Bowling here is still good but the food was the issue when we went here about a month ago. Service…read morewas slow, poor girl had to be the cashier for bowling, server for the food and everything in between. They were definitely shorthanded. Food took a long time to get and three out of the four pizzas we ordered was supposed to be on cauliflower crust but I think only one was. The pizzas did taste good even though it wasn't accurate. One of our burgers never showed up either which was a bummer. Server did tell us they were still working on it, but it never came out. When we asked if we could just take it to go, they said they didn't even start on it yet. Pretty disappointing. The stars are for the bowling alley only.

Came here looking for a burger and milkshake after hiking in a nearby town with my daughter. Had…read morehigher hopes for this mountain town diner. The place is pretty run down which isn't an issue for me if service and food are decent. There was one waitress for the entire joint. She was nice but overworked and therefore took her a long time just to stop by our table. Ok, that's fine. The real problem was that there was only one cook too. By the time I realized the mistake I had made by staying here, it was too late. It took 55 minutes from when we sat down to when we were served lunch. There were maybe 4-5 average size parties of people there in booths of about 2-5 people each. The dessert menu was entirely cake and pie from the dessert counter but the rotating dessert refrigerator had literally one pie in it and a piece of another pie that looked like it had been in there awhile. The pie refrigerator itself looked unsanitary. The bathrooms are in desperate need of basic maintenance/renovation--I pee in a lot of pit toilets and honeybuckets so a gross bathroom doesn't usually phase me, but being a foodservice business, the condition of the bathroom was alarming. The food was as expected--the chicken ranch bacon wrap was very large but I didn't taste much chicken, mostly just mayo, lettuce and bacon bits. The burger looked decent and the fries were standard frozen deep fried which were fine. I really do like to support mountain diners when I come off long hikes, but this one didn't hit the mark this time. Even just one more extra hand would have made a world of a difference.

We come mainly for brunch on Saturdays at 11:00 am (occasionally Friday or Sunday) and sit in a booth. Here about every 6 to 8 weeks and shocked I haven't written a review yet! Server / main front of house person always remembers us and is kind and super friendly, even when she's busy. It's a diner with reasonable prices - I've had the breakfast sandwich, corned beef hash, mix of Ala carte side options, main breakfast with meat, omelette or scramble... my dad usually gets the 55+ 2 egg Denver omelette and my brother will change it up, too. It's also kid friendly, if you want to bring a kiddo. Food is always good, I try to remember not to eat a first breakfast at home in the morning when we come out so I'm hungry. Nice to have a regular spot to go to when we visit where we know the food will be good and the people are nice.

If you know us, you know we live for a good dive! It was a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty scarce. There was a large group when we first got there but they headed out and it was just us a few others. Classic dive on the inside and a nice bartender as well. This place is a true TAVERN. No hard alcohol, just beer, cider, wine, seltzers. Prices were incredibly affordable - four drinks after tip was only $25! The beer garden area is chaotic and I mean this in the best way. Exactly the type of beer garden I wanna see at a dive. There was a ton of space out there too! The ONLY gripe we had was that the smell of the fryer was extremely overwhelming. Normally it doesn't bother me much but it was SO strong here so we opted to sit outside because just being in there to order gave me a borderline headache from the smell. Truly was a great find! We're never in the area so it's unlikely we'll return, but we definitely would if we found ourselves here again.

We got a pleasant surprise and we always love these unexpected surprises like this when on our travels. I always like getting a good wheat beer and this was a good one! Steve tried a different beer and that was good too. The folks that run the place are really friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Good brewery and looking forward to making a stop whenever I'm back in the area.

What's amazing to me is that there were multiple workers but no one had the common sense to say, hey, dogs need to wait outside or at least not on the table with the food. But that didn't happen. So we didnt happen to eat there.
