We went on 2/4/25 around 4:30 pm. Not many customers yet but the place was really clean, decorated nicely and the waitress was very friendly. I noticed the tables and booths were spaced nicely so even if there were alot of guests you'd still be able to get around good. We started with fried green tomatoes which was served over grits. I had the steak and cheese hoagie which was really good. Hubby had a dill burger and sweet potato fries. I believe They may dust the sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar but they were really good. Finished up with a piece of peanut butter pie. Everything was excellent and the cost was approximately $43. We will return again. read more

Both the service and food is good every time we have been. Having tried a few different things on the menu, nothing has disappointed yet.

After a long day, we were tired and just wanted a quick, comfortable meal. This place was perfect. Service was excellent and the meat & 3 meal was well proportioned and hot (but not heat lamp hot). I have been wanting to try this place for a while. It was OK , nothing to make it a road trip for but if in the area it's good enough or if you work in the area it's a alternative to fast food. I got the TKO burger and asked to have it with mayonnaise but apparently that's not something that they can do in the kitchen so they gave us some mayonnaise packets, at least it was Dukes lol. read more

Ordered from the meat and 3 menu. Country fried steak was good but was frozen, not fresh. Okra was not breaded enough and not crispy..,Could have been fresh, not sure. Collard greens had zero pork or pork fat. Just slight vinegar taste. Undercooked as well. Broccoli salad had very little dressing , just wasn't good. Sweet tea was like sweet water. Very weak tea taste. If this is "southern" food, a trip to Maw-maws house might be in order. Service was ok. Ambiance was lacking in personality and charm. Too cafeteria-like. read more

WOW!!! We walked in and was greeted by 2 ladies, the restaurant is clean and lots of sitting room. Now the food ,,,,,OH my goodness the food was fantastic and the cornbread was off the chain alone with the banana pudding. The tea was just right. The oil in the fryer tasted like it was time for changing as the crinkle cut fries were ok but could have been better. I ordered the half chicken which was cooked well considering it takes so much to adequately cook the darker meat and not overcook the breast . The jalapeño grits were great ! The mustard sauce could use a little less of the yellow mustard bite , and if you are going to label a sauce sweet heat ..... add some heat to it . Big portions on the pulled pork and brisket I saw on other plates , and you could tell that they liked the taste . I also noticed a bar area and a meat and 3 selection . Ordered the pulled pork BBQ plate with sides of Mac and cheese and tomato-cucumber salad. The BBQ tasted good, just had to separate 3 large fatty pieces that should not have been present. The tomato-cucumber salad consisted of slice of tomato with several slices of cucumber, but not indicated was some onion included which wasn't expected and ruined the salad. Just an okay dinner in my opinion...first time here, likely not return. Service was minimal, never returned to check, and we would have liked more water. The facility is large, good seating areas, clean with clean restrooms also. Lot of locals were present as it was on a Sunday after church. Lots of parking available. I wanted to try something unique, so I had the 'Buffalo Grits', and they were very good. I never would have thought to put this dish together, but it worked well. They are: Buffalo sauce soaked shredded chicken on top of our signature jalapeño cheese grits, topped with sautéed spinach, corn, crispy bacon and garnished with cheese. Served with cornbread.
