This is my go to Mexican spot. The atmosphere is great along with the service. I've never had a bad meal. Margaritas are wonderful too.

Overcooked, overpriced, way too much grease, bland, and poor service. Was over-charged by server who added an additional tip on-top of the 20% I left. I had to argue with the manager in order to get my refund. My date ordered the prime rib. It was cooked to black, even though we ask for rare. My plate was so inedible and so greasy it was floating in oil. I asked for the grilled chicken with black beans hoping for something healthy instead I got fried chicken with black beans with three scoops of oil and Crisco on top rice, floating, and oil and tortilla chips scattered on the plate. If your idea of good food is to have something that has more calories in oil in it then a bucket of fried chicken cooked and lard, then this is the restaurant for you. read more

The place was nice and the service was good and fast but if you're looking for good Mexican food this is not the place. My shrimp ceviche was very chewy and had a sweet taste to it. The casa birria tacos were soft, the enchiladas were not good but the salsa and chips were tasty. I will not be coming back here unless it's to try the alcoholic beverage. Best Mexican place I've tried in a long time! No wait even though it was packed. This place has lots of seating to accommodate you. The Ay Wey Pollo was DELICIOUS! It was so flavorful that even when I got full, I didn't want to stop eating! It was great as leftovers too. My husband got the Parradilla(?) and he said it was tasty too. The menu is honestly a bit pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants but it's so worth it in my opinion. I can't wait to go back! read more

Why aren't there more reviews for this restaurant? This was absolutely delicious! ... add the friendly service & lunch was perfect! I had the spicy steak tacos with street corn - delicious & well spiced. Strawberry Margarita was good, too. Equally delightful was our server, Paola. She was so friendly- especially notable since we needed to sit outside, but the outdoor seating was not really open. She was helpful in cleaning the table & chairs & served us quickly. Stopped here while driving home from vacation. My wife was in the mood for Mexican food so I asked at the desk in our hotel. They both answered At Wey , they told me it was about a 15 minute ride but worth it . They were not wrong, we were greeted like we had been there since the day it opened, food was amazing and large portions. We will definitely stop again on our next trip. read more

At lunch here today, ordered from lunch menu. I asked for water to drink. My food was brought quickly, by someone other than the person who took my order. I waited a while to try this place out because it was always packed to the brim with cars. I was able to go on a slow night to which I was seated at the bar being that I was alone and it was insisted so I didn't push back. The Bartender was nice as she made my drinks to order and I was the only person sitting there so she was "overly attentive" sure nothing wrong with that and someone would love it but it was bit much after she kept asking me to order food. I mainly came to check the scene and to see how the place was. She was very persistent about my ordering which is cool but it was only 8:30, they close at 10. I ordered what I normally get at another spot to compare and let just say I'm never cheating again! As you can see in the photo these chimichangas were mostly tortilla, the beans had a ton of juice, & the guac isn't made to order as it has that sitting color if that makes sense. The price point does not match for what I was given as mine were made in the skinny version (I only prefer drinks made this way lol). Let it be noted that I didn't eat the main course until I got home but only ate the salad portion in the restaurant. I think this place is more for esthetics and not primarily food focused as one would hope. Overall I came to do what I did and that will be the only time I do. Try it for yourself as we are all not the same but speaking locally this city loves to have multiples of every single thing so of course this is a big hit. read more

This was a very good Mexican restaurant. My dish was on point, we loved everything we ordered. I ordered the tacos Al pastor and they are so generous with the meat and cilantro and onions. The meat was tender and the little pieces of pineapple in the tacos Al pastor just took it up another notch. My kids loved the rice and beans. The guacamole was delish and so was the fresh crispy tortilla chips. My husband and loved the pineapple Argua fresca. The service was fast and our waitress was very attentive, every time she past by our table she would grab our empty cups and refill them with the same drinks without having to let her know. The ambiance felt welcoming and decorated so nicely. Very nice family friendly or great girls night restaurant. If you are in the area and want great food with good service this is the place you don't want to miss. read more

Me and my wife came from church and decided to eat here. The food was tasteless, nasty, and sweet tea tasted like peach tea, which isn't bad but not what I wanted with my meal, so I ordered a Dr Pepper, didn't taste good at all. Like a carbonated drink with a tiny bit of syrup. The salsa is tasteless itself which is strange. The service was whatever, not bad but not great. It wasn't busy or anything she did the bare minimum nothing special. I had ordered a Carnita taco and it came fairly quickly! The taco itself however was tasteless and sickening, I can see how a certain group of people really like it. It tasted like some really cheap boiled pulled pork. No flavor or anything. I ate one taco in hopes of maybe it will taste better. I even added the salsa since it tasted very lime-y to try and improve the flavor. I thought with my dish it was supposed to be a "green sauce" coming with it- nothing. now, to the rice and beans. The rice was okay nothing special- tasted like nothing. The beans were nothing special they were probably the most flavorful item I had. However, it's super cute inside so that's why I give it two stars. Maybe the cooks were just having a bad day or so. This restaurant has just recently re-opened. They are directly across the street from their old location, different name but same owners. We are so glad our favorite Mexican Restaurant has finally reopened. Today service was beyond amazing. We were asked by multiple employees if everything is ok, did we need anything. I really like this place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is above average for Mexican food in this area. The cheese dips are so good, like the Cancun with spicy beef and the other one with chorizo. When I go alone, I sit at the bar and I have a great time.
