Said employee (white woman, skinny, long brown hair, 40-50yo,) blatantly attempted to place the blame on me for the faulty product I purchased yesterday and refused to exchange the product for a new one. I provided the original receipt, the original packaging, and described how my cartridge broke off onto the battery and you could see where the glue that holds the cart together failed. I purchased both products yesterday. The manager claimed that I must have twisted it onto the battery too hard (I didn't), and her evidence for this was that she could not remove the tiny white piece stuck to the battery with her bare hands. I pointed out that if you used pliers to unscrew it, it would come out (it did when I got home!) but it's obviously tiny and not going to unscrew by just pulling on it with your hands. Then I said I was only asking to exchange the cart. She was trying everything in her power to get me to admit user error and not do the exchange. Then, to prevent having to do the exchange, she pivoted to saying sarcastically, "what are you going to do with just this?!" *holds up cart* implying that a new cart would be of no use to me because I couldn't use it with the battery that had the broken piece stuck in it.... as if it couldn't be possible that I would own more than one battery. By the end of this exchange I was nearly in tears because of the way she was speaking to me. I told her I would be using the replacement cart with a different battery and she finally conceded. I think she had no more room to make things up. This was my second negative experience at an AGT location. Folks, if you don't want to go through this terrible process of being blamed for a faulty product and denied an exchange that followed policy 100%, AVOID. I think it's likely they infrequently follow the return policy, and are likely getting out of doing it by blaming user error. Folks may accept this because it's easier than fighting back, only did I get my return because I defended my case heavily and didn't back down.

No one has time to tolerate a boy and his temper tantrum when all he has to do was his job. Grow up and do your job lil' punk@$$! I explained to her about my last not-so-lovely visit and she was horrified. This time around, there was no pushy sales tactics. I knew that I needed some topical balm (Dragon Balm) and she got me exactly what I needed. I asked her about some edibles and she suggested Swell brand fruit bursts (similar to Starburst fruit chews in taste, she said). I haven't tried them yet as I have a caregiver at my apartment and I don't want to be zoned out and scare her. LOL. I got a bit of a discount for giving Origins another try and I must say, Mina is a great salesperson and is more concerned with the customer's needs than pushing whatever "flavor of the week" silliness. I am definitely coming back here! Canna West is still not handicap-accessible and their attitude regarding accessibility is very backwards. Origins Cannabis, you have redeemed yourself in my opinion.

The online ordering is easy and usually ready within 15 minutes, I've only ever had to wait in a line (that was five total minutes of waiting) once even though I've made dozens of visits here. The selection is solid and consistent. The flower, concentrate, edibles, and prerolls are all reasonably priced for Seattle. Lastly,the staff is super friendly - going so far as to explain in detail why I should be in the rewards program and honoring previous transactions into the program which ended up getting me significant savings on my next few trips. I am loyal to Origins for as long as I live in West Seattle. Keep doing what yall do!
