Carlos M, Victor, and Ahmet moved us yesterday. They were a few hours late, but that was ok. When they arrived, they dove right in and cleared out a 3 bedroom house in 2 hours. Lots of stuff, and they communicated any concerns they had. They were courteous and efficient. We would not hesitate to hire Budget Movers again. The price was right, and even though the weather was snowy/icy, they made it work. Heather, their customer service rep, was very good at scheduling around the winter weather that we had this and last week. No one likes moving, especially in the winter weather. They were best value, with best service (Heather A dispatch, Jonathan G, driver/supervisor), and I got a quick verbal quote from Heather, confirmation text and email (Moveitpro.com and Square software made it easy), and confirmation calls and texts along the way. Everything was loaded a, moved and delivered well. His TV had a small corner Crack on the bezel prior to the move which was photographed at pickup, delivered in their rental box in the same condition (working fine) but I appreciated that attention to detail. We had a very bad experience !!!! The original quote was about half of the actual price once the job was done. One truck became two trucks, etc. Despite many questions of Heather prior to accepting the quote, we were assured things were accurate and "their man had many years of experience" despite him not writing down anything while walking through our home. They were extremely careless in loading boxes out of our house, which alarmed us. We had a number of steps and saw many hand trucks "fly" down the stairs with too many boxes stacked and a precarious balance of belongings. To no one's surprise, we had numerous damaged boxes. Either while in storage for one month, or going in and out of storage, we had boxes misplaced which, HAVE NEVER BEEN FOUND. Upon arrival at the delivery address, we experienced the same carelessness of rushing and handling our belongings. They often times just put a box where ever they liked. We found kitchen boxes in the yard and patio items in a bedroom. There were boxes on our trucks from totally unrelated addresses out of state. This was a surprise, as our belongings were to have been in a private storage area. No one acknowledged missing boxes until one employee volunteered that he had seen broken items at the warehouse and he took it upon himself to repack multiple boxes. Why did not someone call us to alert us to this? They even denied the breakage and missing boxes while unloading the truck and, had it not been for the one employee who spilled the beans, I am not sure we would have ever understood the degree of the issue. After all was complete, we called the office to ask what we needed to do to correct the issue. Heather indicated she knew nothing about the damage or missing boxes and would have to look into it. When we provided proof and identification of the missing items, it was the last time I heard from them. They did send us $60 for damages, about 2% of the actual damages. They will not answer emails, phone calls, or phone messages from us or our insurance company. As far as we are concerned, they should NOT be in a service industry with their poor service quality and responsiveness. We have another partial move to come and they WILL NOT be involved. Please be careful with what they tell you or don't tell you. read more

Had to move my aunt quickly and this company had good reviews. Movers were nice but they brought a truck that was too small. We told them that there was a garage as well as the 1 bedroom appartment. The truck ended up having to take 2 trips. A leg on a table broke but we were pressured into signing that there were no damages. After a 12 hour day we were ready to be done. Overall good service but double what we planned because of the mixup with the truck. Did not like being pressured into saying no damage and the fact that 2 trips had to be made, in addition they were very pushy about giving a review - the mover wanted us to do it before they left. read more

They sincerely cared about our belongings and it showed with how they strategically placed our items into our moving truck & asked questions like if we had extra blankets or other protective materials and advising us on what we could to do secure our items even better before hitting the road across state. The guys had to carry it down 4 flights of stairs. It was a difficult job but Carlos and his team did great! They where efficient, quick, and very kind. Hector and Miguel were incredible and reliable in helping my family moved to our new house. They just finished 30 minutes ago and it went so well. They were very careful in making sure that our furniture were properly wrapped and secured. Jeremy and his team did a great job. We had a lot of stuff but they completed 3bed room move within 4 hours. It was within the city. They said it helps to put labels on boxes where the boxes go. We put labels like living, kitchen, master, kids room and so on. Also we had to disassemble beds so that they can take in and out the rooms. It maybe a good idea to disassemble big furnitures before they come. It was worth paying them $900. read more

Avoid. I arrived with a full truck for a straight-forward labor-only job at the agreed-upon time. In four separate conversations (including two that very day) and an e-mail quote with Heather, we agreed upon a time for the move. Thirty minutes after that time, I called and Heather told me they'd "get to me eventually." She tried to gaslight me and say that we never agreed on a time, an earlier customer had cancelled so they didn't both making sure they had movers available (though they were sure eager to initially take my deposit), and told me movers would be there within the hour. So dishonest and unprofessional. The moving team showed up two hours later (2.5 hours after the scheduled time). I appreciate that they were efficient when they did show up, but they definitely scratched up a few cabinets. I miraculously was able to get the truck back when I needed to, but I'll be telling my family, friends, and coworkers to avoid this mess. You should avoid them too. read more

For a Budget Mover name, this is not a moving company on a budget. There are some extra fees and you need to ask because the sales rep won't say. I felt it was about 300-400 too much in total fees. The team that moved me was Carlos M and his team. Total of 4 and they were fabulous. At first I thought this is taking too many hours and the total price was too high for what I budgeted.
