Get to know the farmer and make wise choices. We have tried a few different beef farmers in the area and Cartwright is by far the best value and quality we have found to date.

I had initially wanted to try their beef chuck ribs but it did not look as good as it did on their website so I passed on it. Instead, I settled on the marinated sirloin that the Wild Fork food truck outside was offering as a free sample, as these were so yummy. We are usually not big sirloin fans but their samples were THAT good that we ended up buying the exact product we sampled. I am not sure if the food truck is there all the time but when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the Wild Fork food truck was parked in front of the store in the parking lot, offering generous amount of free samples of their product. When we went, they were offering the marinated sirloin and pulled pork, both of which were delicious! I would also like to commend them for keeping their store impeccably clean, including the washrooms for their shoppers. It was refreshing to see a store like this that offers washrooms for their shoppers and keep it spa level clean. Thank you!
