MAJOR UPSET When a #15 seed bests a #2 in NCAA March Madness, it's shocking. When B-dubs forgets my entire order of wings, it's heartbreaking. In an attempt to distance myself from the dumpster fire that's been the Plainfield Buffalo Wild Wings, I've ventured out to find other sources of saucy chicken. Romeoville's Bdubs is tucked back a bit from Weber Rd, about 2-1/2 miles south of I-55. Unusual for a Bdubs, this one isn't a standalone building. We placed a large order the other night, and I was happy to cash in 2,000 hard-earned rewards points for a house sampler (loaded nachos, onion rings, mozza stix, boneless wings). My wife mentioned that a few of her wings looked like they came off of a sparrow, and half of them hadn't even been grazed by sauce. When it came to my 12 boneless wings, they were nowhere to be found. What we got instead was a medium order of their bullsh*t french fries, some of the lousiest restaurant fries in existence. The printed ticket was correct, but the contents of the bag were all jacked up. Places that are run well typically have a carryout person check/initial every order before it goes out the door, which clearly didn't happen here. After I called to complain, a manager vowed they'd give me a "food credit" under my name on a future visit, but that does nothing to help me now. * TL;DR * Seriously, what the flippity fuqq is going on with Buffalo Wild Wings recently?? This is the second or third (or fourth, I've honestly lost count) consecutive visit at an area Bdubs where something was amiss with our carryout order. I figured the Romeoville Bdubs couldn't mangle things as badly as the yahoos at the Plainfield Bdubs, but I was w-r-o-n-g. Suffice it to say, I was pretty distraught when I got home and discovered that I would not, in fact, be enjoying hot wings with a cold beer and college hoops. Food is normal for Buffalo Wild Wings. The service is so slow. I think there is likely a lack of kitchen staff or just not enough servers. Management needs to take this seriously and make a change because it seriously decreases the quality of this restaurant. We stopped by the restaurant for a quick drink at the bar. There was limited parking in front of the restaurant, but once inside, it didn't seem as busy as it looked outside. We were promptly greeted and walked ourselves to the open bar towards the back. Our server stopped by to introduce himself quickly.
