We had a coupon for 1/2 off one person but they only took off a few dollars, called it half and added more tax. My husband and I stopped in here for lunch after a doctors appointment. The restaurant had been open less than an hour and some of the food items appeared to be hot by view of steam table. First bite of the crab Rangoon was tough and chewy. I had to pull it with my hand while holding with my teeth to even attempt to eat. Next was my favorite green beans, believe it or not but they had good flavor and crisp but were ice cold and wilted. One last item before I gave up on the meal completely was beef and broccoli the meat appeared to be undercooked I tried to overlook the difference in the colors of red but I couldn't make myself try to eat it. So in order to try the broccoli itself I had to go get a knife and cut in since the tines on the fork wouldnt pierce the raw vegetable. After those 5 bites of food from my plate and my husbands full plate. We got the waitress' attention and told her we couldn't eat this food because of not being hot, not being cooked correctly Rice crunch. Vegetables colf, meat raw in middle and we werebt staying. He raised his voice and said we could only be getting one meal removed that we were responsible for paying over 16.00. I informed him we had just sat down and food not edible. He doesnt care. Claims hes the only management and he didnt mind raising his voice . We paid and then messed up and we charged twice im still waiting for the 32.00 charge to drop off. Ill call the corporate office if i ever find a number as such. In the meantime. Its sad that people like him are allowerd in customer service. We will NOT be returning to a place that not not only made me question the safety of the food but to have someone treat you like that is inexcusable. Buffet Palace is just like every other buffet. LOTS of choices, and the food was actually very good. I like buffets because they have so many different kinds of shrimp. And don't forget the mussels! Seriously, I made a pig of myself. Some ocean is half empty right now because of me. They kept the buffet stocked and fresh. We really enjoyed it. I will say that I have ate in many "Chinese Buffet" style restaurants and by far this was one of the worst. This place was dingy with poor lighting and the food had several entrees that were lacking taste. for example: the Egg Drop soup was watery with no flavor. The chicken was over fried which I'm not sure why they would even serve it. The water had a moldy taste, so I had to switch to a soft drink. I wonder if that is their gimmick for the customer to buy their soft drinks. I usually go for seconds but not at this place, I also had family members feel the same way about this restaurant. Poor food, Dingy as well as a not too pleasant atmosphere. Overall if you visit this place go on your own risk and decide for yourself. The only reason I gave it a two star is because the servers were busting their rare ends trying to keep the customers pleased. read more

Food is always amazing every time we go there. Being a buffet, I don't go very often as I always eat more than I should. But especially at the buffet palace. Food is always fresh. This was one of my dad's favorite places to go when he was here with us. My siblings and I met there for lunch on Christmas in honor of my dad. And even on Christmas they had the same amazing buffet as always. It was not a limited or short menu due to being a holiday. The food was just as good as any other time. This is your standard Asian buffet place, it has mainly been my husband who has come here during a post Covid world, I have only been there the once that I have checked in, so I asked him about their Covid protocols. Covid operations, has them using plastic ware and styrofoam plates. They have you dishing up your own plates, but you must wear the plastic food service gloves while you do so. You are also supposed to have your mask on anytime you are not at your table. They provide the gloves, however they only have medium. So if you have larger hands it becomes a bit of a trick to get them on and off again which is an issue for him. While there is some monitoring of making sure people are following the rules that they've set in place, obviously there are times people are not wearing at least the gloves when going back up to the buffet. The biggest thing that brings me back, is they have buffalo wings, and a buffet price for them is less than I would spend ordering them from a wing shop. As well, we regularly receive mailer coupons from value pak and other advertised based mailed coupons. With those it does make this a more affordable lunch option for the amount of food that you get if you happen to be in the area to use them. read more

For a Chinese Buffet, we really liked this place. When they first opened, a lot of the dishes here taste better than other local Chinese restaurants that we eat at nearby. (Realize that most all of the Chinese restaurants in this area serve Westernized-Chinese food, and is not Chinese-Chinese food like you'd find in Chinatown. Most all the employees were Chinese, several spoke mandarin to each other...hoping that the cooks in the back are also Chinese...wouldn't be surprised if they are bc the way the food tasted and was cooked). The orange chicken, sesame chicken, pepper chicken, broccoli beef, broccoli chicken, salmon with mayo, ribs, soups...very good! The sushi was kinda sad, but decent enough. Didn't get a chance to try the Mongolian Grill this time, but we'll be back. Loved the layout and decor...hope they stick around for a long time. One Star because I had to in order to post a review. Worst buffet I have ever experienced. For my family of four on a midweek evening was $60, for this price let me explain what food we attempted to consume that ultimately left my husband sick at the end of the night. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside but mush on the inside, Crab legs were I'm assuming fried or something, when you cracked them open there was some kind of meat in them but it took a lot of work to find and again some mushy substance. Fried rice which can be hard to mess up was less than desirable to eat as well. As we tried different items to try to enjoy our dinner the plates piled up and sat there until the end of or dinner. Let me start off by saying I would like to give zero stars to this restaurant, but unfortunately thats not how yelp works. My party of 8 arrived at about 8:05 (they close at 9:30) thinking we would still have a good selection & good service. We received neither! Almost all the food was cold & needed to be replenished. They had a surplus of egg rolls but I figured out when I bit into it. Total mush with a funky taste. I immediately spit it out. Then we have the staff. Our plates weren't collected, our drinks weren't replenished, and I had to ask if they do hibachi on week days because the cook was nowhere in sight. They were able to get him from his extended break to come and cook some of the bland-ess hibachi I've ever had. Without gloves, I might add. The icing on the cake? I went to take my baby to the bathroom to change her diaper but I couldn't. The diaper table was filthy and looked loose. read more
