Due to Consumer Reports ratings, I probably would not buy a VW car, although I still have fond memories of my old and sporty VW Scirocco. What I appreciated most about this car was comfort, power when I needed it, and the ease that my 97 year-old Dad could get in and out of the car. Gas mileage was decent and trunk storage was ample enough for my luggage and my Dad's walker. The Enterprise representative at the airport was courteous and efficient. No one was at their desk when I returned the car early Saturday morning, and the final bill was in my inbox within a couple hours of me dropping it off. I was also happy with the easy walk from the terminal to the car and straightforward return.

I've mentioned this several times, but it doesn't seem to have led to any change. If you're flexible about the type of vehicle you drive, I'd easily give this location 5 out of 5 stars based on the staff alone. But if, like me, vehicle size matters--especially when traveling with children and needing adequate space--you may want to consider a larger branch with more consistent inventory.

I am surprised both counters wouldn't be open at 8 AM to help ensure people can make it to work meetings and events quickly. It would have took another 30-45 mins if the Enterprise booth hadn't opened up their counter around 8:30 and split the line in half. They should have a way to streamline this process and reduce the wait times. My biggest issue is they can give you a compact SUV like a Ford Escape for the price of mid-size SUV, which is $17 more per day. Apparently, rental companies have their own classification system, which makes things confusing. Online, the Escape is listed as a compact SUV, so it's misleading to pay for a midsize SUV expecting more space, only to end up with a compact vehicle anyway.

After the rental was complete, I was charged for 2 days despite only having the car for a little over 4 hours. Every single person I talked to on the phone acted like it was their first day. Nobody had the answers to my questions and had to ask the manager every single detail. I travel for a living and I've never had a more painful interaction in my life.

Why would any car rental company accept and give you a reservation at an airport when flights will be arriving all evening, if they are going to be closed? What a cruel way to treat loyal customers!
