Smoked turkey and cornbread stuffing w/gravy, cranberry sauce, fried okra and sweet potato mash

Stopped for lunch on our way back from Atlanta GA. Conveniently located off I-85 outside of Greenville SC. We arrived during lunch rush. A large party was waiting to be seated so we had a short wait (maybe 15 minutes). Host friendly and informative. My husband & I ordered the smoked turkey, cornbread stuffing & cranberry sauce w/2 sides; kids order pulled pork sandwich w/fries and chicken tenders w/mac & cheese. Drinks were fountain drink. sweet tea & bottled cream sodas. Service was attentive, fast and friendly. Food was hot, fresh & delicious. Turkey was juicy, but I found stuffing a bit salty, but it may've been the gravy (recommend asking for it on the side). Girls enjoyed their food (husband tasted pork and says definitely needed BBQ sauce) and we ordered a banana pudding to go (in house they served it in a mason jar!). The dining room is sizable with a side room for large parties (~30-40 ppl?) and there are a few seats outside establishment. Will definitely consider stopping here again on a future trip.

We tried this place for lunch and loved every part of it. Our waitress, Christina, was very nice, informative, and patient (as it was our first time). My only complaint was the lemonade because it wasn't sweet enough, but that's a very minor issue that can be easily fixed! Food was flavorful and portions were generous.

    Heaven in a jar

This is the kind of place you hope to find but rarely do--a true mom-and-pop spot where the whole family works the line, greets the guests, and puts their heart into every bite. Buffalo Cornbread is a perfect blend of Southeast comfort and Southwest flavor, and they nail it. I had the Alamo Burger, and let me tell you--beyond compare. Juicy, flavorful, and piled high with the kind of bold, smoky flavors that stick with you (in the best way). The smoked pinto beans on the side? Smoked on-site and absolutely delicious. You can taste the care. The guy next to me ordered the Austin Chicken, and it looked so colorful and fresh that I already know what I'm getting next time. This place isn't churning out the same old, tired stuff--every item on the menu looked fresh, inspired, and worth coming back for. The whole place was immaculately clean, the staff genuinely friendly, and the vibe felt like sitting down in someone's home kitchen. I don't usually get dessert, but I couldn't look away when I saw a quart mason jar packed with real banana pudding delivered to the table beside me. I ordered that baby on the spot and was in banana pudding heaven. (I'm adding a photo--because yes, it's that serious.) Whether you're a local or just passing through on the interstate--GO HERE. Buffalo Cornbread is the kind of place that reminds you why we go out to eat in the first place.

Very good lunch spot! We love to go after church on Sundays, it can get a little busy but we are always sat quickly. The service is wonderful and it's. nice family restaurant.

This is an outstanding local restaurant. The food is plentiful and reasonably priced. The wait staff does superb with being attentive and friendly. The ambiance is social but not loud, must have stop to eat !

Fried green tomatoes! I forgot to take my own picture but they look just like this.

OMG this restaurant is so good! We had some excellent most tender fall apart brisket cooked perfectly and fried okra and another side each! We also had the fried green tomatoes with jalapeño cheese grits which were light and firm and the best light breading ever! I hate grits and ate these and enjoyed them even! My husband loves grits and said they were delicious too. We came back after a shopping trip and picked up a half pan of banana pudding to go too! Excellent food, very friendly waitress and owners too, clean place and very nice family friendly place. They have a whole room for parties too! I told them they need to open a location in Seneca, SC. They had a great menu as well bbq, burgers, wings, salads and so much more! We will go back for sure and it's 35 minutes or so from our house!

Fried Green Tomatoes. Great flavor but the slices of tomato were a little thin

I wanted a good cheeseburger and sweet potato fries (no up-charge!) and that is what I got after somewhat of a wait. I also tried a pricey beer ($8) Mortal Wombat IPA on tap. I gotta tell you- it was great! Just note it has 6.7% alcohol. My date had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Which she thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert we had a mini Spice Bundt cake with vanilla ice cream. Great dessert! I have never had anything like it before at a restaurant. The server, Ramonna, was attentive and friendly, adding to the good experience. Now for the down side: 1. I received a Supplemental Fee $1.41 - gotta find out what that is all about. (Update: this is a fee for using a credit card) 2. No military discount. Not only is this unpatriotic it is not in keeping with the proud tradition of the south and especially South Carolina. (Update: They do donate to a veteran charity according to their correspondence. However, this does not change how veterans, who are paying customers, are regarded.) As it stands for me, I would not come back because of this slight.
