Bring it somewhere else obviously and they tell me that no spark plugs were ever changed. They are definitely the originals. What the hell was I charged $1300 for?? "Are you from around here?" he asked. "No." "I don't know of any places who would just drop everything to fix your car." That surprised me, as over the years, I've dropped by a lot of garages all over New England for quick OBD reads. I knew that it probably didn't need to get fixed immediately, just that the car's computer was upset about an oxygen or emission reading. Apparently, A Plus doesn't extend the courtesy of a diagnostic test that takes 90 seconds to do. And it doesn't realize that there are garages out there who do. (Thanks Monro Muffler in Chicopee!)

The car got to the point from rust where Jim didn't feel comfortable putting it on a lift. Long story short my car came here because the gas tank needed to be replaced before other services could be done by Jake Luzi (like I said, car is old with many problems). It took Bob little to no time to provide his service and get the car to Jake and back on the road to me. There was a hiccup though. When the gas tank was replaced the float that reads how much gas is in the tank was not set correctly and yes you guessed it I ran out of gas. Only problem was I did not know that was the problem seeing how my gauge read that I had 3/4 full. Car was towed to Harvey Auto and took Jim pulling out the pump to tell me that the tank was not set correctly and I had no gas. After finding this out and my car was put back together I came and talked to Bob about what happened and he was very apologetic about what happened, which you could clearly see in his facial expressions he was disappointed. During our conversation he mentioned that I should have brought it to him first and would have honored his services, certainly had I known that the gas tank was the issue I would have had it towed here. But, we made up and went on with our day. Overall despite what had happened I am still pleased with his quick service and his gratitude for the work he had provided on short notice.
