UPDATE*****09/19/16***** I decided to give this location another shot, since I frequent my local B Dubs and plenty of others in the area. I didn't even get passed the entrance before I turned around and left. The entire place smelled rancid, like a high school boys locker room. I thought it was maybe just up front, but nope...I went to the bar area and it smelled terrible. The bathroom had a much more friendly scent to it. So disappointed. I frequent the area and would choose to use this location often if it were even close to feasible. I don't know how their standards could be so low. It's sad really. :( Original Post Below: Went there for their "Fast Break" lunch. Ordered Street Tacos off that menu. it took 40 minutes for my food to come out. The manager did come by at about the 30 minute mark and said they would be out right away. (still took another ten minutes). The food was as expected, not bad but a bit overpriced(someone has to pay for all those tv's!) The atmosphere was ok, but it feels a little cramped the way they did the layout. I frequent the Porters Neck Wilmington location and it feels much more open and inviting albeit it is a larger footprint. I understand things happen but a simple apology is not enough. At least the gesture of maybe taking the sweet tea off the bill, or a "come on back" gift card would have been nice, but no offer was made. The bar tender (I was sitting at the bar) was very empathetic, but I even said "that's what Yelp is for" with a chuckle, there was still nothing. I have them an opportunity to make it right but they dropped the ball. I paid the bill and reluctantly tipped as I normally would and turned to our friend Yelp to help make people aware that you need to keep low expectations. Clean, modern and plenty of TVs. Service is a hit or miss and the menu options are standard BWW fare. The addition of the fast break lunch is welcome, but the waitress had to be told to get us the official timer. Next time in, again not offered the timer and we didn't bother asking. The food came out fast both times (less than 10 or minutes), but its fun to challenge the clock and try to "win" a free lunch. Plenty of parking and modern clean bar area. There are limited options in the area, so this is a welcome addition for both lunch and dinner service. read more

We had a party of 8(4 adults and 4 children) and tried to get a table at 7:30 on a Saturday night. We were told that we would have to leave at 9:30 because our children were under 21 and they were going to start charging a cover fee for the fight on tv. It was supposed to be a 30 minute wait, so we figured we would have time to eat. A little before 8:00, they hostess announced to everyone that it was now a 45 minute wait and everyone who was currently waiting would be there past 9:00 and would have to pay the cover fee. I told her we had been waiting for at least 15 minutes and was told it would be 30 minutes. Her response was, "Well now it's a 45 minute wait." We didn't have the option to stay because we had children, so we either had to order take out, or leave the restaurant. We left and will not be going back to BWW in Smithfield. read more

Visited today to an almost empty restaurant to be told by a very unprofessional hostess named Candice with an aggressive demeanor that there was a 45 minute wait. It's a Sunday at 730pm. We explained we would just do takeout then and was also shown a sassy behavior whilst ordering. We then asked the lady how they would inform us the order was ready and she told us to "just stand there and wait and keep checking in" with her. We've always enjoyed bringing the family here and we will not be coming back anytime soon with this poor customer service. read more

My spouse and I ate here around a week ago and it was terrible. First, our waitress name was Courtney and the manager was Reid. I ordered a burger with no modifications, but the spouse ordered a burger with modifications due to major food allergy. Upon receiving our food, everything appeared correct. Quickly, we discovered my spouse begins to have an allergic reaction, and I see cilantro on it. We let the waitress know and she quickly informs Reid. Reid comes over and literally calls us liars about burger having cilantro. I became quite angry but kept my composure. I insisted it had cilantro (food allergy item) on burger and insisted they do something at once. We left literally moments later, the service was terrible and the food was terrible seeing it wasn't made right resulting in a visit to the hospital and a couple prescriptions. **Spoke with CSM, he informed me he would address this, but I must admit I am in doubt this establishment has the capabilities to perform simple communication tasks let alone truly addressing the issue at task.** read more

Customer service was interesting. Hardly saw our waitress. When we did, she was pitching some promotion for the establishment that she stated she didn't want to do, which then led into her complaint about having to work Halloween and not being with her kids, to then telling us her sob story about how her husband left her, and she has no money. I didn't want to give her tip, but we did. Before even leaving the table, she was very rude taking our plates and collecting her tip in silence. We saw other waitresses that seemed more attentive to helping us than who we had. Food was okay. Ambiance killed it though and made it very frustrating. However, we did have wings, and it wasn't as bad as others have complained going in on Halloween night/Thursday night. Never had an experience like this at any Buffalo Wild Wings let alone another establishment though. Much of the staff seemed very unhappy and miserable in general. Wish I could give negative stars. Slow service and awful food BUT what really made the experience here negative was the cockroach crawling around our food on the patio. After letting the server know, an apology was given and that is all. When we requested the manager he questioned us about the cockroach and asked it it was a hornet or a waterbug from the nearby swamp. He offered no apology and asked us to show it to him when the waitress had previously taken the cockroach from our table. He then said he would take it up with her and never returned. When we asked the waitress if we could get a discount or any kind of apology, she stated "the manager said No". Needless to say her tip was nonexistent (even though this was not her fault). First impression, 30 minute wait with several empty tables, a calling card for bad service. This bww has been up to this for months. Wait staff once ingadged is friendly and helpful but don't work as a team. The new menu is a different layout but the food choices are there same. I ordered my go to Buffalo blue burger, favorite in many chain restaurants. This time however it was a Cobbled together mess, burnt gross, the Patty wasn't even whole, it was broken garbage. I sent it back for replacement and got a a replica of the same terrible burger. As i write this review I cringe awaiting the loose stool that is sure to follow. Fuck bww, fuck you. It was the worse experience. We were a party of 20 and they sat us outside and keep in mind it was freezing cold but they had told us the heaters were working but we then realized it wasn't. We had spoken to the head manager there and asked if we could sit inside due to cold weather and heaters not working. She told us no , if we are a party of 20 we have to sit outside when there were plenty of tables inside empty. We had two newborn babies and they rejected them to sit inside and made us stay outside. We also waiting an hour and half for the food. The waiter was a sweet heart , she tried her best to move us inside but the manager told her NO. The manager seemed like she didn't give a shit about the situation even when we had two babies with us. I took my family here for lunch on May 27th, 2021.We ordered our drinks which included beer and two shots of Jack Daniels honey, our appetizers and lunch selections which included the Philly cheesesteak in a wrap instead of a sandwich which I had done before. They bought our beer out and informed us that they only had one shot left of the Jack Daniels honey which we accepted. Upon bringing our meals out, the server dropped one of the extra ranch dressings we ordered and my Philly cheesesteak came out in a bun instead of the wrap which I ate rather than waiting. We finished our meal, asked for the check, paid the check, and the sauce remained on the floor as did the plates on the table of our finished meals. After paying for the check which included a 35% gratuity, I noticed that we had paid for two shots rather than one. I called our server over to the table to explain the error and also included the situation of the spilled sauce. After being at our table for almost 5 minutes discussing her future plans to attend school, she again walked away without removing any of the finished plates. Upset and disappointed my family left and after waiting for an additional five minutes, the server returned and explained that the manager told her I would have to be charged an additional $3.50 for The shot of tequila since it was more expensive and offered me a shot of JD instead. Dumbfounded and overly frustrated, I excepted the shot of JD and left the establishment. Wow! Whatever happened to customer service? I recently had dinner at this establishment and because of my server it was definitely an awesome experience. The atmosphere was upbeat for the most part although a lot of the servers were VERY Lazy and unprofessional. Seemed they were either on their phones or or having inappropriate conversations, I never seen my server use or even reach for her phone, she kept tea full, very good customer service skills. She stayed busy the entire time and was through it her service for me and my family...I want to say thank you for the great experience And I will be back..almost forgot to mention her name, Sonya, definitely one of the best servers I've ever had. read more

The hubby, myself and baby cub decided to grab a bite to eat after doing some shopping at the outlets. We were seated rather quickly for it to be a Saturday night, which was a shocker for BDubs. The waitress was very sweet and prompt. The reason for the 3 stars is because they really need to work on food orders and time management. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, then she came back and took our orders for our entrees. I requested that if my son's food is complete before ours to bring it out first. Well that was done timely and our entrees came out soon after. Mind you we NEVER received our appetizer. I brought it to our waitress' attention and she went to check on it. Only to bring it out and it was COLD. So, apparently it had been sitting out for awhile. I politely told her it was cold and that we no longer wanted it because we were already eating our food. It is an average Buffalo Wild Wings. The restaurant is Clean, Sporty, and has nice servers! They have tons of sauce and dry rub choices to choose from for their wings, fries, and other menu items. We love our BWW but this location needs a lot of work. We were seated and waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Placed our drink orders and at the same time our child let the waiter know what he wanted to eat. Waiter left, didn't even give us a chance to order our food. About 20 minutes later our drinks and our child's food came out and we still hadn't even ordered our food yet. Once we finally were able to place our order we waited for about 45 minutes for our food. All in all the service was so painfully slow. A quick lunch turned into 2+ hours just for some cold wings. The manager never once checked on us even though she frequently walked by us. The waiter was very nice and apologetic but seemed very overwhelmed while many of the other staff were just standing around chatting with each other. To the female manager, you really need to pay attention to the surroundings of what all your staff is doing and NOT doing and how long your patrons are waiting for 2 small orders of wings. Out of all the BWW we have been to and we have been to ALOT, this one is by far the worst. I would hate to see what a dinner rush would be like at this establishment. read more

We moved here in September of 2018 and were looking for a spot to call "home" and we found it! The staff are excellent here. Michael, the hospitality manager is great. He always greets us by name and makes us feel at home. Brittany, one of the shift managers is awesome! She is funny and always makes a point to come over and talk to us about our day . The wait staff are very attentive and make sure our needs are met. We love this place and if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it and if you have and had a bad experience, please give it another shot! read more
