We came to watch college football with a couple friends (6 of us). Sat for 15-20 min before we had someone come to our table (someone who wasn't even our server) and bring us menus. She told us that they were really busy, despite half the restaurant being full and having multiple servers. We ordered drinks. Waited about 20 more minutes, as we were discussing leaving and going somewhere else, and then our server came and asked for food orders. We decided to order because my husband really wanted the chicken parm sub. The server said "do you guys know what you want? I've given you about 40 minutes to decide". Not an exaggeration. We ordered apps and wings. Apps came and the food tasted like it had been sitting for a while. They put the mozzarella cheese on top of the bun of the sub instead of inside the bun? We sat without napkins and silverware so I finally went up to the bar and asked for some. Once we were done we asked for boxes. She asked how we were splitting checks and we told her. She had to come back to our table and ask everyone what they ordered again. Never brought us boxes. Brought us our checks and said "thank you, bye". UNBELIEVABLY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the bacon smashed hatch chile burger... what I received is NOT what I expected... as you can see in the picture you can see why. The taste was just as lackluster as the appearance. For one... there was NO bacon... there was hardly any sauce or chile's on it. The only bites that had flavor were the first 2 or 3. The rest were just that of a bland greasy cheese burger. Honestly... I would go to Wendy's before going here and spending $14 for this trash. We've been to a lot of BWW around the country, but this one took the cake. It was busy, Ohio v Michigan game day, and we were still sat quickly. The food was on point, and the place clean. But the real star was our server Noa. She was absolutely amazing. Attentive but not in an annoying way. She never placed anything in front of our toddler, but made sure to bring his food quickly. At first, they were very uptight about how many tables could be pushed together and how they were going to bill us, etc to the point that we almost left. Came in to watch some football and stood up front for 15 minutes with no workers around. There were no signs stating wait to be seated or seat yourself so I walked to the bar to ask the bartender. As I was waiting at the bar to ask the bartender, the hostess finally showed up and started yelling at me that it's not seat yourself and there's a wait. If you don't want people walking around, a sign or a hostess at the entrance would be nice. No reason to yell at a customer who is trying to see what the process is when there is no signage or people at the front desk. The waitress and food were good but the disorganization and poor treatment at the entrance left me extremely disappointed. read more

About 5 minutes later our waitress comes over after being told she hasnt seen us yet, we order our entire order, Ultimate nachos no pickled hot pepper with brisket it barely had any brisket and we didnt get the small plates to share an appetizer. We had to wait around 10 more minutes to get our drinks, silverware and our napkins. Waited til 5:40 to get most of our food, the wings barely had any sauce on them, and still had to wait for our onion rings. I wouldn't normally take time to review a BW3 because in my experience they're pretty much consistent. But based on the number of recent horrible reviews I thought I'd share our experience. Went in at 6pm on a weeknight and were seated right away. Service was great, our order was correct (though one dish was lukewarm, which the server quickly had addressed by the manager) and we left fat & happy. I will note that a lot of Yelp & Google reviews I've seen for this location talked about carryout & delivery orders being incorrect, or waiting forever for food. Our experience was this: 1) It got MUCH busier at 7pm. Our server said last week they only had 1 cook show up in the kitchen so you're probably better off going earlier, and 2) this location had a sign posted that they're temporarily not taking carryout or delivery orders. I assume this is corporate's way of forcing them to focus on better dine-in service. I appreciate the previous reviews because they let us walk in with one eye on walking out if things started going sideways. Luckily that didn't happen and I hope they're turning the corner. read more

In town for a softball tourney. I saw the reviews weren't that great but figured that it's BW3 and we go there all the time so it can't be all that bad. Boy was I wrong! Everything everyone else said is spot on. Service was slow and not all that great. Food was blah. I ordered a side Caesar salad that was drowning in dressing and they had the nerve to put more dressing on the side! I had finished my buffalo chicken sandwich (which was fried to a hard crunchy crisp) before the server even came back to the table. I told him the salad was WAY overdressed. He said he noticed that and asked if I wanted another one. I promptly said "no" then I had to ask HIM to have it removed from my bill. In his defense it's not his fault how the food is prepared but he could have been more attentive if you see an overdressed soggy salad with dressing on the side don't bring it to the table. My husband saw the server asking the manager to remove the salad from our bill. She looked over at our table and promptly removed it but didn't come over at all to check on us. Apparently she had already been given an earful by another customer and probably wasn't up for anymore complaints per my husband who witnessed the prior conversation with the other unhappy customer. We're from Michigan so I doubt we will be back but it's too bad. We normally enjoy BW3 and felt like it was a safe alternative. I guess not. read more

A vendor that I work with booked a private room for an event. His assistant confirmed 3 times, since they are based in Minnesota. When he showed up, they had no idea. Apparently the manager did not inform the staff. Thankfully, the room was empty. We had to put the booths back together as they were using them for storage. There should have been 2 servers. It took forever to get beers and food. I was one of the first to order and one of the last to get my food. They should have a napkin dispenser on the table, especially when you serve chicken wings. I'm not a fan of BW3. I think they are overpriced. I would rather go to Roosters! read more

My family has visited this location several times and never had a bad experience. Servers were nice, quick and the food was amazing. We came from a long day at Cedar Point with 2 kids, that were starving. Unlike the Applebee's down the street that doesn't believe in sending meals out at different times. One of our favorite restaurants. Everything changed July 13th, most of the places were closed to be so close to a amusement and water park. Around 10 p.m we were seated at a table, it wasn't really busy but had a decent Saturday night crowd. Our sister who hardly eats meat ordered a quesadilla, excited and our cousin who ordered the same plus cheese sticks. My husband and I ordered cheese curds and a large boneless wing with sauce on the side (you get fresh wings 99% of the time but get skimped on sauce). The cheese sticks came out within 10 mins and were hot. We quickly finish the appetizer and talk, 20 mins come past nothing. Soon it's close to 11 and still no food. We flagged down our waitress and asked why have we been waiting so long. She told us food is 45-60 min wait and the host should've told us. Confused because they don't close until 2 and it wasn't busy. There were so many waitresses they were over staffed. No refills on water, napkins or extra trays for sharing, just the paper ones nothing fancy. An hour and 15 mins passed, finally we get our food. Starving they start to eat the quesadilla and instantly looked upset. It was hard, cold and horrible. The chicken was fresh and sauce was on the side. We never got our cheese curds. So my husband told our waitress we ordered cheese curds, our toddler loves them it's the first thing we ordered. She sad oh nah you didn't, I don't see it on your order and walked off. She came back and asked did we want them, of course not we've been here 138 mins at this point no point of waiting another hour. Our sister and cousin stopped eating, couldn't get past a few bites. She asked our waitress for the manager, she quickly came back and said she's busy with another table right now. Red flag! Manager was so busy because of all the issues with other tables not just us. Our cousin walks to the restroom and overheard our waitress talking crap about us. Calling my husband and f*cking liar about the cheese curds. She turned back around as the manager approached our table. She told the manager straight up, visibly upset that our waitress talked crap about our family over cheese curds. It's disgusting, she never cleared our table. The manager clearly embarrassed but not surprised, we talked about the food being terrible showing the manager the quesadillas. All the way from Michigan to be treated in a bad way. They never ate, the whole way back. Since they aren't into fried chicken our efforts to let them eat ours didn't work. Everything was closed at this point. The manager told us everything was free. For the first time ever, in history we didn't leave a tip. Our waitress was bad to begin with and that situation made it worse. We talked this place up just to get talked about. Other waitresses quickly heard about it and apologized as we were exiting. I never want to return to this place. Funny because we are all ex servers and were going to leave $80 in tips on a order less than $40. She blew it and no free food would want me to come back there. It's just Buffalo Wings to me, they didn't have wild sauce so it's just Buffalo in Sandusky. Red flag! The restaurant has a decent crowd, hardly any tables around you have any food just low drinks. Red flag! You hardly see your server while you see others constantly checking on their tables. Red flag! You don't get basics like utensils, napkins, refills or extra trays. Red flag! My girlfriend and I stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings on the way to the Kalahari Resort hosting the event Colossal Con. This will be known as a case of "the food was good but the service was lacking (sucked)" We both ordered boneless wings ( gotta love the boneless Thursdays) and two cokes. Our order was taken in a timely manner, our food was brought out to us in a timely manner, but after that we only saw the waitress when it was time to flag her down to get the check. The waitress never stopped back to give us refills, and never stopped by to check on us periodically. I am a fan of the franchise, so I'll probably go back the next time I am in town but hopefully we get a different server. read more
