For diabetes it is great to have food that is not sweetened with sugar and slower-digesting basmati rice that does not spike blood glucose the way polished white rice does. Ten meals per week do get consumed, so having them fresh not frozen and completely without preservatives never becomes an issue. The green smoothies combining spinach, chunks of pineapple, a little coconut, and mint add fiber in drinkable form. Everything is great! Bravo Aundrea for providing food that is not ultra processed and full of emulsifiers, dyes, artificial flavors, etc. Let us know if you ever develop a vegetarian/no meat menu, since it just might help to regress coronary artery plaques full of saturated fat.
