Pricey...okay, yes it is, BUT remember, this store is in the middle of nowhere and it's a convenient store. You pay the price for the convenience of a store not in a major town in the middle of nowhere. Just like any other convenience store ‍ With that said, this store has everything you could possibly want in the mountains. From over the counter medicine to steaks, beer, utensils, gas, ice, fire wood, slushy machine and coffee to name a few. There's too much to list, so I took many pictures with the hopes that they help others to see what they carry. I gave them 4 stars because we ordered two deli sandwiches and only one of them had everything we wanted on it even though we said on both. They first caught my attention after seeing an article in Food&Wine magazine saying they had the best country ham sandwich in Virginia, that's not a small feat in a state known for hams, but they make it old school which is hard to find anymore. The simplicity of their sandwich is almost silly, but I'll guarantee you that you'll never taste anything better if you're a lover of ham prepared in these traditional ways. The check-out clerk was friendly and efficient; products went through at their correct prices. Parking was free and plentiful, and the small shopping center where it's located is easy to access as there is a traffic light off Rte. 33.
