Chicken was dry in the enchilada. I cant recall a time I have ever had corn, lima beans and peas in Spanish rice, am I mistaken? I believe businesses should have ceiling fans, restaurants for sure, and this place absolutely. Its super hot right now in town and it was almost just as bad siting inside as if I were outside. I ordered off the ala carte menu, a shrimp taco, cheese enchilada along with rice and beans. Back where I come from we have combination dinners on the menu, so I made my own. The Enchilada was well made had just the right amount of cheese. The shrimp taco was wrapped in 2 soft corn tortillas and the rice and beans-were rice and beans with a good flavor. I was the only customer at the time but again I was early for the dinner rush and late for lunch. They get 2 thumbs up from this traveling Texan.

Chips were ok as was the salsa but all could have come from the grocery store shelf. The queso was watery and didn't taste like it's made with cheese at all. This place has heavy competition from El Mezcal down the road. If it's going to survive it needs to up its game. We won't be back.

Awful. Will not go back again…read more Went for lunch today. Was there an hour and a half. They were busy when we arrived so had patience when taking our order About 15 min in. We were a party of two and ordered the same menu item, one without tomatoes. After a half an hour (and the table of six coming in, ordering, and receiving their food) the waiter brought one of our two plates out. Two people=two orders, two plates. We waited for the second plate for the second person thinking he'd be right back with it. A half hour later we asked where the rest of our order was for the second member of our party. By this point, the restaurant was nearly empty. The waiter shuffled thru some papers and said it was on the grill. Be out shortly. We waited yet another half an hour, the restaurant now nearly empty, for the second plate. The person with the first plate had not ate her meal waiting for the both parties at the table to be served. She asked if her plate could be warmed up as it was now cold. The server treated her like she was crazy for requesting such. Ive never left a one star review before. But After an hour and a half, the second person was never served and the warmed up plate not returned. We went elsewhere and I recommend you do the same.
