We normally come in later and it's always able to leave with our goodies. Last night wasn't the case. Today was a winner. We pre ordered our goodies. They were all ready for us when we got there! Amira greeted us with that pretty smile of hers! We got to meet Madison today. She's super sweet. As always, our cookies were tasty and fun! It's always fun trying them out every week. So, without question he said "let's go get ice cream". The last time I was in, I had the Dubai chocolate ice cream. It was so good but it was so soft. I went in today knowing that I'm going to get it again but hoping that it will not be as soft. The boys that were working today were great! They were all so nice and very efficient. They all rotated duties and got a few orders smashed out in a timely manner! I got our ice creams in no time! Our Love It's were perfect. My Dubai chocolate was fantastic. My husband got the New Resses's and Oreo collab ice cream. Of course I had a bite of his and it wado good. We both polished off our treats. My ice cream tonight was what I needed after my emotional day. I appreciate that the boys working tonight were nice. My ice cream was perfection. After I picked my ice cream it took them what felt like 5 minutes just for them to realize what Ice Cream I had ordered, I mean the worker shouldn't be looking at the menu more than the customer. Finally once I had gotten my personal ice cream the same price as a whole tub, I didnt get a spoon with my Ice cream and when I had walked out I realized I had been served the incorrect one. And on top of all of that my scoop was pretty small.

I told them specifically what I wanted (with actual pictures) and she clarified it wouldn't look exactly the same but they would do their best and to look at some of what they had done in the past via Instagram. I looked at both Instagram and Facebook and loved the creativity and extra stuff that was used to bring the cake balls to life as they characters they were. I paid the extra price for three of my four dozen to be customized into octopus, fish, and a saying. The other good: the actual cake balls did taste good, so that part is something I would say they did well. The bad: After I solidified my order, the invoice and actual scheduling with my cake ball maker was not coordinated quickly which left me unsure everything was in order and would be ready in time. Thankfully it all worked out ok on that end. Next: Everything went great until pick up. My three 'specialized' dozen had a sugar-paper print out of the images I had sent and the saying I wanted. Nothing like I was expecting for sure and an 'exact print out' was never offered as an option for me to consider. I expressed my disappointed and they offered to look back at our email conversation to see where the miscommunication had happened. She emailed back to explain that they did exactly what I wanted. :( (most likely based on me asking how exact they could get). I sent her a response email where I copied all the things she had said that led me to believe they would be customized (like everything I had seen on Instagram) and mentioned she specifically told me they wouldn't be the same. Her final reply did not address any of the things she had said to me previously but included a 20% off coupon for a future order. I will not be doing a future order. I am disappointed they did not own their mistake and work to make it write. Their 'specialty customization' was not at all worth an extra $20 a dozen.

I am a local event planner and was tasked with planning a Celebration of Life for an…read moreout-of-the-area family on very short notice. The client had a vision for the desserts and Blythe came through, squeezing in this special order for patriotic cupcakes, as well as a birthday cake, during peak wedding season. I REALLY appreciated that. Blythe was very responsive - like immediate responses - and made the whole process so easy, which I greatly appreciated since I had many other elements to line up prior to the day of the event. Blythe delivered the cupcakes in a variety of DELICIOUS and moist flavors (the carrot cake was out of this world and SO flavorful and "spicey" and was a favorite amongst the guests) and displayed them on a wrapped wooden board and secured each to the board with a little dab of icing to keep them in place. The display was EXACTLY like the inspiration photo, right down to the fondant stars! Though we had so many special touches as the Celebration of Life luncheon, I think the cupcake display was the client's favorite. Blythe also made a birthday cake for the client's daughter's birthday, which was the next day, and delivered that on time to their Air B&B. Working with Blythe made the experience so easy. Y'all are still open for another 3 hours and you're out of everything. And I had such a horrible experience last time I was here but I'm always in this area so stopping in just makes sense to stop in. I should have known better. We ended up grabbing a frosted sugar cookie for my son. The gal that was working was rude. If the manager isn't working, you can go ahead and assume that your service will be awful. Still blows my mind why you would work at a cookie shop with a bitter attitude. I just plan on stopping at the Eagle location for my cookies since they are always on point.
