Caritas, chicken and shrimp tacos.
Kelly M.

I like this place because it's authentic, not American-ized food. I'm the only non-hispanic in the place. I ordered shrimp, chicken, and carnitas tacos. 3.99 for 4 small shrimp is a bit pricey for that taco, and the corn tortillas not doubled up. So eating with a fork as it tore immediately from the sauces. Shrimp was OK, chicken better, but the flavor was in the carnitas. They offer a salsa toppings bar but not self-service. Add lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Other toppings as cheese, sour cream, salsa, for a price. A lime piece for each one adds nice citrus touch. I'm glad it's local, so I don't have to drive to Raleigh for authentic Latin American/ Hispanic food. Saw other items on the menu I'd like to try.

I stopped in for a late lunch here. Ordered the birria tacos. They were very good. Came with cilantro, onion and fresh lime on the plate. I probably would order extra cheese when I go back. Really good authentic Mexican food and excellent service.

We stopped here on a road trip and boy were we happy about it! This is authentic Mexican food. We had the Birria Tacos, one chicken pupusa, and a chicken burrito. Everything was delicious! The space is well kept, we didn't have a long wait. We ordered at the counter and grabbed a table. Everything came out in good time and hot. Prices are fair and . 10/10 would eat here again

This place is small up front but packs GIGANTIC flavors. The food is made fresh to order with friendly staff. I enjoy this establishment on each occasion. I purchase the steak nachos, chicken burrito for my daughters and the tacos for my son. Everyone enjoys. Thank you for this opportunity to share our experience.

Food was Garbage we ordered nachos which you would think would come with melted cheese they put mozzarella cheese on the nachos and handed it to us cold horrible would not recommend this for anybody not even homeless people i'm gonna post a picture of REAL NACHOS these nachos do not belong to this crap hole

Chicken pupusa

Guacamole Latin Grill cooks authentic Hispanic food that is tasty and reasonably priced. I tried the Birria(fried pork-Al Pastor & cheese tacos) with cilantro & onions. I also got one Chicken Pupusa. All very tasty.

I had to re-plate the pupusa plate for the photo because esthetics. I think the photo speaks for itself. I've seen this for a year or however long it's been around and now I know why I never stopped. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Birria shredded beef? The one star comes from the juice that we drank.

Tacos (1 steak, 1 chicken) Pususa (1 Steak, 1 chicken) and small salad.

This was my first time to this Latin Grill. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised at the selection on the menu. I had 1 steak and 1 chicken taco, and tried the pupusa. All of these were excellent. Never had that type of crunchiness in a taco before but it was delicious. A must try if you are ever in the Dunn area.

So happy I found this place! It's a little wait but worth it. Don't be off put by the surrounding area lol & The lady was nice at the front. -I ordered the fried fish, (the rice was yellow rice not the same as the picture advertised) nonetheless EXCELLENT pick on my part lol. There was also onions inside of it. The salad tasted fresh! -My son got cheese, chicken, pork pupusas (he only got through one pupusa) of course my fiancé and I tried it lol he says they are better than our regular pupusa spot in Fayetteville it's a little crispier and tastes better. -My fiancé got carne tostadas. Very good. There's a tv so it kept us pretty entertained while we waited watching gags and pranks. They have glass bottled Coca Cola and a bottle opener I thought was a neat touch. I read from the reviews there's horchata so I'll be back to try it lol. When the food comes out you get to pick out your sauces and extra garnishes. Lime was a must along with pickled cabbage and cilantro! I had to order Tomato sauce for the pupusas. The mild verde sauce was great! Not so much for my fiancé lol. They only had fork silverware. EVERYTHING tasted absolutely FRESH. Except the guacamole. Let's just say I would not order guacamole from Guacamole Latin Grill. I'm starting to see a trend in this area with this kind of guacamole and I hope it changes. I will update my review if they "make" better guac. The nachos looked like the kind you order at the movies... we just ended up trashing the whole thing. Not to mention it came out after our main food. Overall, I will DEFINITELY, be back and very happy Bc it's close choice and open on a holiday.

I'm coming from Raleigh area and I was craving tortas de pollo and this place popped up on yelp. I'm very familiar with authentic Mexican food so I chose a place to eat accordingly. Staff here is very nice. No complaints, but they did NOT have guacamole The staff that were assisting with my order were bilingual (fluent English & Spanish) ... if you're worried about that. I understand both so it was no problem. If I'm passing through the area again, I am DEFINITELY stopping here!

We didn't like the food. The guacamole was watery. We like chunky guacamole. We're not into Central American or South American cuisine.

More traditional food, not like the tex-mex you get at mi casitas. Fast, cheap, and good.

Amazing people and amazing food. Great place to come with friends or family for an enjoyable meal…read morein a great atmosphere.

Gosh I really wanted to love this place. I'm genuinely happy to see the cuisine they're bringing to…read morethe community, along with the events they're hosting and the sense of togetherness they're fostering in the area. The standalone building is nice, the location is convenient (albeit hidden), and there's plenty of parking spots. Inside and outside, there's lots of space, including a lovely outdoor deck and large dining area. The atmosphere is beautiful (Instagrammable! ) and spacious, and I could see this being a great spot for an intimate date or a larger group. There's also a great variety of food and drink options. That said, the food was pretty mid for me. The beef empanadas with the three sauces were delicious & definitely something I would order again. Unfortunately, the mofongo with skirt steak was a major disappointment. The mofongo/trifongo itself was good, but the skirt steak was overcooked, extremely rubbery, and lacked any real sauce or marinade. It honestly tasted almost microwaved. I couldn't even bring myself to take the leftovers home for my dog. What made that even more disappointing was the price. Two entrées and one $8 order of beef empanadas came out to almost $90, and we were only drinking water. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and provided good service, so I don't fault her at all. But paying nearly $90 for a meal where I barely ate the vegetables or protein left me feeling like I paid $90 for water and smashed plantains. I don't normally leave a less-than-stellar review after just one visit, especially when I really want to support a local business. However, I've also heard similar experiences from other people I know, where something about their meal was off-putting for one reason or another. I'll definitely come back for drinks, appetizers, the outdoor space, and community events, because I really do want to support what they're building here in Greenville. I just probably won't be ordering an entrée again unless I hear that the food has improved. But There's a lot to like about this place & I hope others give it an honest chance. ! I just wish the food had matched the atmosphere and the vision for me.
