I ordered a drip coffee, served in a fancy-schmancy mug, and a 'Brekky" sandwich with bacon on sourdough (good choice). The coffee was strong and hot, and the freshly-made sandwich was piled high and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, but not quiet. Most book stores are considered a calm and relatively quiet place and, at least on this day, was not the case. On the bottom floor of the bookstore (with GREAT acoustics, mind you) sat two people who were having such a loud conversation that it echoed throughout the entire place. Not the worst thing I suppose but this convo happened to be full of f-bombs and just generally negative and nasty comments. I was somewhat disappointed to find that the store only contains romance books. But I mean, what should I expect from a place called Its a Love Story. But I can get over that.
