    Burger w/ Sweet Potato Fries

It's ok for what it is. A dive bar with food ya know. They have .50¢ PBR's on Thursdays so that's a plus for beer drinkers. The hours are until 11pm so after that you'd have to find somewhere else to enjoy your evening. The staff changes often which is normal for a bar I suppose. Pool tables, a DJ or band on weekends, and corn hole out back. If you're in the area stop by to see for yourself.

The Buffalo Chicken Egg rolls were delish and the bottled beer was nice and cold! Stopped in for a bite to eat and was not disappointed.

The food and service were great, and they probably need more staff as the locals have spoken-- they love it and are continually streaming in! I tried the beef tacos, queso fundido (the star) , and Guac. All were tasty and should be noted by me forgetting to get a photo before devouring. Again, I'm all in on this spot and will return as soon as possible.

I was expecting a typical indoor sit down spot. Instead, you order inside, but there are only a few bar-style tables indoors and no real seating. Most of the seating is outside on the patio, maybe four or five tables total. It was a little chilly that day, but nothing we couldn't tolerate. Honestly, if I had dressed smarter, meaning not shorts, a t-shirt, and slippahs (or chanclas in this case), which honestly would've fit the vibe here, I would have been completely fine. The food was excellent. I didn't take any photos because I immediately dug in. Everyone ordered tacos with all the usual fixings, and even the kids were happy, which is always a good sign. The kids went with beef tacos, and my wife and I both ordered tacos al pastor. They were flavorful, well cooked, and easily the highlight of the meal. Portion-wise, I'd recommend at least three tacos. Four was perfect for me, and five had me completely stuffed. The reason I'm landing at four stars instead of five comes down to two things. Most of the seating being outdoors limits this place on colder or rainy days, and there was no beer available, which felt like a missed opportunity for a taco spot. I think they may have wine or sangria, but tacos without a cold beer just feels wrong. Overall, Tacos Oaxaca absolutely lives up to the hype. Great food, simple setup, and a place I'll gladly return to, just maybe on a warmer day.

After running errands, we drove just six minutes to El Chapin, a Guatemalan restaurant. Forget Tex-Mex--this is a completely different Latin cuisine experience. The two of us spent $76 (including tax and tip), but we intentionally ordered extra to take home leftovers. Parking was easy, right out front, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and very helpful--the server even suggested we might have ordered too much food (he was right, but we didn't mind!). Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. Pollo Adobado - marinated chicken with rice, salad, refried black beans and two housemade corn tortillas . Ceviche de Camarón - fresh and tangy, though light on shrimp, which tasted a bit tough Fried Plantains - perfectly done, sweet, and satisfying. Plus, I had an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.
