I had initially wanted to try their beef chuck ribs but it did not look as good as it did on their website so I passed on it. Instead, I settled on the marinated sirloin that the Wild Fork food truck outside was offering as a free sample, as these were so yummy. We are usually not big sirloin fans but their samples were THAT good that we ended up buying the exact product we sampled. I am not sure if the food truck is there all the time but when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the Wild Fork food truck was parked in front of the store in the parking lot, offering generous amount of free samples of their product. When we went, they were offering the marinated sirloin and pulled pork, both of which were delicious! I would also like to commend them for keeping their store impeccably clean, including the washrooms for their shoppers. It was refreshing to see a store like this that offers washrooms for their shoppers and keep it spa level clean. Thank you! Our first visit was such a pleasant one and I can't wait to try out more of their product soon!

The feed is gown on site and ranges between legumes, grain and pasture hayage. They do not use growth hormones or steroids. Whenever possible they use the concept of organic practices. We have bought various cuts of pork which all were superb, but the smoked cured bacon is amazing. We loved it so much that we bought all the bacon from a 1/2 hog once. However it's in such demand that obtaining that much at once is rare. However you can buy a 1/2 or whole hog and get all of the cuts at the same time. Stan and Mary Ann are wonderfully friendly people and will talk about and explain anything you ever wanted to know about their farm or farming in general. Call ahead to ensure someone will be home when you stop by. Advance ordering is recommended
