The seamstress asked for the date of our event and said to pick it up by 5 p.m. on Friday Oct 20. The store is closed on the weekend. I went to pick it up at 3 because 5 felt like was cutting it too close to closing time. She looked for the dress and said it wasn't hemmed yet! When I said the dress had been there over a week, she gave excuses--no other workers, she was busy and working hard, it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, and that I shouldn't have come before 5 p.m. and shouldn't be so ugly about it.I was being civil to her but said she should have told me if there was a problem when I brought the dress in. I said I could wait. She told me I could take the dress as is or come back at 5, and again said I shouldn't be so ugly. So I said I'd be back at 5. At 3:27 she left me a message that I could pick up the dress, after I had driven home across town. When my daughter , granddaughter and I went to pick it up, the seamstress told my granddaughter she worked the dress in because of the event date. My daughter thanked her for doing so and said she looked busy. She responded that some people don't understand that. I took that as a reference to me. So don't try to pick up your item a minute early, no matter how long it's been at this shop, because she will wait until the last minute to do your alteration.

Needed a new suit for formal events and business attire. The location was extremely busy for a Sunday (and crowded), but every sales associate took the crowd in stride, helping multiple customers at once with a level of ease that made the whole situation feel normal. Jordan helped me put together a solid ensemble for formal parties and business events. He nailed my jacket size on the first try and quickly grabbed a better size of slacks after the first pair didn't fit. The shirt he paired with the suit was perfect for the increasingly warmer weather here in Middle Tennessee, and I even found a nice tie. I will say I felt a little rushed trying everything on, but I attribute that to the store being barely big enough to accommodate the volume of customers, and I don't believe the staff is at fault in this case. Given the age of the retail area it's located in, I would definitely say this location is due for a remodel or, better yet, a relocation to a bigger space in the Murfreesboro area, perhaps The Avenue? It's especially noticeable since this is the only store in the county, with the next 2 nearest locations noticeably larger and a considerable drive away (about 40 minutes). Back to the topic at hand, though, I was thoroughly impressed by Jordan and will definitely be back to this location in the future.
