Headed to Coldstone to enjoy some birthday ice cream with my nephew. His birthday was the day before so I thought it would be fun for us to enjoy a sweet treat together to celebrate our birthdays. It was mid afternoon when we arrived. It was pretty chill. There was a few guests enjoying their ice cream while a dad and his son got their treat and were heading out the door. I did check out the menu the night before so I knew what I was going to get. The Dubai chocolate has the tightest chokehold on me so now that Coldstone has it, I must try it! So, my nephew and I both got the Like It Dubai chocolate ice cream. The gentleman worked on mine first. When he put the cup on the counter, I was quite disappointed on how my ice cream looked. I know that it's not going to look like the advertised photo but it could be a little close. My ice cream was melted already. Like the ice cream in the case was not at the right temp. My nephew's ice cream looked the same. I eat with my eyes first so I was hoping that my ice cream tasted better than it looked. It wasn't looking too hot. We sat by the window and enjoyed our treat. As soft as our ice cream was, the shaved chocolate, pistachio cream and katafi sure did make up for it! The chocolate added a nice crunch to the ice cream. The pistachio cream and katafi was in a cluster type ball. Bro, those clusters were so good! The pistachio cream was creamy and sweet. The katafi also added an extra layer of crunch to it. I got a good amount of the clusters but I know I'll have to ask for more next time! My ice cream would have been out of this world good if only the ice cream wasn't melted. I polished off that Like it size with ease. I could have gotten another one but I had to restrain myself. I had lunch plans and didn't want to ruin them. I am hooked on this treat. I plan on having another one soon! And I'll have to make for it's a larger size! This shop is right down the road from me. I'll just hop on the cruiser, make my way down and enjoy another Dubai chocolate outside in the sun. I just hope the next time the ice cream will be stiffer and not as runny. read more

We got there just a bit before closing and ordered a strawberry banana shake and a hot fudge sundae. The staff were happy to help us and very friendly. (Even though they were starting to get ready to close soon) As usual the hot fudge Sunday was perfect with vanilla ice cream hot fudge and almonds. The strawberry banana shake was superb. Cold Stone Creamery lived up to its great reputation for good ice cream and shakes. I asked for a smoothie and it took over 10 minutes to make and then there was no whip cream on it and then there were ice chunks in it about the size of nickel or quarter. It was so disappointing and I was with my friends and they also got ice cream and it barely went to the top of the cup. It was so disappointing and the worst experience at cold stone ever. What a rip off. On top of that the manager with a grey cold stone polo with blonde hair didn't bother giving me a refund or to remake it. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

After a disastrous experience at a different location, my spirits remained high on obtaining this one of a kind, beautiful to look at ice cream creation. So I drove all the way across town to this Cold Stone location. 10000% best decision I've made in a long time. I wish I came here in the first place! The staff was very friendly and took the time to make both my husband's milkshake and my ice cream bowl turned out picture perfect. As for the product itself, it was delicious. Cold Stone Creameries have some pretty awesome ice cream for a franchise. This truly tasted like eating Lucky Charms in ice cream form. The ice cream was a blend of LC Marshmallows and vanilla flavoring. It was very sugary, so if you've got an antsy sweet tooth, this is the cure! My husband enjoyed his milkshake. It tasted identical to my creation. It's nothing mind blowing, but as someone who loves taking pics of food, and limited edition items, this was fantastic! It was almost a shame I had to eat it only because it nearly too pretty to do so. I'm so glad I took the time to visit this location! It totally made my day! I'm so glad we have this location so close to home. It's a fun place to pick up yummy ice cream with mix-ins. We tried an ice cream cake for the first time today. They had at least 7 different types of cakes pre-made in the case. We chose the large raspberry cheesecake ice cream cake. The large is $27 the smaller version is $22.. It did not have enough raspberry flavor but it was very tasty with distinct cheesecake Flavor ice cream. read more

went to pick up a cake i had ordered online. walked in the store waited 10 min for the clerk to get out of the bathroom. He looked messy and not happy to be there. he then could not find our order. the manager came out and told me i didn't order. i showed him the receipt. he pulled a premade cake out and said this is the same. it was worse for wear. was iced over on the top and he told me it had not been there more than a few days.. then told me that they order them in so they are all one or two days old when they get them so...a week i guess?? this was the 2nd year in a row that they had messed up my son's birthday cake order. last year then literally made the wrong cake. NO MORE going there EVER. I hate having to be unpleasant to receive something i already paid for. I paid 42 dollars for a sad cake. read more

We came in around lunchtime, and the gal working today was clearly having a bad day and seemed intent on making sure we had a poor experience. Okay, I had my first ever visit to a Cold Stone Creamery (this one on West State Street) and decided to purchase a quart of their Founders Favorite flavor ice cream, pre-packed. Unfortunately it was probably the most expensive and bad tasting ice cream I have ever tried. It tasted very old. It even tastes like it was made with a recipe that included cleaning/detergent products. I was so disappointed after paying $10 for a quart that I splurged on, only to throw it away after the first bite or two. Sorry, but I won't be back and I would not recommend their ice cream (at least not the Founders Favorite). Save your $10. read more

I went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. My friend ordered ice cream with yorks and they gave her Twix instead. My ice cream was not mixed at all and everything was just pushed to the middle. When I was eating my ice cream I not only found 1 or 2 but 3 hairs in my ice cream.When I told them I was told I couldn't get a refund. My other friend ended up finding another hair in his ice cream as well. The only good thing was the nice woman worker (she had braces with long black hair) who offered to remake my ice cream and gave me a coupon for one free ice cream. I have never been to cold stone before and my fiancé was really excited to take me there. And to be honest the experience I had never makes me want to go there again. The girl who was helping us with pink hair you could tell she was in the worst mood and rushed while we were deciding to order. Remind you this is my first time and I don't know what the menu looks like. She wasn't nice and when we asked for prices on their cookies she looked annoyed and again rushed us. It was a very unpleasant experience. To top it off as we left she took off her mask and was working while not wearing one near her coworkers and locked the door at 9:55 so that explains why she was rushing us even though they don't close till 10pm. read more
