This little pizza shop in the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas is quite the sleeper hit. It's so nondescript and not flashy but it's really good and has a great selection of items. I've had pizza, salad and sandwiches from this spot now and I have not tried a bad thing here. I'm never around for breakfast but I'd be really excited to try it one day. The best pizza is definitely the ricotta but it's all good, with a great crust. The people who work here are friendly and quick with service. I've never had a complaint about the service here. The place does feel a bit tight and there isn't a lot of space to sit but they work with what they have and do different kinds of seating where it fits. Located inside the Virgin Hotel, this place is open 24-7 with late-night eats, including whole pizzas & pizza by the slice, calzones, subs & more. They also do a variety of things early in the morning for breakfast like breakfast burritos, waffle sandwich & protein bowls. Very convenient as most of the restaurants close early in the hotel so if you make your way back to the hotel late at night, know that you have this place to grab something to eat and drink. The vibe said it all as I returned at 3:30 AM, only to find others trying to knock off their tipseyness with some slices of pizza... but it was a good vibe with everyone and plenty of jokes being made and lots of fun being had! Pizza slices are reasonably priced, and they have a fountain Coke along with a coffee and tea. The other nice thing is they have televisions inside, as a restaurant is located on the corner of the walkway, so depending on what side you enter it's like an L shape to get in and out. We stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with the large breakfast menu, $2 refillable coffee and most of all, the wonderful service! The lady at the cash register was adorable! She had such personality and was so friendly and hospitable (blonde gal). She welcomed us back for coffee any time for the $2 and answered questions about the menu with ease. We instantly liked her and plan to go back after enjoying a $11 breakfast burrito that is ample and packed to the brim with chorizo, eggs, peppers and potato. The salsa on the side came free and was really good! I also saw many economical options like oatmeal for $2.95, a breakfast calzone or pizza for $6.95! This place rocks when it comes to cheap and good dining. my only complaint is that they don't ask you if you're doing takeout or eating in the establishment and they packaged your food up in a plastic bag, which is completely unnecessary. On a recent trip to Vegas, we needed something late night but didn't want to break the bank. This hit the spot. The pizza is fine, nothing really spectacular but the portions are good, the service was fast, and it was really reasonably priced. I will say that we got a side salad that was large enough to share and the vinaigrette dressing and the salad itself were fantastic (definitely outshined the pizza). However, for a meal for two in Vegas for around $20, it was fantastic. I would definitely stop in again if we're at Virgin. read more

No ambiance whatsoever. Think disorganized fast food pizza joint with a few sparse tables that have seen better days. Service workers were inattentive and seemed confused. Poor guy before us waited more than 20 minutes just to get an order of fries. Pretty sure they forgot to get our calzone into the oven. They put a slice of pepperoni pizza into a warmer and boxed it. The calzone took 20-25 minutes. By the time we got the calzone the pizza was old cold. And it had been sitting for way too long before we got here. I'm going to rate this the worst overpriced pizza I've ever had. It made Little Caesars seem great by comparison. The calzone was hot and wasn't bad. The experience was pretty awful. This pizza shop located inside the virgin hotel is a must try if you're staying there or going to an event! We did a mini staycation and decided to try this spot for breakfast after we checked out! They have the regular lunch menu and a breakfast menu! I ended up getting the chorizo burrito and my hubby got their egg sandwich. We got a cheese pizza to go for my kiddo! Stayed at the hotel for business and was planning to try Pizza Forte the night I arrived, but even though they're open 24/7, I got in late and was just too tired. Ended up going the next morning and tried the breakfast instead. I had the breakfast burrito--it was a bit smaller than I expected for $11 (not unusual with Vegas pricing), but it was really good, especially with the French fries inside. Friendly service too. For being inside of a hotel, it was actually pretty good. The New York style pizza was a good size and was yummy. The Caesar salad was also really good, fresh and the croutons taste homemade. Staff were friendly and the place itself is a little small but has plenty of seating. It's a Meh* place inside the Virgin Hotel Casino resort which is where is located at. If it's after hrs and nothing is open, then I can see where any can go for some grub. The business capitalises on the ins and out of foot traffic so it's why the place holds. A slice is OK by taste and will run you about $9.12 ($8.94 by cash). If your a cross the way, there's SBarro that's across the street, or better yet there's a 5min drive to Ellis Island's Metro Pizza down the block on Koval for $4.38 a slice (Thursday's a BOGO deal). Parking is easy if you park in one of the structures. It's in the middle of the casino somewhat small, but there is seating and a self service soda area. I can't speak for pasta/salad/sandwiches because I didn't try them, but the pizza is awesome and you can get it by the slice. On a whirlwind tour of NYC pizza slices in Vegas, I've now had the opportunity to try them at three different spots. Pizza Forte was the third and although it was pretty good, and legitimately a NYC slice with the requisite super thin and crispy crust, I'd have to put it as number 3, (but again still pretty good.!) I found the place because it happened to be in the Virgin Hotel where I was staying and I thought, why not wander the casino and see if they have NYC slices. (It seems most resort casinos have everything so it was a go...umm...bet.) Sure enough Pizza Forte popped up just off the casino. It was pretty dead upon my late-night stumbling in. There were a handful of slices under the display case ready to be heated up. I had a cheese because that's the litmus test for pizza at a new place. It did the job. Perfectly crispy just like back in the old neighborhood. (I mean someone's old neighborhood, I'm sure.) Maybe the cheese-to-sauce ratio was not quite what I wanted. (I like a little more sauce and a little less cheese.) But I devoured the whole thing. I think there's probably an emotional component to pizza in any particular genre. Once you find your favorite slice...it will always be your favorite slice...And no matter how good another spot's slices are, if they aren't quite the same, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it, it's just not the pizza slice that resonates as strongly with you. The prices are a little steep, but it seems all pizza everywhere is these days. There are way more employees than customers so you will often see 4 or 5 people standing around talking amongst each other instead of attending to their duties. The seating is limited so you can sit at a couple small tables eating your pie while listening to the hotel service elevators whiz by (tables right next to the service elevator doors) or take it on the run. My husband and I have been to Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan and Good Pie off the strip which we enjoy, prior to Pizza Forte. We were excited to try something new and being from downstate NY I enjoy a NY slice above everything. Pizza Forte was delicious and the girls working were very friendly. The red sauce was delicious, the cheese to sauce ratio was , the crust and the way it flopped when I picked it up lol!!
