The server was great, prompt, and friendly. The food was decent ( l tried the chicken parm sandwich and didn't really like it but that wasn't anyone else's fault). The nacho app was delicious and the garlic honey wings were awesome! My kids and husband also enjoyed their meals! It's your typical bdubs experience. Lots of sports on tvs . The one thing I knocked points for, and this happens to me every time I come here, is the hostess is always slow to seat us. Waited another 45 minutes for appetizer and was told other food would be out shortly. Watched other tables get their food but ours did not. After an hour we asked for our check and left. Boooooooo! I have had terrible experiences with every BDubs I've been to but for some inexplicable reason I was hoping this location would be different. First and last time at the Norfolk BDubs. Placed a to go order. Still sitting in the lobby 45 minutes past my pick up time which is a total of an hour and 15 minutes. I've seen/spoken to wait staff once in that 45 minutes which is nuts to me. I don't mind waiting an hour. I mind waiting an hour with zero communication. Save your frustration and go to Wing Stop. Amazing food and 100% positive experiences. They are further away which is why I came here but lesson learned. I'll be taking the time to go to Wing Stop next time. read more

Awful service. Every single time I come in there's never anyone at the hostess stand or takeout counter. After standing around for a few minutes a gentlemen on the phone (using vulgar language) walked over and asked me what my name was for my takeout order. When I got home with my order everything was ice cold. I made it a point to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time to ensure my food was hot when I got it. They left out all the ranch I put on my order and gave me the wrong wings. When I called they said I'd have to bring my food all the way back just so they can see that and remake it. Where should I start? I've been here a total of 3 times, every time the service is slow. To say this restaurant if awful is an understatement. It is an abomination to the Lord. We waiting for what felt like eons ( it was actually closer to 45 minutes LOL, but still inexcusable). The man next to us got a beer and his food before we even got waited on, and he got there after us. I do not like to throw the sex card around, but I can't help but think that it's because i'm a women. Come on y'all it's 2022 women should be able to get beer and wings with out having to wait longer than a man. Food is standard b-dubs food, no issues, and it's why there are two stars. First time we went, waitress took over 15 minutes to greet us at the table and we were there for 30 min before getting our first drinks. At one point the hostess came over to ask if we had been waited on but she didn't do anything else to help. Our order for two people took a really long time and our second round of drinks never arrived because they were forgotten entirely. Our second trip was short, because after sitting at the table for 10 minutes without a waitress we left. Contemplated moving to the bar for faster service, but there wasn't a bartender present either. But today it took an hour to get our food after we ordered because our ,who we will not name publicly, forgot to put it in and had to come back to ask what we ordered. we finally got our food 20 minutes later to go because we were tired of sitting there with our 2 children and the rest of our family had to get going. We talked to the manager about it and all she could say was that the server was just having a bad day. she offered to run the ticket for us and ran it for full price and wished us a good day. We came in for dinner around 5:30 and not many people were eating at the time. Took awhile to get our food, food wasn't very good nor warm, and they couldn't even bring us plates to eat our wings- just put all our wings on one big platter and we had to reach with our forks to eat them. Very unsatisfied! Called and ordered for pickup, they said it would be 20-25 minutes and we got there about 30 minutes after I called. The kids meal was missing the drink and side, the onion rings tasted like dirty grill and old grease in the fryer, the southwest philly cheese steak sandwich was not good; the bun was dry, meat was overly greasy, and it tasted like hell! I called to speak with a manager and he asked if I could come back in for the rest of the kids meal, I said not tonight, he said the good thing was I didn't have to pay for the side and drink since it was included in the kids meal... This is not my first visit to a Buffalo Wild Wings!!! My son and I decided to try out Norfolk's new BW3's on its opening day!!! So excited to see this come to Norfolk! Once we were sat at our table, our order was taken about 3 minutes later the waitress returned to the table and notified me that this special that I had ordered on the on the menu given to me was no longer was no longer valid and had ended about 10 minutes ago! I thought this seemed a little crazy that they would give people a menu with items not available!! This in turn caused my meal to go from $7.99 for this special to $8.49 for the boneless snack + $3.69 for the buffalo chips!!! So my entire meal went from $7.99 to $12.18! I just think management should be been notified and I was very clear that this upset me! However I will also say that the food was very good and it was very fresh! I just think there's a few other things that they could work on to make this restaurant a better place! read more

Last time my husband and I dined in we said it would be our last time. We tried take out and will never be giving them another chance. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. When I hung up and called back the lady was very rude and said "what do you want." The phone then disconnected. I never called back and will never be giving them my service again. read more

If you like the franchise than this location is like any other, but I think I have gone to my last one. For the longest time when I traveled, I would stop in for some wings coated in a dry rub and a cocktail. Lately the wings have come out practically bare and the drinks are getting lite. They give you one small dressing no matter how many wings you order and always forget the celery and carrots after asking you if you want them. The sad part is it doesn't matter what town I am in. There were some issue at the beginning of its opening but the staff is fantastic and the food is perfect. The sever I had was very fast and friendly. Kind of expensive but definitely worth it. Best sports bar in town and best place to watch the game or drink a beer. read more

We were with a group of about 12 people and we tried to call for reservations or to give them a heads up that a larger group was coming in, but their phone system wasn't working. When we arrived, there were several open tables but we waited a long time to be sat. Drinks and food took forever....from the time we sat down until we paid for our food and drinks, we were there 3 hours. The worst part was waiting for our checks-it took almost 1.5 hours to pay for food and leave. We will never go back. The managers and wait staff stood around and everyone was confused. We've tried several times to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings since they opened their Norfolk location and each time there's been a 30 minute wait. We've tried making reservations, they don't take reservations. Today we finally ordered take out to pick up and eat at home, and boy were we sadly disappointed. $37 we paid for 3 small orders of boneless wings and one fry. They were all supposed to come with carrots, ranch, or celery. We got NONE of those extras. The fry order was tiny. With no dipping sauces or veggies I thought this was ridiculous. The wings had LITTLE TO NO sauce on them. I also was hung up on or "disconnected" while making the order and had to call back to confirm that the order was even placed. read more
