I love Buc-ee's! It is always a 5 start stop for me! They are open 24 hours, have nice, big clean bathrooms, delicious barbecue, cheap drinks and snacks, and a million other things to look at!

Buc-ee's is just great. There is something for everyone. I usually find something everytime that I didn't know they had. The store is clean, the employees are friendly and they might have the cleanest restrooms. Someone is always in there cleaning. It's great. The food is good, the prices fair and a great experience.

Stopped by Buc-ee's and my sister was showing me around after getting some gas. It smelled amazingly very sweet as I entered the store. Tortillas that worker was flipping smelled really good. Too bad we've already had lunch. They had all sorts of souvenir to choose from. From clothes to holloween plates, plushie, food and etc. My sister said they have the most cleanest bathroom for an gas stop. She was right!

Stopped at Buc-ee's in Texas and finally got to see what all the hype was about! This location was one of the smaller stores, but there was still SO much to look at. Everything is definitely on the pricey side, but there are fun little trinkets and souvenirs for every budget. The BBQ sandwich was absolutely amazing and worth the stop by itself. And yes -- the bathrooms really are spotless like everyone says. There's honestly so much to explore that I already want to come back and spend more time looking around!

Wow, cloths, food, and gas! Largest gas station in the ever been to. Even has home goods items.

    The description cracks me up.

OMG! Buc-ees! People are obsessed with Buc-ees! Believe me when I say the obsession is real. Established in 1982, this Texas based chain is known for its clean bathrooms, biggest ever soda fountain bars, Southern Products, and multiple fueling stations. I'm telling you; it's like the Disneyland of convenience stores. The chain has even won recognition for having the world's longest car was (255 ft) and the Luling, Tx location has been recognized as the World's largest convenience store (75,593 sq ft). You'll most likely experience sensory overload on your first visit. This place has everything from home décor, knickknacks, plushies, homemade fudge, their famous banana pudding, and Buc-ee's themed clothing. Seriously, where else can you find 7lb buckets of bacon grease and an entire wall dedicated to jerky. They even have their own Road Trip candle scent with aromas of rich smoked brisket, sugar-glazed pecans & velvety fudge fueled by full tanks, open roads, & that classic pit stop pilgrimage. LOL! So next time you're on a road trip be sure to stop at Buc-ees, pick up some Beaver Nuggets for the road, and stay until you hear, "Fresh sauce on the board." IFYKYK.

Not that this place needs my review. But we live close by and spend way too much time and money here lol Stop for the restrooms, refreshments, and food. But stay for the merch, baked goodies, jerky, fresh nuts & fudge, and adorable merch!

I was introduced to Buc ees way back in 2023 when I went to South Carolina, I fell in love with this chain. They're family friendly, perfect for my kids, have cool merchandise, and the bakery has awesome items. I was shocked. Always a good time at buc'ees, but I wish the gas price was lower like it used to be. Hopefully this winter it will be! I miss the ball park style pecans already!

When are you gonna have your beef jerky back? We have come there several times and the cases have been empty.

I physically can't pass a Buc-ee's without stopping to load up on all my favorites. It's like a magnet to me. This was my first visit to the Melissa location. My daughter and I were in town for a wedding, and the bride decided, spur of the moment, that she absolutely needed some Beaver Nuggets packed in her suitcase for her honeymoon early the next morning. So naturally, we headed straight to the Beaver. The minute we walked in, our wedding party turned every head in the building. The tipsy bride in her massive wedding gown & tiara power-walking through every aisle in search of her Beaver Nuggets was pure comedy. We were all dressed to the nines, surrounded by "The Beaver" in all his glory, and I could not stop laughing. It honestly felt like we were filming Bridesmaids 3. It was fantastic. I managed to break away from the group to stock up on my own Buc-ee's favorites to pack in my suitcase for my flight home the next morning. Worth every penny! As with all Buc-ee's locations, this one delivered. Spotless restrooms, an impressive variety of hot and cold food options, and so much merchandise you could easily replace every item in your house with the Beaver's face. I also topped off the rental car, and that tank stayed full all the way to DFW, so no extra gas stops before returning it. Another win! I highly recommend this Melissa location. If you see the sign, do yourself a favor and stop. You will be glad you did. As for the bride, she boarded her plane at dawn, honeymoon-bound, and her suitcase zipped tight with her precious Beaver Nuggets safely tucked inside. Now that's true love!

My grand babes and I love this place. Snacks, food to go, decor, grocery items, cleanest restrooms, gas pumps for miles and plenty of ample parking. What's not to love about this place. Seems the grand babes always need a new Buc-ee's T-Shirt and some new Buc-ee stuffed animal. Kinsley the 5 year old has started having meltdowns if she can't find the mascot Buc-ee. Always needs to find him, lol. Peyton now 8 just rows her eyes even tho she too loves him as well. Heading to and from Dallas, it's a must stop for our family. Don't forget to grab some Beaver Nuggets to snack on. #MelissaTexas #CollinCounty

Well, it's been a minute since I've been to a Buc-ee's... and wow. They really said, "Let's overstimulate every single sense this human has," and I respect that. To say you might be on sensory overload is an understatement. This place could take up your entire day if you don't pace yourself. One half looks like a local mall where you could probably buy a whole new personality, and the other half is basically a grocery store selling everything from homemade jerky to cookies baked with the confidence of someone who knows they'll be sold out by noon. And the cleanliness? Listen... I've been in hospitals that weren't as spotless as this Buc-ee's. The food prep area looked like it had its own cleaning crew watching the cleaning crew. The fountain drink/ICEE zone? Immaculate. Fully stocked. Not a single sticky spot in sight -- which feels physically impossible for a soda area, yet here we are. The bathrooms? With that much foot traffic, I expected chaos. Instead... clean. Fresh. Like they had a bathroom team on standby whispering, "Not on my watch." Parking? You could host the Olympics in that lot. Your local Walmart wishes it had this kind of real estate. I swear they built this place with the assumption that every visitor brings a truck, a trailer, and maybe a backup trailer. The gas pumps? I saw box trucks, a dude hauling a whole shipping container. I stopped counting after pump #100. If you're waiting for a pump at Buc-ee's, it's because you don't feel like walking the extra half mile to the store, and honestly... relatable. Every employee I talked to was friendly, helpful, and probably caffeinated lol. I got asked if I needed help at least six times in my 30-minute stop. At a gas station. A gas station. Who does that lol. And yes -- I did, in fact, make a dedicated trip to a gas station. I had to see what the hype was about. Walked out with homemade cookies and two brisket sandwiches like it was the most normal thing ever.

    Ask the Community - Buc-ee's

We were visiting the Buckees in Melissa. Why did they take Frito burritos off of their menu?

They mentioned in 2022 that low selling items or items with vendor issues were being removed from the store. Not sure if that applies, but they no longer have the corn nuggets, ranch corn nuggets, certain fried fruit, and Coke Zero was removed from…

Does the Melissa location have motorized carts for customers with mobility issues?

    No they do not.

Is Apple Pay accepted at the pump?

    Yes!

Are they open on Christmas Day?

    Yes!

Does this Buc-ces have a truck wash?

No, 18-wheelers are not allowed on the lot.

When do they start serving breakfast brisket tacos in the morning?

Breakfast starts at 4:00 AM and ends at 11:00 AM.

Has anyone ever had trouble with water in the fuel or the incorrect fuel in the pump (gas instead of diesel)?

Nope. Never once had any issues.
