I'm shocked by the low ratings. My experience was exceptional! I was surprised with this reservation and it by far exceeded my expectations, from the food, service, the waiter helping surprise me, just everything!

Keep seeing this place on social media decide to make reservations for my bday and we were late because it seem like Uber in this city don't know where they are going and most streets are blocked off so you need to walk about a block to get here dumb the chairs are super tight here they don't have a big menu to choose from the food was super bad for $40 for 4 piece of sushi that's crazy no good plus the drink didn't have any alcohol seem like they give you small amount so you keep buying the drinks are $20 plus People are super rude here no good they don't even let you take pictures of your self in peace

The ambience of this place is just out of the world. We made advance reservations and still were seated pretty away from the main area and buddha. Upon requesting, we were moved closer to the main area. The decor and ambience there is just amazing. The food was above average, little on the costlier side. The vegetable green curry and dumplings were really good. The bar area was also good, didn't get a chance to try the cocktails there. Highly recommend visiting one of the buddha bars across the globe.

So basically my review will be redundant as the others. This place has a nice vibe, cool music, and great decor. Where we were seated the lighting was kind of too dim but overall I was pleased with the esthetic'. The service was okay not bad but not outstanding. The food though was just average. I forgot the name of the sushi I thought it was going to have sliced Wagyu on it but I think it was chopped up. I had the curry shrimp which came with rice and it was just okay, the shrimp weren't seasoned and were average size. The curry itself was light. My husband had the sirloin steak with Lo mein style noodles. The steak was cooked properly but the noodles were not good no flavor whatsoever. The drinks were good, I have no complaints on that. If you are looking for a trendy date spot while in Paris try it out maybe if you pick something different to eat you might enjoy it.

Loved this spot. A MUST when visiting Paris. Great Asian Fusion food and cocktails. Best to go for an early dinner time, gets packed and less opportunity to get a reservation later in the evening.

I have mixed feelings about this place.. the food was not good, extremely average, and expensive for what we got. We paid €329 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts & a bottle of Veuve. That said, the atmosphere/ambience is great. My husband has many of the Buddha Bar CDs so it was a very familiar vibe as we listened to the chill electronic music being piped through the entire restaurant. We then went up to the bar & had a nice time (4 drinks came out to €90). I would suggest that you come for drinks to check out the space & vibe.. it's not worth eating here.

Amazing 2 story upscale sushi bar Lounge, near fashion street in Paris. This is not connected to the Buddha Bar Hotel. They have Excellent service. People from all over, visit this place. They offer bottle service, it was nice paring wines with sushi rolls, I'm not a huge raw fish lady. I had cucumber Rolls, they were refreshing. I did not communicate much with the servers, each time I visit here, I was with my date and family first language is French. People were friendly, here. This location have more English speaking guest. (Side note, for travelers).

We decided to stop by here for drinks and really didn't have any issues getting in. It was a little early and it was starting to get full with dinner service. The ambiance here is pretty cool, especially the large Buddha statue. Our party just went to the upstairs bar and sat on some couches while having drinks. The bartenders were pretty friendly and spoke English well. Drinks are pretty pricey but not unexpected considering this is a very touristy spot in Paris. The drink menu does have a pretty good selection of crafted cocktails. We had a good time and enjoyed our drinks but it was a little too chill for me. I would have preferred for the ambiance to be a little crazier but perhaps we were a bit early for the festivities. It's definitely worth a stop in for a drink if you are in the area.

I've loved coming to Buddha Bar since I was so young in 1996! It's always fun, elegant, lively, full of champagne and great music still à la the OG Claude Challe. We usually sit at the bar, not the main dining area. This last time we also had some late night nibbles... also so delicious. An eternal favourite in Paris for a guaranteed great time!

We made reservations via email before arriving in Paris. Although it was a 30 minute walk from our hotel, we were running late so we tried to get a taxi. One taxi refused us, saying it was too close. We then called an u we that took 15 minutes to arrive but then took almost 20-25 minutes to get us there as traffic was so busy. He let us off in place de Concorde and we walked into the small street to get to the restaurant. We were seated immediately and served in a reasonable time. The restaurant is dark but nice decor. The lounge/bar tables were upstairs and we were seated downstairs right in front of the giant Buddha. The food portions were small but the food was good. It is quite expensive (around 200euros for hubby and I). As we were leaving there was a red carpet event happening outside and inside the restaurant. Bikini models were being photographed and the area was corded off and there was a fair bit of security. A fun place to visit with nice atmosphere, music and good food and service.

Buddha Bar is an amazing experience, and a great place for quality sushi in Paris! They have a large variety of Asian fusion, I recommend eating family style (sharing different items). I highly recommend the rock shrimp, dumpling variety, and their rolls. If you're looking for a fun night out, good food, and pleasant ambiance then you need to check out Buddha bar!!

We went with a group and everything was paid for so I'm not sure about the over all value what I do know is that everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious, it seemed as if the food was almost never ending, the music was jamming, beautiful ladies in gorgeous costumes + very handsome talented male dancers, culminated in one fantastic spectacle...manifique! During the time that I was at Pau Brasil, the venue seemed a little on the small side (more normal for french standards) There was a male MC/host, who could ssss-ang, a female vocalist, about 4 or 5 female dancers and 3 male dancers, so at most there were only about 7 to 8 people on stage at one time but given their space and the good use of it, the showed really filled up the room and I really enjoyed the more intimate setting. I also really liked the crowd participation. For now I can only imagine how the show has evolved over the years but I bet now is an even better time to visit because I have a feeling that they probably found a cute way to include this years Olympic games. Obrigado Pau Brasil! I read the Yelp reviews and the supposed fusion of French and Indonesian whet my appetite immediately. I usually stay away from "hotel restaurants" but decided to give it a try this time around. We were welcomed with a small basked of shrimp/fish crackers served with some sort of spicy tomato dip which tasted really good. For starters, I had the sambal (spicy shrimp paste) shrimp which was heavenly. The marinated shrimp was grilled to perfection and drizzled with some awesome sauce. My dinner date had the foie gras (why, of course) and the combination of figs, foie gras and toasted baguette slices really set the tone for the entire meal....or so I thought. Both our main course was cod fish in curry (there was a catchier name, I swear) with sticky rice. My heart sank as soon as I had the first bite of the fish. After killing it in the appetizers, I had such high hopes for the fish but the dish turned out to be as bland as plan rice - it was lukewarm, tasteless, spiceless and wasn't too good. I requested for the aforementioned spicy tomato dip in hopes that it would make the dish better but unfortunately, it did not. Ultimately, my dining experience was marred by the main course, and somewhat lack of service. Disappointing :(
