The last few times we have gone to BWW have been disappointing to say the least but the last time confirmed that it would be our last time dining there. While the prices keep going up, the portions have shrunk and the size of the wings themselves make you wonder if you are eating chicken or sparrow they are so tiny. The service is horrendous. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to even be acknowledged by a server even though the place is at approximately a third of its full capacity. Even though you order appetizers and dinner, everything comes out at the same time with your drinks arriving sometimes after the food has come out. This week we went in and sat ourselves because the sign said "Please seat Yourself." A rude hostess came up to us after we had been sitting for over 20 minutes to chastise us for seating ourselves. She was chatting with a group of waitresses and never cane up for air. When I pointed to the sign, she said "that is always there. you still need to wait for me." I guess I must have missed my mind reading class. The sign is not heavy and easy to move if they wanted to remove confusion. This scene played out several times throughout the night as customers did what the sign advised and each time the hostess who was never up front got nasty with the customers. Now onto the food and the service. Once again , we waited over 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. It took another 20 minutes to get our drinks and when they finally came 2 out of three were wrong. We waited another 30 minutes to get our food, which once again came all together. no separation of the appetizers and entrees. To be fair the appetizers were fine but the dinners were ice cold, dry and over cooked. The traditional wings were a third of the size they used to be and the boneless were even smaller. There were no carrots or celery or ranch or blue cheese. Neither has there been the last thress times we went. No one came to ask us if the food was ok until after we were done. When we sent back what was not edible, we were asked if we wanted another order. Wait 30 minutes for disgusting food. I think not. Buffalo Wild Wings is a massive place to watch sports, drink some beers and eat some wings. They have a lot of beers and a lot of tasty sauces for their chicken. I like the big bar atmosphere here during games it's a fun time to drink and eat here. The flavors for their wings are pretty solid. Parmesan Garlic sauce for me is one of the best flavors while regular Buffalo is great too. Mango Habanero is tasty too but good grief that is some spicy sauce. I'm sure there are some folks who eat fire that would call me a wuss for thinking that Mango Habanero is super spicy! I do enjoy spicy food but when it's smothered on an order of wings it's going to make me sweat! The appetizers are pretty damn good here. They have these little pigs in a blanket that rock, cheese curds that are also fantastic and their pretzel bites are another hit. The pretzel bites come with a very tasty mustard sauce (can you tell I'm a sauce guy?). Fries are good, not life changing but hey they're good. I haven't been there in a while but I'm sure it hasn't changed too much. A lot of friendly pretty girls waiting the tables which earns extra points for an establishment geared towards game day snacking and drinking. It's always a nice plus to get a pretty smile with your food and service! There are two main gripes I have about this place. One of the issues I have is the wings themselves. I'm not a boneless wing type of guy; those are glorified chicken nuggets. Bone in flats and drums, those are REAL wings. The issue is these chickens seem stressed or something I don't know what it is. A lot of the time they don't have a lot of meat on them and they're small and sometimes dry. This is a huge letdown for a place that is named after chicken wings and has a slew of awesome sauces to compliment them. Like I said I haven't been here in quite some time but I used to go frequently with coworkers a while back and this was always my biggest issue. Sometimes they're tastier than others but generally not enough meat on them and sometimes too dry. The second thing that bugs me is the cost. This place is expensive for wings and finger foods. I feel like we're paying extra for the cable bills of all those television sets inside and pay per view shows. It's best to go with a few friends here rather than just a date, although a date here is okay too. Now the main reason I had to stop going here for so long is because whenever I would eat at this place I would get severely punished for it the next day. They say payback is a bitch but the brutal toilet session you will have the next day after eating here is close to legendary. I think bards far into the future will tell old folk songs of the torture that would ensue after a night out at Buffalo Wild Wings! Especially if you eat the spicy mango habanero or Wild wing flavors, let the lord be with you on that next day. At the very least keep a fire extinguisher ready for your rear end when it belches out Wild Wing flames, you'll thank me for that tip. read more

I observed the manager on two or three occasions reprimanding the employees in front of the customers. The managers first name is Robert. I usually sit at the Bar. He is very loud and obnoxious with the employees and I feel it is unprofessional and very uncomfortable environment while I'm trying to unwind and enjoy my visit. I used to work in the industry and this was not tolerated or acceptable. I'm gonna come to this establishment one more time to see if he is still employed and if he is it will be my last visit and I'm going to take it up to the corporate level or even the news if I don't see results. This is definitely a go to spot for me and my friends, especially on Tuesday's when they have the BOGO sale. We typically order the 30 traditional wings and get the other 30 wings free. Between the 4-5 of us we usually have some left over (depending on how hungry we are) with each of us paying no more than $25 each (including tips) once the bill is split. The service is very inconsistent - sometimes we get a great waitress and others we have a server who isn't that great. There is one male server is very smart and very passive that did give us a bad experience but since then we have not gotten him (thank god.) At times the food comes out very quick and other times it takes a while. Again, very inconsistent service but for the most part our experiences have been okay. They were having a New Year's special on their traditional buffalo wings on the bone, half off pricing for all of the sizes. We ordered a small size of wings which had 9 pieces, and blue cheese burgers with fries. I really enjoyed the meal. Didn't have any issues with the food, tasted fresh and came out in a timely manner. Our server was attentive, checking in on us a few times and was overall very nice. Since it's a sports bar, there's TVs mounted everywhere and it gets pretty loud of course. I don't frequent Buffalo Wild Wing's but my experience that night went well so I'd recommend stopping by. Maybe not on a regular basis but once in awhile never hurts. I know chain restaurants like these are a gamble and it's a hit or miss, but if you don't have the highest of expectations you'll probably have a decently good time. I love their Happy Hour specials and I love their wings, especially when those cravings hit. However, service here is extremely inconsistent and terrible for the most part. You come in seating yourself and you have to wait quite some time before a server comes to take your order and then another eternity for your order to come. Some of the servers here are respectful and attend to you in a timely manner with water, drinks, updates on the food, etc... but there are some that are utterly disrespectful and it makes you wonder why the heck are they even working here if they are so miserable and it shows in their attitudes and body language. We were served the app but were never given plates and forks and napkins during this time, even though our waitress promised to bring plates so we could at least over them. Plates never came and eventually she brought up napkins, and we ordered our entrees. My boyfriend had the philly cheesesteak which was aparently very spicy and overseasoned. I had a cheeseburger and it was bland - plus the waitress didnt even ask how I like my burger cooked (rare) and it was definitely not rare at all. And the trays the food was served on were stained with food from the previous diner (see photo). It took a long time to get another beer during dinner as well which is annoying when its the only beverage you have. Also, on the way home from dinner, my stomach was killing me - doesnt say much about the food quality. This is a place for finger foods and watching games so I guess I expected more. Finally seated, we waited literally 25 minutes for a server to come over. Her name was Aliyah, she was lovely and did apologize for the long wait. We weren't given water upon being seated, nor when we got our food. Apps took about 10 min to get and were good. We had the chips and salsa to start and mozzarella sticks. The girl who brought us our food was named Emily, she was a ray of sunshine *rolls eyes*. Clearly they need to hire better help. Buffalo Wild Wings has a ton of different flavors for the wings that can cover pretty much any preferences; I personally recommend the Parmesan Garlic. I've been to the BWW in Buffalo and in Brooklyn a few times and I'd have to say neither places compare to the one on SI. I've already been here twice and both experiences were memorable. The drinks came out right away (like it always should), and the food came out both times within 15 minutes after ordering. Be sure to come here on Tuesdays for 60 cent wings! Preferably a Tuesday during HH if you want to take advantage of wings, drinks & an early game. They also serve Leinenkugel draft which is a plus because it went really good with my favorite parmesean garlic wings - yum! If you're looking for wings flavor with a bit of heat - go for mango habanero or Asian zing - the Caribbean jerk wasn't that great. Also be sure to ask for carrots and celery & ranch/blue cheese for no additional charge (unlike some other places). Of course there are better wings places in NYC, but for a chain restaurant in SI with good/cheap bar food and better service than some fine dining restaurants, [so far] it deserves 5 stars. This place USED to be GREAT. Now it's ultra mediocre. There was an issue with orders not being communicated with the system, and our order had to be manually put in a second time. This was after 30 minutes of waiting and other patrons having the same issue. After the order having to be placed again, there was no further communication from my waiter. I waited at my table patiently, while people arrived after me and received their food right away. During our wait, many other patrons arrived to pickup their orders, which were also very backed up. When orders were brought out from the kitchen, the individuals working the counter did not call out names or try to communicate with people about their delayed orders. I had to ask the workers multiple times to read the names off the pickup order bags because they were not doing so. At one point, the lobby area for pickup was so crowded with people waiting for orders that it was difficult to move amongst the crowd, especially a concern during a pandemic. The workers were all uncooperative and shortstaffed, I can understand the stress and anxiety! And it seemed like the manager was not trying at all to apologize or resolve the issue. I left after waiting for 2 hours and didn't get my food. When a different customer asked to see a manager, the host very rudely put his hand to her face and said "we are very busy" which was exactly why the manager needed to be present. The manager never came out and the host was standing very unprofessionally at his stand eating bags of chips. This was a beyond terrible experience and I will not be a customer at this location ever again and it makes me never want to eat at any BWW location. Come on BWW. Do better :( read more
