Am I the only one that gets excited when I see Buc-ee's from the freeway? I can't be right? As with all Buc-ee's, this location is easy in and easy out. It has tons of gas pumps with no waiting and plenty of regular parking as well if you just want to head inside. The inside is of course very clean and they have the best bathrooms of any travel stop. IYKYK. This location feels tailored to the area. It has Virginia themed merchandise mixed in with the classic Buc-ee's gear and the whole place is bright, welcoming. I love all the dog stuff like dog toys and the doggy snack bar; I only wish they would become dog friendly already. The passive aggressive signs for dog owners do get annoying but I still love the place . The employees are great and everything moves along quickly. So even if you find yourself, lingering and getting a bunch of stuff you don't need, like me, at least you won't be waiting in line too long. If you're driving through the area and you see the Buc-ee's sign do yourself a favor and pull off. Stopped here on the way driving back home from West Virginia. It was very busy, very crowded, and a little chaotic, but I was still excited to get to experience being in Buc-ee's. I had been seeing everyone going to the different locations all over TikTok, so I already had an idea of some things I wanted to try. There were a lot of options though, so it was a little overwhelming and I definitely missed some of the good stuff while I was looking through the store. I picked up one of their Brisket Burritos (9/10) it was loaded with different things inside, flavorful, and filling. Also tried the Tortilla Wrapped Sausage on a Stick (6/10) it was dry and the flavor of the sausage started to tasted funny after a few bites too. They had a big wall of many different flavors of jerky, so I picked up a few flavors to take back home for my family to try. Definitely hope a location is built closer to the Hampton roads area one day because there's so many other things I would like to try from them and also I was a big fan of the jerky, so I wanna try the other flavors of that as well. read more

Buc-ee's is absolutely what the model for a roadtrip stop should be. Over 100 gas pumps, a wide range of fresh food, a jerky bar, a bakery, and then a bunch of toys and merch you didn't know you needed. I was about 30 minutes away from this location and decided to check it out after my brother recommended the brisket sandwich. It was really solid and not just for a gas station. I also had the beaver chips-fresh cooked chips in a huge bucket for $1.99! I also purchased some Buc-ee's nuggies (white cheddar), fudge, branded chocolates, beaver keychains, a VA name keychain, a Bucc-ee's shirt, and plushies for my kids. I wish they'd build one further north because I don't anticipate being in this area again for awhile, but my first Buc-ee's experience has me hooked and looking for a reason to go back to Harrisonburg and stop in! read more

The clean restrooms alone deserve five stars, but then you add the fresh barbecue, endless snack options, and shelves full of fun souvenirs--it's unbeatable. The employee are always friendly and helpful! The prices are excellent! The food portions are quiet liberal!! Every visit feels like a mini adventure. The food is always fresh, the staff works hard to keep everything running smoothly, and there's something for everyone, whether you're hungry, shopping for gifts, or just stretching your legs. Okay... I finally get it. I understand the hype. Buc-ee's isn't a gas station... it's a whole lifestyle, a pilgrimage, an emotionally healing experience wrapped in BBQ smoke and beaver nuggets. This was my very first visit, and it was everything I hoped it would be and then some. The Food: The pulled pork sandwich? DELICIOUS. Like, shockingly good for a place with 700 gas pumps outside. Tender, flavorful, no notes. The sliced brisket wasn't my favorite (texture thing for me), but the burrito I grabbed absolutely slapped. And don't get me started on the cherry limeade and blue raspberry sodas.. pure joy in a cup. Beaver Nuggets? Obviously yes. Obviously addictive. Obviously dangerous. The Store: It's MASSIVE. Like... you think you've seen "big stores" and then you walk into Buc-ee's and suddenly you're in a Texas-sized Target/BBQ joint/gift shop/theme park hybrid run by a cartoon beaver with a dream. There's merch. There's jerky. There's Christmas gifts (yes, I bought half of them here). There are snacks you didn't know existed. There are snacks you didn't know you needed. Stopped in for a visit on our drive through Virginia. It was my dad's first time visiting, somehow he'd never even heard of Buccees! It was an early morning stop on a weekday, so not at all busy, which was nice. The store was not crowded, the bathrooms were impeccably clean, the staff friendly and happy to welcome us in We poked around the store some, seeing all the different snacks and Buccee branded paraphernalia. We picked up a couple of sausage egg and cheese biscuits to have for breakfast, and bag of Buccee nuggets to snack on later. Pricing on everything is very reasonable, and if they can make something with their logo on it, they sell it. If you've never been, you should check one out. Purposely went to Buc-ees for experience. It did not disappoint. The gas station alone is massive. The place is large. Christmas decor made it more a delightful experience with all its glitters. Inside it's like a mall. They have food, fudge, sandwiches, drinks, decors and everything. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Service was excellent. Plenty of parking because of its gigantic space. --Ambience-- Similar to all other Buc-ee, clean and well-lit --Service/Staff-- Staff is friendly and the checkout line can vary depending on the time of day you visit. --Products/Service-- Food is served all day, but after 11 or 12 am there is limited hot food options. I think the BBQ station only has pre-packaged food they just made. --Capacity-- Indoors can hold 200 plus people. Be prepared to wait in line during the peak hours or to hunt for a gas pump during the day. --Overall-- Recommend for the cleanliness and the value of the gas price you can't beat with any other station. This location isn't the biggest Bucc-ee's I've been to, but it's still massive. Like all, there's of course an unbelievable count of gas pumps (some have 000's!), but the inside store is why you go. A wide array of meal options, snacks, desserts, and beverages. If you like low&slow BBQ and/or homemade jerky, the selections are awesome, and tastes even better. From what I've seen, bathrooms are usually impeccably clean, and today was no exception. Yay! Virginia has a Buc-ees! We visited opening day. The place was packed. I visited Buc-ees in Texas. So far, the only difference between the two locations is the Mt Crawford, Virginia doesn't have large drink cozies. We tried the banana pudding, the true beaver tots, the bean potato cheese breakfast burrito, the egg brisket taco, a giant cinnamon roll, coffee & and orange flavored bang energy drink. After breakfast, we went back for round two. Hubby got a brisket sandwich. He loved it. Check the web site for the serving time of items. The breakfast brisket is released at 8am. Save your money on the wanna be tater tots. They seemed frozen, reheated & cold. The banana pudding was my favorite item. It was creamy and sweet. The egg brisket taco was tasty. The veggie burrito was average. The cheese wasn't melted. The cinnamon roll was giant and sweet. The energy drink was good. The coffee was decent. We did not get the beaver nuggets. There are several YouTube shows that list "must try at Buc-ees." There are lots of freshly prepared items including sandwiches, tacos, salads, desserts and fudge. You can sample many of the items, including jerky. The store is part 7-11 and part Walmart. You can select a slurpee or coffee. There are refillable branded coffee mugs you can buy. The paper cups are not refillable. There is so much merchandise. You can get Buc-ees branded party decorations, hats, bathing suits, onesies, jewelry, magnets, mugs, stuffed beavers, sweatshirts, socks & more. I like my soft cooler. They even have fish fryers and grills. There is another section of the store that looks like Home Goods and a bunch of Texas decorators merged. You don't have to be a cowgirl or cowboy to enjoy these awesome items (pictures, upscale decorations and home wares, gifts, clothing and a kitchen explosion of inventory) but you could at least say, "Ya'll." If you can't find a souvenir or treat for you or a loved one, it is on you and not Buc-ees. The chapstick is .99 cents. The bathroom was huge. It was super clean. This location is in the Shenandoah Valley. There are 150 gas pumps. Buc-ees is .50 cheaper a gallon than other gas stations. No trucks allowed. It is worth a visit. And another. If the beaver sees his shadow, there are six more weeks of snacks! read more

As usual Buc-ee's offers an array of goodies from soda, jerky, tobacco, shirts, home goods, canned items, and the list goes on!!!! The staff here are highly personable and attentive. They truly make Bucees what it is!! Buc-ee's, has a great value for what they offer and plenty of parking and as well as handicap. Stopped at the Buckys in Virginia on our way between my parents house and my house. I will say there's more than enough gas pumps available and no wait. I've never been to a Buckys before so we stopped here and honestly it's like a damn destination stop. It's like Christmas in a bottle. There's plenty of shopping, but there's also some very reasonable and very good food options. So much better than McDonald's, Wendy's or even a Chick-fil-A. Very much overrated and not worth the detour. Was ridiculously crowded and the traffic flow in and out was designed by someone with little to no understanding of how to manage traffic. I'm sorry but putting a "don't stop in box" sign and painting a box in your intersections is not going to fix such a poorly designed parking lot. Took forever to get out because of all the inbound traffic. Had to turn around and try several different exits before was able to get out and even then I had to wait until someone driving in stopped for me. That took a long while. The brisket sandwich was gross and overpriced. The jerky I got was ok and the fudge is average. The best part was that the excessively long lines moved quickly so I didn't have to wait as long as I was afraid I would. The gas prices were good, so if you are lucky enough to stumble across an open pump as you're circling the lot trying to get out, go ahead and top off. read more
