When I arrived to check in, he continued a phone call and did not acknowledge my presence at all--not even with eye contact. I expect at least a basic acknowledgment when walking into a business, especially at a rental counter. That same employee handled my return, and the process was excessively long. He again failed to acknowledge me while assisting another customer, then went outside to check the car, came back inside, and said absolutely nothing. I had to ask whether my return had even been completed. Several hours later, I still have not received an electronic confirmation that the vehicle was checked in. This was a frustrating and avoidable experience driven entirely by poor communication and lack of basic customer awareness. With additional training, this employee--and this location--could perform much better.

This…read moreEnterprise location is my favorite and my only go to, Chris Assist Manager and Manager Brian (don't quote me on that name) knows me and both takes pride in their responsibilities of making sure renters are valued and satisfied with their rented car. The location is very busy and hard to get in touch with to extend your rental. I'm not taking any stars away due to that inconvenience nor due to TOMMY who is unprofessional and irritating, I had to report him so watch his energy. Again, I would highly recommend this location due to the care and consideration of your time an expectations. Here today, I'll be back tomorrow!

I made the mistake of using some of my Hertz points for a car the following week, and the rental experience was a nightmare in comparison. I've rented hundreds of cars for business travel all over the US, and the team at this Enterprise location tops the list. If you need a rental, I can't recommend Brian, Olivia and the rest of their team enough.

I told them again the their Enterprise system locked the card on their side and the issue did not come from the bank. They kept insisting it was the bank and when I got upset they said they were not going to talk to me with my raised voice and to make sure I gave them the key because I was not allowed to leave with it - I could not have another day. My response was that I was not a thief. yes, I gave them the key back and now writing this review. In the middle of these events #2 below was going on as well at the location at the same time. 2) I called the 1-888 number and asked for a manager at 1-888 number. The person who answered was nice but didn't know how to help the situation as she tried to run the card thru snd it didn't go thru. I then asked for a manager. The manager typed in the info I gave her and sent it to the people I was talking to in front of me. Then she hung up on me. I thought being that it was their company they knew how to fix the situation. Not ever coming back

But Daniel Guillie What is the best representative I've ever worked with. He was more than professional he was super accommodating and actually cared about what I needed. He went above and beyond I could ever imagine, he met every need I could ever have ever thought of. I would highly recommend this man. The car he rented me was fabulous everything I wanted. If Daniel is not in management soon then Enterprise needs to be reevaluated. I saw him work with other clients and he was just as amazing with them.

I had a wonderful experience at this location (or so I thought) while my car was being serviced for maintenance wear and tear. An Enterprise Associate picked me up from mechanic and brought me to Enterprise (in car I would be renting). The wait time wasn't that long, about 7 min). Once it was my turn, we went out to inspect the silver Altima and she marked down the dents, scratches, parts of vehicle that were separated and assured me it's already marked down on their end and then marked down in front of me and I pointed out others because I don't want to be liable for any damages from someone else. Day of returning car, wait time was a little longer but it was okay because Associate at desk was kind and polite. She did the return car check and she said everything was fine, of course with the car. Gas was even filled (even though it was only supposed to be have been above the half point, but I returned the car earlier than expected thanks to Amazing mechanics at Eric's Car Care in Rice Village. Because of the full tank of gas and Associate being kind, she even credited me $15, making entire credit of $33.55, not a negative balance but a positive one. There were no issues then and definitely shouldn't be any issues now. I was refunded the remaining balance and waited about 20 min for someone to come and take me back to Eric's. When Pedro arrived, I offered to stay and wait longer so he can have his lunch that he had but he said it was alright. We headed back to mechanic (in the rental I just returned) for Pedro to drop me off and that was that.... thats what I thought until today when I got an email stating I OWE them $1,285.50 for alleged damages If I had incurred any damages, I would have already informed Enterprise. I have been using Enterprise for over 20 years. What I won't accept is being held liable for damages before car was issued to me or after Ive already released vehicle and others have driven it. Car was returned a week ago & was fine and now they are claiming damages that were not done by me, damages that were there before me, damages that could be caused by their own Associates since they use the same rental I used to both pick up and drop me. Do not let them do this. Do not allow Enterprise, Greenbriar or any rental agency to use the same vehicle to drop you off. They will smile at your front but will hit you with outrageous charges and lies after the fact. This is the most dishonorable and despicable thing I've come across from a business.. Please, if you must rent, use AVIS that is close by on Kirby (5 min) this location or use another Enterprise, unless you want to get hit by charges that you didn't incur but they will claim you did, which now, I will have to fight against. And to think I was going to use this location for future rentals but I will continue using another Enterprise location I tend to use in SW Houston for trips. I even left them a glowing review after receiving the message with a link to rate them 24 hrs after returning the vehicle (please remove that review wherever it is posted since it clearly a lie now). I've driven rentals out of city and nothing, now to have this car for 4 days, locally, they are trying to put previous damages and/or damages that happened outside of my care on me. I only used this location out of convenience and look how that turned out. Go where you know , do not use them because of convenience. Convenience will cost you. They couldn't get their money from previous renter who actually incurred the damages on the vehicle or one of their own Associates caused the previous and/or new alleged damages before and/or after I came into picture, now they are trying this disgusting stunt. Do not use Enterprise on Greenbriar, unless you want to be charged or deal with the headache and hassle that I am currently undergoing. Happy Mother's Day to me. Blessings.

The guy said I could wait for him to help other customers, or I go to another location and switch out the car. I went to two more locations before another car was available. Took me like 1.5 hours. I guess Budget holds a $200 deposit so you need a credit card and ID.

    It seems the theme of my reviews today is "You get what you get"…read more I reserved a manager's special for an EV car because I'm traveling to Arizona (my work schedule didn't allow me to travel via train like a sane person and I don't trust Frontier airlines) I arrived and didn't really see any EV cars. While the woman attending to me was nice, she asked me,"Do you absolutely need an Electric car" and from the past reviews I already know what was happening but I was already on a time crunch and I should have already been hitting the road at this point. I answered no but asked what she had avaliable and to my surprise, 90% of the cars on the lot had some sort of issue. She was able to get me into a nice little Jeep Compass and they got it cleaned up for me. She hurried back in and when I got in the car, I realized there was no gas in it. I never had a rental car with no gas. It was almost like a "Here, damn" type situation. Of course I took my photo and plan to reach out to customer service to discuss this. What really got me upset was seeing that I was charged extra for being switched to another car. I believe that I shouldn't be charged extra at all for something that they couldn't provide. Honestly, this location shouldn't have been bookable if they couldn't keep up with any demand. I had rental companies before call other locations and uber me to make sure I was taken care of. I could understand if they put me in a full size SUV or a minivan but not for something as equal value as what I booked. Overall, your best bet is to call this location ahead of time to make sure they even can assist you.

I have researched some companies servicing that route, but I wasn't completely convinced about how safe, comfortable, and reliable they would be. I am grateful that my coworkers recommended Vonlane, a premium bus service that operates between Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. The service is top-notch, more comfortable than flying, and includes complimentary meals, drinks, and snacks. They have a fleet of luxury buses with amenities such as free wifi, a restroom, and spacious leather seats. The prices are comparable to cheap flights, but the experience is more "refined", more enjoyable, and certainly more productive, especially for business travel. In my two trips so far, I have had no complaints except for a delay caused by a faulty audio system, which coincided with street repairs in front of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston (Vonlane's terminal). Passengers had to wait in the Houston heat with no shade for 30 minutes, leaving us sweaty by the time we boarded the bus. Despite this inconvenience, overall, my experience with Vonlane has been great.

I don't care what it costs, I will NEVER use Hertz again and will blast what happened to everyone I can on social media. Yes, they charge a $50 late fee, but most people don't care about paying that. I had a TON of errands to run that day, so I didn't return my car on time on time either. Perhaps, if it had not taken nearly two hours to get a replacement car, I would have been able to turn it in on time. One place that I REALLY needed to get to was closed by the time I got there. Just use a regular car rental company if you need dependability, because there is nothing dependable about Zipcar except the late fees. Oh, and the customer service reps are NOT in the United States and English is not their first language. So, calling them to about anything will be challenging or a complete waste of time depending on who answers the phone. Go to a regular brick-and-mortar rental company if you are an ADULT with ADULT business to take care of.
