We've had good and bad food/drinks/service. After the other day, it's safe to say we won't be back. When you have an extremely long wait time for a non busy, almost empty restaurant and your waiter acts like you're bothering him. It's time to go. When your drinks don't look or taste ANYTHING like there supposed too (and I mean it's not even drinkable). It's time to go. So the wait was long for server to get to the table I wasn't in a hurry. It was boneless Thursday and the wings were normal just slightly overbreaded. But the worst part to me is they don't want to take your card as payment. They want to invade my phone make me place my card info in a text to pay, or you can pay cash, and finally if you insist you can pay at the Togo register. I shouldn't be too hard on this place, its a sports bar kinda restaurant, they serve wings, burgers and bar food, leaning towards beers and mixed drinks. I ordered Fish Tacos, so I didn't expect much from a wing place! And it wasn't that good, as expected. The frozen (expected) fish triangles weren't very good quality and the tortillas were dry and the filling was pretty bland. It did however come with some of their wing sauce which gave it some flavor. I ordered chips and salsa but it showed up with fries instead and I didn't complain because it took so long to get the food and I wanted to eat. Plus I didn't care much either way. The 30 minute wait for our food to show up took most of the joy out of going out for dinner on a weeknight. The Ranch dressing is that thick glossy sweetish bulk type, not homemade, but it wasn't as bad as some I've had. Hubby got wings and they were very good. read more

Been a while, so decided to try their new menu items. The boneless wings are meatier, not just breading. The wing count adjusted, same price but with 2 less wings and listed as snack, small, medium, large. 6, 9, 14, 18 count. Interesting. No longer have the garlic parmesan, so opted for Chipotle BBQ dry rub was ok. More salty than flavor. Josh, our server, was attentive with drink refills. Fries were warm, not cooked long enough to burn off the freezer taste. Mac n cheese was ok. Sauce was borderline Alfredo taste. I ordered the traditional and boneless combo, 6 of each, that came with fries and slaw. But it didn't have the slaw. When I asked about it, was told there was a recall. Yikes. That should have been offered - that the slaw not available if part of the combo offering. And we had to ask for the carrots and celery. Tonight they had no Ketchup or Sweet tea which I would say are staples for just about every restaurant. Walk across to BJs and bam you now have Ketchup and sweet tea. Extremely disappointing visit. My husband and I frequent this location, Bdubs has always been one of our go-to spots. This evening, when picking up our to-go order my husband observed the manager not wearing a mask at the To-go service counter. Peaked into the back and sure enough, no cooks in kitchen are wearing masks either. In these times, I feel like wearing masks is the *least* a business can do. Maybe I came on an off day for the staff? The service was slow. Many of the wait staff seemed preoccupied with standing around and chatting with each other - and the place was not crowded. I could overhear the table next to mine complaining about slow service as well. The food was not bad, however in small portion for the cost. Typically I would expect a basket that would present an illusion of a full meal. However the basket appeared to have more paper presentation than food. I would give higher marks if it were worth the cost and time management. The drinks, food and basic ordering was irregularly low for a chain. No one came to check to see how I was doing - including management. Basically, it will take some heavy convincing before I trek back to this location. read more

Carry out. Got there when they said it would be ready. It wasn't. Had to ask for ranch 3 times. Came straight home, stone cold. (Live 5 minutes away.) They redid their buffalo chips. I went here on 11/11/2014 with some clients of mine for a quick lunch. The place was a little crowded, so we opted to sit in the bar area. We posted up at a table that was facing the wall. This was a little odd. There were four of us at the table. One on each end, and two in the middle facing the wall. It felt like the "timeout" table for bad customers. No big deal though, we didn't make a fuss. Our waiter came and took our drink order, brought them out, then took our food order, then pulled a David Copperfield and disappeared for 45 minutes. We noticed that it had been a while since we had seen him, so we told the manager that we were concerned. That manager also succumbed to what is now known as the Buffalo Wild Wings Black Hole, because we never saw him again either. Then out of nowhere (1 hour into sitting down) our original waiter comes out of the kitchen with our food. Everybody got what they ordered and nobody complained. Food was on-par with what I had expected from a sports bar wing joint. We were seconds from walking out of this place and going to the Subway next door when Copperfield reappeared with our lunch order. A place that runs a lunch menu has to be timely on getting the food out. It worked in my favor since I was taking clients out to discuss business, but my clients ended up taking an hour and a half lunch that they hadn't planned on taking. If the kitchen is backed up, don't be afraid to let us know. I'm not putting all the blame on the waiter, I could tell that he wasn't a seasoned vet, but when the manager stops in to see if everything is ok and then never comes back by once you've expressed concerned, then you have served me my last meal. read more

Ok, disclaimer: I used to work at a B-Dubs franchise (not this one, another one). Actually, that should be encouraging to you... Even after waiting tables there for months, I still ate there (anyone who works in a restaurant knows how rare that is). It's a great wings place. The main attraction here are the sheer number and universally high quality of the wing sauces (around 14). Unlike other wing joints that pad their menu with crappy sauces no one will ever want, all of these are really good and pretty different from one another. This location is utter crap. Piss poor management. Sat at a dirty table, waited 20 minutes for drinks, beer was soured, food came out at all different times and was terrible. Salad was basically a slice of lettuce with one tiny chicken strip and a little dressing over it. Wings were cold with only a tiny bit of sauce on them, celery was old and wilted and mushy. Pretty standard as far as Buffalo Wild Wings go. The place is located in a fairly new shopping center in Garner. I've been there a couple times to hang out and play Buzztime Trivia. The waiters are very good about getting you into the game quickly and you never really have to wait long for a player console. Too bad, I can't say the same thing about the food. Both times I've been to this location the food took at least 25 minutes and it wasn't really crowded. The food is pretty good though and each flavor stays true to it's description. You know how sometimes when you order hot wings, they don't come really spicy? This happens to me a lot so naturally I ask for the hottest wings available to get a true hot wing. Well at B-Dubs, their hottest wings are called Blazing and let me tell you that these are the real deal. They will burn your face and make you sweat and this is coming from someone who likes "Thai-hot" Thai food. Don't sleep on the wings! P.S. This location offers 40 cent wings on Tuesdays as opposed to the 25 cent wings I'm used to at a B-Dubs location in Georgia. Still a good deal and you can get a dozen wings for under $5. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings is just down the road from Clayton and I'm surprised it has taken me so long to get there. I have to say that I'm happy I finally made it. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is that of a typical sports bar. Fairly open, plenty of flat screens and a solid draft and bottled beer selection. The wings were excellent. I tried the Mango Habanero wings. They were cooked just right and had just the right combination of sweetness and heat. They came with a side of onion rings that did not appear to be made in house but were pretty good none the less. We used to go frequently after they first opened and enjoyed it, but just went back for the first time in a while. What a difference! The hostesses were sitting in the front braiding each other's hair. When they realized we needed to be seated, they reached over to grab silverware with the same hands that were just in their hair!! We were sat on the patio and it took almost 15 minutes and a visit from me to remind them we were waiting for our orders to be taken. Food arrived and it was lukewarm chicken and they forgot part of the order. Tables were clearing of people, but they weren't being bussed. It's not somewhere I'll revisit. Meh...my friend and I stopped by for trivia, drinks, and apps after getting our nails done nearby at Lee's last week. It was OK. I've gotten their wings before, and I definitely think that they make solidly decent wings with good sauce variety. Not as good as homemade or a place like Aviator, but not bad for a chain. I love the Carribbean Jerk sauce and the Mango Habanero is one of my all time fave wing sauces. We got one of the sampler appetizers...the boneless wings were decent covered in the new tequila jalapeno sauce. It was very much medium with a little too much sweetness to it. The pita and spinach artichoke dip were surprisingly good, although they didn't serve enough dip. The jalapeno poppers were way too salty, and not very spicy at all, and the nacho cheese dip they served with the pretzels was just...weird. I was pleasantly surprised by the beer they had on special...Summer Shandy. I'm usually a dark beer drinker, but this was nice, light, and refreshing. However, over $5 for a special draft seems steep. I'll go again as it's 5 miles from home, but it's not one of our regular hangouts, and probably never will be. read more

Our food was fine but took an incredibly long time to come out, even early on a weeknight evening. My husband's bar drink alone took 30 minutes to appear. I noticed that waitstaff was busing tables themselves, and I wonder what staffing was like in the kitchen, considering everyone in the restaurant (not that many of us) was waiting for their food for a long time. I feel our waitress was doing her best, but she and her co-workers were clearly overloaded, even on a slow night. I went for lunch with my girlfriend and order 30 extra extra crispy hot wings.I expressed to her she could burn them, that if they were not crispy enough I can not eat them. My wings came out and I returned them.The manager came out and told me that he could only cook the wings for 19 minutes because it would ruin the oil and the wings ,I said so you are cooking this order the same amout of time and they would not be any more crisper. It's a sports bar...it's going to be busy and loud. We knew that when we let our son choose BWW to celebrate his birthday. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I called the night before and spoke with a manager. Although we weren't able to reserve tables, she was very accommodating. She said that we could bring a cake and they would hold it until we were ready for it...not many restaurants would allow that. We arrived about 30 minutes early to make sure they could accommodate our group of 15+ children and adults. It took about 10 mins for us to be seated. Our server quickly squared everything away and brought a out drinks. She was great. We hand multiple tabs at our table and had no problems keeping up with us. We ended up with a group of about 20. She did great! The manager on duty stopped by to ensure things were okay. The kids all he kids meals and were happy. I ordered a ton of wings for the adults and they were great too. We're never disappointed with their wings. They brought out the cake with candles (which I forgot,) announced my son's birthday (completely embarrassing him in a good way ) and I served it. I have zero complaints. We had great service, Good food, and a wonderful birthday party. We will definitely be back. The restaurant was clean, and the staff just can't be beat.
