What a great experience at this location! Senay and Ken offered great service. The food was delicious as always, however be aware that the large buca size is VERY big. We had lots of leftovers to bring home. When we first arrived it was freezing in the restaurant, but they catered to our party and lowered the air conditioning per our request. I have been to this restaurant once before and this was my second time. It's all family style, meaning that the food comes in LARGE portions. So for a party of 4, you can order two meals and split it between the four. No one should order their own meal, unless you want left overs, but these Vegas hotels do not have fridges! Our server was prompt and hilarious! We made some small talk and shared pictures of our cats. So much fun. The restaurant was pretty big, large tables of large parties and smaller table for a family. The food was in fact big portions and so good! Totally forgot to take a picture of the actual meal because we were so hungry. We got spaghetti and meatballs and chicken Marsala. It was so good!! We went here on a Sunday evening and the wait was long even with reservations. We had to come back on a weekday where it is not that busy. I enjoyed the healthy bug portion lasagna. The sampler platter was a big portion that can be served as a main entrée. The ambiance is casual. Do not expect to be served right away. Buca is always a must! It was my friend's birthday and he loves pasta, so we came here! It was a couple of my friends first times ever eating at Buca. We obviously started with some drinks and appetizers! My boyfriend and I got the Bruschetta, my friends got the salad and some spicy shrimp! For our drinks we got an espresso martini, a margarita and a couple of sangria drinks. So tasty! For our entrees, we got the shrimp scampi. Everything was so filling! Anytime you come here, sharing food is a must! We had excellent service, the waiter was very friendly and fast! Great Italian food if you like family style dining. The restaurant is full of pictures and things to look at and had a very home style Italian look to it. Service was a little backed up to some big parties at the moment but overall the service was good. We ordered the chicken fettuccine with garlic bread and Caesar salad. Our meal also came with bread and butter. Our salad was brought out with the pasta which would have been nice if it came out a little earlier but what can you do? The pasta was amazing and we had plenty as it was just the two of us eating. We've eaten here before with a big party and even tried other locations in California and it compares to those as well. I ordered on-line for take out. When I arrived the order was not ready. Apparently, there was a system problem and the order never made it to the kitchen. I waited 30 minutes while the order was being prepared, which defeats ordering on-line. I arrived home to find the fettuccine alfredo sauce separated with a texture resembling cottage cheese. The Spaghetti with meatballs priced at $38 was described to feed 3-4 people with 2 medium sized meatballs. We did not enjoy this food. Waste of money and disappointing experience. read more

The Chicken Marsala was on point I really liked the sauce and mushrooms. Nice and heartfelt. The spaghetti and meat sauce had a great flavor we all really enjoyed the sauce. Had lunch here the other day and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our server, Ken, was the epitome of hospitality from finding and bringing our friends to the table, bringing out the plates to show us the portion sizes, giving his expert opinion on great things to order, timing everything perfectly, and having everything for us before we even knew we needed it. The food was delicious. We started with caesar salad, moved into mozarella garlic bread, penne alla vodka, and quattro al forno. Of course, it's never a meal without dessert, so we dove into the colossal brownie sundae, and left feeling way too overstuffed, but totally worth it. Definitely feel we got a great value for our meals as everything is served family style and we ended up boxing a good amount of food. Went to Buca with the family and sat at the kitchen table. Wonderful experience that brought us back from our first time dining in with our son in D.C. nearly twenty years ago. The people were awesome, in particular Katrina and Ken welcomed us and made us feel at home. The overall service was great, efficient, and friendly.
