Goodness! This place needs some love, me thinks. Every single person who worked here was so friendly and helpful. In fact, one of the ladies who worked asked if we needed help and asked if we were finding everything we needed. i tried to buy beer from here earlier today. I'm 22 and have a state issued id (drivers license). i have never had an issue buying alcohol anywhere because I'm clearly of age. I was with my friends (22 and 23) and checking out separately because we have our own money. as I got to the register I took out my id because I know how this works I'm of age. and the lady says without hesitation "you know I was gonna ask for that". then proceeded to look at and question my id multiple times asking questions about it like why is there so much red which I don't know I got it from the dmv like everyone else. then scans it and says " well it's not expired." Which obviously I'm a server I know all the laws. Then proceeded to ask for my friends id which one didn't have hers on here and it ended in my saying whatever and and getting a refund. I get it's your job to question but to be so rude about it and question my REAL ID is insane. someone needs to have a talk with her. also she didn't need my friends ids as they wernt even touching the beer or with checking out with me. I've never experienced terrible Customer service like I did today. read more

Always AT LEAST a 15 min wait in the pharmacy drive through. They have run out of prescriptions without notifying and takes an act if Congress for them to advise other CVS pharmacies that have it in stock. I miss the Med Pro. Like with most CVS locations, hopefully a Walgreens pops up closer than McKinney. The store part is okay. read more

If I could give less than 1 star for this pharmacy, I would. The customer service from a couple of the women who work in the pharmacy is horrendous . They should not be dealing with customers at all. I had no idea that they close for lunch. I've never heard of a pharmacy closing for lunch, but whatever. I was there 2 minutes after closing. When I asked if they could just help me, all I needed was to pick up, the woman shouted at me, "I'm sorry, we're closed." You're probably reading this thinking, "well she said 'sorry'". Well I'll tell you that there was much more annoyance in her tone than there was sincerity. When I asked, where the sign is that they're closed for lunch (if I had seen a sign when I walked up, I would have just walked away, albeit still irritated but I would have just walked away) she again shouted and pointed, "It's right there!" I told her that there is no such sign. She walked out of the pharmacy, looked over to see where the sign should have been and saw that there was no sign and walked back into to pharmacy without a single word to me. Nothing. Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. I came to p/u a prescription and was told I needed to come back at 7. So, I come back at 7 and they still had me wait for over 45 minutes. The 1 star review is on the pharmacy only not the store itself. I have to pharmacy with CVS per my insurance; and well this is the one closest to my home. The pharmacy at this location is terrible.... and this was pre COVID. I understand the world is short staffed, but this place was like this prior to COVID. The drive through is not worth sitting in; usually I have to go inside to get our meds. The line inside is just as long sometimes though. I always allow myself a 30 minute window when I show up; because you're going to wait. They're texting app isn't always accurate; and well sometimes it takes days for them to even fill the script. And it's not special order meds. Sometimes there's 5 people working and other times 2 people, but the wait is still long no matter what. Worst pharmacy!! Hour wait to talk to anyone. Days to get prescriptions filled and the pharmacist is the WORST! Rude!

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!! Both my daughter and I are dealing with the flu right now. After our primary sent my daughter's prescription, later that same day I was told her medicine was ready. I get there and I'm informed they don't have any in stock. Annoyed, but no big deal. The flu is running rampant so I get it. I'm then told I WOULD need to transfer the prescription. Again annoyed but whatever let me get my baby her medicine. I call the receiving pharmacy, they tell me they have yet to get any prescriptions for us because CVS HAS YET TO RELEASE IT!!! At this point I'm over it! I call CVS and I get the worst excuse one could fathom. I talk to the pharmacist who was extremely passive aggressive both in person and over the phone. Her ignorant tail tells me well the receiving pharmacist needs to call us. Mind you I'm given the run around for 24 hours WITH A SICK CHILD!!! Whoever they have as the pharmacist, I hope she never makes another dollar in medicine! read more

I have had several prescriptions filled here and have had a terrible experience each time. I've now resulted to sharing those experiences. It should never take 45 minutes to answer a phone call from a patient needing assistance. The pharmacy should also not be allowed to turn away a driver that arrived 25 minutes in the drive through lane and then tell the patient as they pull up to the window 1 minute past closing time (only 1 minute!!!) that they will not be able to help as they are now closed. Can you even imagine that?? Both times this occurred for prescriptions for my child. Melissa CVS pharmacy you don't deserve the privilege to serve this community. CVS must do better and supply the pharmacy with the appropriate number of staff to accommodate the community they serve!! read more

If I could give a lower rating for the pharmacy itself I would. Unfortunately this one is the closest to where i live. No matter whether you go in the drive-thru or inside, expect to be waiting 30+ minutes. I have never had so many problems with picking up prescriptions. Whether it be them giving me the wrong one then telling me the right one won't be ready for several days, or giving me the wrong one then telling me they can't issue a refund because I drove off with it(even though the package is still sealed), something is always amiss. Majority of the staff is rude, especially if you have a complaint even if it was a mistake on their end. And definitely don't trust the "hElPfUl" automated texts, best bet is to call and double check every little thing. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy if you have the option. read more

First time here. At the pharmacy line. Been waiting over 30 mins and have only moved up two cars. Still have 4 cars in front of me and two cars behind me and the way this is designed with curb and huge drainage you are stuck! So total time to get to window , over 47 minutes. This is totally ridiculous. Plus they need to clean their pharmacy windows. Really dirty and like some one had some chicken express and wiped their hands on the windows. On the inside !!!! read more

My doctor sent my prescription on Friday morning. I received a message from CVS they were working on it and would call. I called Tuesday (I felt so bad, I slept most of Monday), and received a recorder message it was being processed. My husband went to CVS and they said they didn't have it, the doctor never called it in. So how did they know the name of the prescription? The doctor resent it, and I'm getting the same runaround. By far, this is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Prescriptions are never ready when they say it will be ready. This is the worst cvs. It's been over a week since I put in my RX and I still don't have my RX. They said that it's up to the vendor when the orders are placed. I have never heard of such a thing. This is after I have received 3 text saying that they just placed the order.. but some how a week later I still don't have my medication. So their solution was to call my dr. This is the worst pharmacy I have EVER dealt with. I just got home about ten minutes ago from my seventh knee surgery and they didn't even tell us when we stopped by about 25 minutes ago that they are out of my pain reliever that my surgeon called in for me, and the pharmacy is refusing to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. Sadly, this is not the first time they have not had the medication that I have needed. My mom and I have ran into the problem with them about four or five times just this year. When they first opened the people were very friendly and efficient now two to three months in the staff is rude and the pharmacy is the slowest I have ever experienced. Would give ZERO stars if it was an option! Dropped off RX/they called to clarify some info and the girl was incredibly rude and snappy. Asked to speak to her manager-she put the "pharmacist" (soumded like a 12 year old) on the phone who immediately cut me off and said "I know she already told me what happened". They both sounded like very young, inexperienced teenagers--absolutely NO customer service skills whatsoever!!! Super weirded out and disappointed in this pharmacy. We moved from Mckinney and never had issues with CVS. Messing up names on my family's prescriptions twice now.
