REMIND HIM EVERYTIME! Apparently that guy quit or was fired because when I called the office to have them send our service guy out because he was two weeks late, I was informed he was no longer with the company and that we would get a new guy. The office didn't even give our address to the new guy or if they did he didn't bother to come to our house either! It gets worse... The second guy came and did a terrible job. I told him there were black widows and that we have a 1 year old so I don't want them anywhere. He didn't clean up the webs AND he did such a terrible job that within a week or two we had black widows taking over our backyard. I can't imagine he sprayed at all...This is the point where I called in Team Gibbs who totally nailed it and will get our continued gratitude for the amazing job he did eradicating our house of black widows. He was appalled at the job done. He found 3-4 black widow nests in areas right around the house. These are areas that should have been sprayed only 2 weeks prior! Needless to say Team Gibbs is our new pest service company!! Now, a full 3 months after that last terrible service from Chippewa, their billing office sent me a bill for half the total service amount! I never paid half (always a check in full handed to the guy while he was at my house), but I doubled checked my records and yup, I paid the full $65 dollars. I have called twice and left all the information on their voicemail and have not heard back! They also never answer their phone during business hours and rarely return phone calls. Just just suck at everything. Avoid this company!

    This company was hired to complete a pest inspection prior to my escrow closing. I called…read moreimmediately when the inspection was scheduled to provide payment over the phone. I spoke with a woman at the front desk and gave my card information at that time. After the inspection was completed, I received the report via email. I replied to confirm with Kevin that my payment information had been received. He responded confirming that it had and stated he would charge my card once he returned from working out of town. I continued to check my account, but the charge never appeared, and over time it unfortunately slipped my mind. Fast forward seven months later--one week before Christmas--I was contacted requesting payment. I replied to the entire email chain showing my prior attempts to pay and explained that, due to the timing and lack of notice, I would need to make payment when I was able, as this expense had not been budgeted for. I also spoke with Kevin by phone, and while he seemed understanding, there was no acknowledgment that this delay was due to the company's failure to process payment when originally authorized. Last night, I noticed my card had been charged, leading me to believe my card information from seven months ago was used without prior notice or authorization at that time. This is not about avoiding payment--I made every effort to pay promptly and responsibly from the beginning. This situation is disappointing, especially as many of us are making a conscious effort to support small businesses in our community. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would recommend using a different company for pest inspection services.

I'm the buyer who was looking to purchase a house and the seller had already had a pest report done by stoneridge. I went over the past report and under the guidance and oversight of a licensed contractor performed a lot of the major repairs on the pest report. I decided to call them out for a reinspection and Kevin was super rude on the phone after he had done the inspection. And upon receiving the new report he pointed out new items that weren't on the initial inspection. He listed items again that had already been appropriately repaired and inspected by a state structural inspector. And did not provide photos for about half of the items that he called out. This company is about as shady as it gets. I would not recommend using them. You could spend a year calling them out and chasing all of the issues that don't exist or have already been repaired.
