Can Bucco accommodate a small private party of around 30 people?

I dont believe they have a private room, so you would most likely have to rent out the restaurant as it is a semi small location and i'm not sure if that's something they'd be willing to do?

Is there lot parking or on street parking?

Both, their is parking on the street plus a parking garage right across the street from the restaurant, also a municipal lot on the corner. Plenty of parking available.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived, with both indoor and outdoor dining, but they were expecting us for our reservation and seated us right away. The front-of-house staff was warm, friendly and even remembered my husband from when he called to make the reservation. The food was the standout. I ordered the short rib, which arrived with quite the presentation, a huge bone topped with incredibly tender, shaved short rib and mixed vegetables. It was delicious and the portion was enormous. I shared some with my husband at dinner, took the rest home, and we still managed to turn the leftovers into an omelet a couple of days later! My husband ordered the double-thick pork chop and loved it. We also shared the fried shrimp and calamari appetizer, and both the marinara and aioli were excellent. One small area for improvement would be helping the younger waitstaff become a little more comfortable guiding guests through the menu. When we asked for recommendations and what dishes the restaurant was especially known for, it took a little prompting before we got to Parmigiano. Our server was perfectly nice. It just would have elevated the experience to have someone confidently say, "This is what we do exceptionally well, and here's what I recommend." Overall, though, we had exactly the kind of evening we needed. We brought a bottle of wine, relaxed, talked, enjoyed the atmosphere and genuinely felt like we had gotten away for a while. Our bill came in at the $100 range, and we left completely satisfied. Great food, generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere and excellent value. We'll absolutely return.

We…read moretypically dine out at least once to twice a week and this is always one of the regular places we choose because the food and service are consistently above average to excellent. This review is from our meal on August 30, 2026. While the menu has been changed from time to time, it does not happen frequently. However, there are often a variety of special additions. One item on the menu we have ordered in every visit is the shrimp appetizer, which I mentioned in my original review. It used to be called shrimp arrabbiata. Now it's called garlic shrimp (according to the online menu, but believe it's baked garlic shrimp on the actual menu). By any name it's not to be missed. I believe it used to be 8 shrimps, which at some point was trimmed to 7 shrimps). The size are large to near jumbo, easily more than a single bite, easily U-25, but maybe not quite U-15 sized. The sauce is so good it's worth finishing with the consistently delicious warm rolls being used to soak up every last drop, or spooned out of the bowl like soup. It's spicy, but not overpowering. This is a must order for shrimp lovers. I usually order one of the many house-pastas. My wife is usually ordering one of the fresh fish offerings. The scallops are a hit too, as is the risotto, though I still nix the chorizo, which I'm typically then rewarded with extra crab. The service is very accommodating in every respect, willing to make every reasonable adjustment. Desserts are typically good, but also typical to all Italian eateries. They used to have a must-have mousse concoction that disappeared after a while. That was a mistake, as it was exceptional.

Some standouts were the ravioli appetizer, very delicious and the rigatoni with truffle butter, which was a special, was also a favorite of mine. We also ordered the chicken vodka Parm pie which was very good. The chicken was very crispy and the pizza was still delicious the next day when we had the leftovers. This was only our second time visiting PR, but I'm sure it won't be our last. This time (my birthday) we were the first to arrive and had our choice of seating and the music was at a very nice level. Our server, Anijan (sp?) convinced us to try the 5 course Omakase, (chef's choice) although my wife and I had discussed the possibility before we came. I was a little afraid I would leave hungry, but that wasn't the case. Portions are not huge, but we were well satisfied when we left. I can't remember the all the finer points of these 5 wonderful dishes, but they were as follows: Porcini mushroom arancini, unagi gnocchi, shrimp scampi, porcini rubbed hanger steak with grilled fingerling potatoes and finally bao bun Zeppolis or mochi ice cream. (one of each) I was pleased that the room was at nice level of noise, but like I said, we were early on a Monday night. Anijan our server was very attentive and explained the wonderful dishes as they came out. This is a BYOB, which we love and will definitely help bring us back again, very soon.

Great concept and a new FOODIE term out there " Wafu-Italian" which is a meld between Japanese & Italian ( heck, someone had to eventually invent it ) Street parking and a huge parking garage about 1 block away. There is no sign during the day at this restaurant; at night an overhead spotlight beams the name on the sidewalk; Considering the street # ( 13) is painted to blend in with the facade, we walked past the place 3 times before realizing this was it......Really? Is that supposed to make it seem like a "speakeasy \ in-the-know" kind of place. ( Hope not, it's pretentious if it was) Staff was great. Our waitress ( from Boston) was super helpful & friendly. Ambience is "city vibe". Splashes of paint here & there with plenty of black painted walls & Asian accents. (I personally am not a fan of bathrooms that are so blacked out anything could be in there with you..it's about maintaining a clean environment) THE FOOD---We tried many apps & entrees; Keep in mind the menu is altered frequently. I attached a pic of one from mid-August. Portions are fair\healthy. You'll be full, not stuffed. APPS...... -The Cucumber Salad is one of the freshest, best items on the menu. -The Porcini ( mushroom) rice-balls were ok; but not at 5 small ones for $40 -The clams on focaccia bread was very good. Need more focaccia for dunking! The sauce was killer! -The cacio & pepe Gyoza ( dumplings), just "meh". ENTREES... --the Miso Cod; is a dish I just love; very good example here --Hanger Steak Carbonara was good, nice mashed potatoes --Wagyu short rib also a "good" choice. ( yes, I mean JUST good) --the brothless Ramen Shrimp Scampi was the winner here. An excellent pasta dish full of flavor. Great choice. DESSERT... not here....plenty of coffee shops, etc in Montclair within walking distance. We were told no coffee ( only tea) and only 1 dessert ( a bao bun confection with Nutella & powdered sugar). How boring ! No coffee? Never heard of such a thing. and isn't EVERYONE doing a version of zeppoles in Nutella sauce these days. Really disappointed in this. Let's hope a few tweaks brings this new Felice outpost inline with some of the other restaurants he has.

Rather than scrap the plan, we pivoted to Matthew's Italian Restaurant at the suggestion of one of the guys in the crew. What a great find. We were pleasantly surprised that an old school spot like this had somehow escaped us all these years. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for, the staff was awesome, and most importantly, the food delivered. We came out swinging with Clams Oreganata, Meatballs, Stuffed Mushrooms, Mozzarella Carrozza, and two different types of Ravioli. Needless to say, the table filled up pretty quickly. For dinner, most of the crew went with either the Veal Parm or Chicken Parm. A nice touch is that they'll do the parm with vodka sauce if you want to switch things up. I went with the steak special and had absolutely no regrets. Dessert was on point too, but I'll leave a little something to your imagination. As a passionate food enthusiast, I'm constantly seeking out memorable dining experiences that tantalize the taste buds and leave a lasting impression. Bucco in Bloomfield exceeded all expectations and delivered an exceptional culinary journey that I won't soon forget. My wife and I chose Bucco to celebrate our anniversary on a Saturday evening, and from the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication. Live music added to the ambiance, setting the stage for what would be an unforgettable evening. As we perused the menu, we found ourselves torn between several enticing options. While my selection was delightful, it was my wife's dish that truly stole the show--a succulent fried chicken accompanied by perfectly cooked spinach. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. But the true star of the evening was the tiramisu. With its luscious layers of creamy mascarpone cheese, delicate ladyfingers, and a hint of espresso, it was a dessert lover's dream come true. In fact, it's safe to say that Bucco's tiramisu has set a new standard for excellence in my book. What truly impressed us, beyond the impeccable cuisine, was the affordability of our dining experience. Despite indulging in two appetizers, two entrees, and dessert, our bill remained remarkably reasonable--a testament to Bucco's commitment to providing exceptional value to its patrons. In summary, Bucco in Bloomfield is a true culinary gem that has rightfully earned its place among the top dining destinations in the area. From the elegant ambiance to the impeccable service and, most importantly, the extraordinary cuisine, every aspect of our experience was nothing short of perfection. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a memorable meal, Bucco is sure to exceed your expectations. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu, confident that each visit will be as delightful as the last. Bucco has undoubtedly earned a place in our hearts--and on our list of favorite restaurants. read more

Where do I begin? I am usually not a confrontational person, and it takes A LOT for me to be negative about anything or anyone. But I cannot hold back on how bad this place was. First of all even before I talk about the service and the food, is the fact that the owners are racist. One of our family members is Asian American, and when he wrote a review was told by the owner to take his f&&@; Chinese food and eat elsewhere. Reviews are reviews, good or bad, no reason to make it a racial incident, that was just bad taste period. I get restaurants are busy, and we did have a large party at least 25, but all the more reason to give better service, especially for the price. I always believe in the benefit of the doubt, but it was really bad. My daughter wanted a water, so we asked for one, we were there for an hour at least she asked for a water politely 4 times. We were told "all water is coming out". And it did, but an hour later, after the appetizers. There was a point where I literally was going to get a glass and go to the kitchen and get it myself. The eggplant appetizer and the stuffed clams were delicious, but that's where it ends. I had the shrimp scampi entree and I honestly think they were frozen, and defrosted in a bucket of water that had previously had bleach in it. I told my mom it tasted "bleachy" to me. She said, "well you sent me home with your leftovers, and did you notice they weren't clean, and still had poop in them?" We will never go back there. I felt rushed and really wanted to spend more time with my family. Another thing. You have to pre-order appetizers, and we wanted two more of the eggplant appetizers. They were going to charge us an enormous amount extra per person (at 25 people) for them. We frequent another restaurant called Bosphorus in Nutley and they would have given them to us no charge! Why didn't we just go there you ask? We definitely will from now on! read more

So .. I'm very upset to have to write this review but here goes . My son in law wrote a review about our experience last night . We had a party of 23 for my husband . Honestly I feel that they could not handle the pressure . Everyone called me today to complain. The service was poor as well . With that said , we had a great time . The owner Frank did come over to make things right so I will give him that . The next part is very upsetting . Frank actually called me to talk about the review . We were frequent visitors in Clifton and never had a problem . He asked me to look at the review and have it taken down . Yelp is for people to give their experience and owners must deal with the good and bad . I spoke to my son in law who is Asian American and he called Frank to discuss . Well after a few words , frank told him to take his Chinese food and eat it at home and shove the F'n review up is a**.I am stunned and in disbelief that racism is still alive and well in today's age . My intent was to try again with just my husband but now I'm so disgusted and offended . Frank also told him that everyone called him after they read the review and laughed at him . This behavior will never be tolerated by me or my family ... or everyone we know that loves to go out . read more

Unfortunately, while mixing my cacio e pepe, I found a hair in my food. I didn't make a huge scene about it, but finding hair in food is a major issue for me personally. The staff handled the situation professionally -- they remade my dish, didn't charge me for it, and both the manager and waitress personally apologized, which I appreciated. My lower rating is solely because of that experience. That said, I would still recommend this place because the food and service were otherwise very good. I just wanted to share my honest experience with others.

We were celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was excellent! The service was excellent. Today (8/26/2026 in the early afternoon), the food was again excellent. The owner was very responsive to a concern that I had (not food related) I highly recommend Luciano's! Thank you. Jerry Boyle, Wayne, NJ

The Linguini guiliano (shrimp, shitake mushrooms, parmigiano cheese) in a pesto cream sauce was something I've never had before, but pretty sure I'll order it again. Great service and a similar ambiance will hopefully keep Luciano's in business for a long time.

I've been meaning to come here for years. I took the girl I used to babysit out for a dinner date…read morethis past Saturday. The menu is huge. The specials menu could have been the full menu in itself! The cocktail menu also had a lot of good options; had a hard time choosing. We started with a Shirley temple, thyme out and calamari. She had the pesto bucatini with an added burrata and I had the truffle tagliatelle from the specials menu. The thyme hot cocktail was delicious. We also got complimentary bread and marinara. The bread was soft and tasty. The calamari was light and ok. My date enjoyed her pasta; said she always gets it when she comes here. My tagliatelle pasta was DELICIOUS. The restaurant is cute and all the staff are so nice. Plenty of parking but unfortunately it's paid parking (not a deal breaker though!) Some of the options are on the pricier side but normal for the area and worth the price. Told my husband we have to come here so he can try!

It was so good we asked for more , diets be damned . Next I had the chicken milanese which was very tasty . Dessert was pistachio ice cream . My date had the chicken marsala ( eye rolls as he never deviates) and it was really good . It was a huge portion and lots of sauce and mushrooms. It was really good . The service was good, they were attentive . plenty of parking , dinner was 40 bucks for two. would definitely go back . I came on Sunday when they do there a la carte menu. Between three of us we had 6 different dishes so tried about half the menu. The only nitpicky thing was the chicken Roulade did not have much of mushroom taste. Everything else we tried that included steak tartare, tomatoes, halibut, panna cotta and chocolate dessert were all good. Though food is Michelin quality service is more casual. Perfect spot for date night, celebrate something or just feel like having a great meal.
