My wife really liked her drink . Both drinks had unique flavors , I got mine decaf and hers regular . Now that I know about Cotton Duck I will stop in when I go to the plant nursery down the road . The Ranchero kolache was the winner for me: bright, fresh flavors over the heavier gravy-style options all day. The pepperoni kolache, though, tasted a little too close to a Hot Pocket. And the cinnamon roll? Perfectly edible and... completely forgettable. Pass on it and get another kolache instead. If you're into spinach-artichoke dip energy, the Chicken Florentine Stuffed Croissant will do you just fine. We have also been customers at the Starbucks Powdersville location since it opened in 2019. We spend almost $300 a month buying daily drinks and food. We also bring goodies in for the crew for holidays and Black Friday. However, we will no longer be customers at this location. While we truly appreciate many of the folks who work and have worked there, on Thursday, after ordering our usual drinks we were told by the cashier, who we had never seen before, that he would not honor our free refill request. We have been getting this refill for years. When we asked if this was a change in policy he refused to answer, were rudely asked to leave. Several of the other Starbucks employees seemed to be embarrassed by this since they were some of those who frequently served us the refill just days earlier. As we left the store we noticed there was a shift manager meeting outside with the district rep and the store manager. Some of these folks have served us for those past years. When I told them what happened they laughed. I told them that the employee "shooed me" out of the store. Not one of them said there was a change in policy and not one got up and went inside to rectify the situation. I don't blame the shift managers, as they seemed uncomfortable but perhaps, they feared the district manager. But the store manager and especially the district manager should be ashamed. They did not make any effort to provide customer service to truly loyal customers. They allowed a rude, substitute employee to alienate and embarrass loyal customers who spend thousands at their store. Shameful and poor reflection on the Starbucks brand.
