I'm sad to report we had a bad experience today. There were three parties waiting to be seated. A young woman and her friend entered, greeted the maitre'd with a hug, received her flashing recall circle, and disappeared briefly. She returned a few moments later and was seated. All three parties complained to the manager on duty. I later learned the maitre'd told his supervisor that he'd simply made a mistake in the seating order. This was clearly untrue, and his supervisor should have known better. The wings were slow arriving, but I'm sure that's not our server's fault, she was clearly doing her best. They forgot part of my wife's order, but it was brought later when we asked for it. For wings, two beers, a glass of water, a veggie boat, some salad dressing, and a salad, our check before tip was $40, with tip it was $46. When I asked for the Regional Manager's contact information it was not provided. I've read the other reviews. No, I didn't expect a low cholesterol menu when I arrived, it's a sports grill and bar. No, I didn't expect a serene atmosphere, instantaneous service, or top shelf cuisine. It's a sports grill and bar. But our service based on seating was infuriating, the young man was still at his station when we left so apparently it was not addressed, and it was not a good value. Updating this review as I will never set foot in this restaurant again. We just watched 4 tables that sat down after us be greeted and served drinks. A server finally passed us and said be right with you... 20 minutes into sitting at our table I might add. A 4 top sat down at the table beside us and she proceeded to greet them within 3 minutes and bring them menus. That's when we left. First the good. The fried stuff I has was pretty good. Their fried pickles were good. They had a nice crispy coating on them. Sure they probably arrived at the restaurant that way but they were good. It was basically a frozen pink slime burger fried until it has a slight crust and grey all the way through. I realize it is a sports bar but do you have to pump up the volume artificially? It is really hard to hear with all the noise. If it was just "the game" being blasted at 11 that would be one thing but when you are blasting five or ten different games at full volume that make for just a racket. Atmosphere 2 - It is just way to noisy all the time. The volume was so high on my last trip that it was hard to communicate with the server. Other than the noise level it is a decent sports bar. Plenty of TVs with what ever sports are going. Service 2 - The service varies from good to pretty darn bad. I told my server that my $11 hamburger was terrible. I said I had better hamburgers during a hospital stay. She said sorry about that other than the wings the food here is really bad. No well let me take that off your bill just the food here sucks. An after gym favorite for me. The wings are great and they seem to have nightly beer specials. The service has varied from "really good" to "where the hell are they?!?!" Overall - standard bla bla sports bar. Atmosphere - chain sports bar. PROs - they did have a NC beer on tap and at least three more in the bottle. GO NC! Waitstaff was nice and service (at least at the bar) was pretty good. CONs - NOTHING on the menu was made there. Fries? Frozen. Onion rings? Frozen. When I asked the server what was made there all she could come up with was that the chips for the chips and salsa were made there. Ordered them. Chips. Pretty good. Salsa? Ketchup with some spices. My husband and his buddies frequent BWW about every few weeks to see the UFC Fights. They enjoy beer specials and get great service from a couple of really super staff members... Kevin and Desiree are some notable names. So, if he were writing this review, he'd give five stars for that. I'm not really into those fights and am really more about the food... which, sorry to say, is just not that great. The wings for which they are so famous, have a chewy lose skin of which I'm just not a fan (I like 'em crispy!) The fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks are mushy. The jalapeno bits have a grainy cheese stuffed in them. The soft pretzels are alright, pretty doughy and nothing to write home about. I have yet to try the pizzas and so I suppose there is still hope! I will say that the beer specials are really great. They do make a good dirty martini, which can be hard to find. If you like the TV's blaring every sports channel imaginable and don't mind mediocre bar food, than this is the place for you. Came here couple weeks ago, on a Friday evening. I just moved to NC last month. I am a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. I used to have the wings every other week when I was in TN. But this one kinda disappointed me. The sauce is same everywhere. But the service here was much worse than TN. I even cannot find a smile on the waiter's face. And the wings were way smaller! The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because the food came out quickly. The food actually came out faster than it took my server to take my order. Honestly, it took my server about 12 minutes to even acknowledge me. Other severs were busy and even helpful to me. Great daily lunch specials as well as drink specials. This is a great spot for a UFC fight night. I go with a small but consistent group of guys and always sit in the bar. We have a standing request for Kevin to be out server, but, all the bar servers are great. We stay for 3-4 hours and eat throughout the whole visit. I really enjoy the soft pretzels. They are abundant and filling. The queso dip for them is consistently good. The wings are excellent. I am closing in on having every flavor. My favorite is the spicy garlic. The burgers are good too. If you want to sit in a disgusting loud restaurant and wait 45 minutes for mediocre food, you have found the right place. The absolute worst part is the service. I have never seen such socially awkward employees in my life. The hostess stared at my family awkwardly when we came in, mouth agape, and it seemed like an eternity before she said "oh do you want a table?" Yes... that is why we entered your restaurant. Then the waitress. Once again, extremely awkward conversation. She looked terrified and seemed to have no idea how to take an order. Finally we got to the check. I asked the girl at the register if I could split the check and she stared at me blankly with her 10 pounds of glittery eyeshadow and told me "you need to tell the server about that"... oh that sounds reasonable... let me just go run around the restaurant and find my server while she is God knows where I didn't even see her while we were actually eating.
