They replaced the roof and gutters a week after we signed the agreement. Blake and Kyle and others were great to work with and we are very satisfied with the quality of work of their crews. They were the only company that provided a detailed estimate to us. One roofing company gave us just a dollar amount and nothing in writing. Another roofing company provided an estimate but it had very little details as to what additional costs could be possibly incurred if there was any underlying roof damage. They weren't the lowest priced estimate but they were competitive with the lowest estimate received. We selected them because their online reviews were excellent and honestly those reviews are well deserved.

My experience with this company has been very good, starting with the initial visit and inspection through the installation of the gutters and downspouts. Of all the roofers I had out to give estimates, Blake and his team were the only ones to physically go up on the roof to do an inspection. All the others merely stood on the ground and did visual inspections. Blake also gave a very honest assessment of the roof's condition (i.e. that it could last another 2-3 years) whereas all the other roofers just said it needed to be replaced. This honesty was one of the reasons I gave Peerless the job. Their estimate was also very detailed, so as to make comparisons with other bids easy, whereas some of the "bids" were nothing more than a contract to sign with all the details done verbally. Once the job was started, the crew worked extremely hard, from 6:30 in the morning until after 6 at night. All landscaping was covered and the group did a conscientious clean-up when the job was complete. The gutters were done the next day and that crew also worked very fast and did a great job. All in all, Peerless did a very professional job from beginning to end. While not the cheapest company, I felt that the job they did was well worth the cost of the contract. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

They are also very good at scheduling 4 hour windows for when to expect them, but that is only because they do it so often. In my case they missed the first 3 scheduled appointments. 2 for running late, and one because they showed up but didn't have the equipment needed. The job itself was supposed to include Hot Tar Crack Fill ($100 for 10 major cracks) and Sealcoating ($150). When they arrived, the job took about 20 minutes as they applied hot tar to what I guess you could argue was 10 cracks, and then they slopped on some sealcoating that was not spread evenly leaving sealcoat squeegee marks/lines. I submitted the pictures attached here stating that I didn't think this seemed right for a $250 job and received a reply offering to redo it for an additional cost. I replied back, again pointing out that the cracks that were filled with tar was not done properly and the cracks were not filled, but did not receive a response. Just more requests to pay my overdue bill. What's even more frustrating is that the contract specifically states that there is a 2 Year Warranty for Any Hot Asphalt Services, I guess Hot Tar isn't considered a hot Asphalt Service.

I hired them to install a 12 x 14 stand alone patios on a newer construction lot. They gave me a quote that I accepted. A week later on Thumbtack it said they refused my job. I contacted them and they said it was a mistake. That. Should have been my first sign. A few days before they were to start they said they needed extra money to rent a truck. I was surprised they did not have a truck but thought I'd give them a break and pay for the truck. So I gave them the extra money they requested. When they arrived to do the job they were surprised I didn't have as wheel barrow. We don't, we are in our 70's and have someone mow the yard. I did have a garden cart I told TS Pros they could use. That was a mistake. I now need a new garden wagon. TS Pros left it unusable. I have included pictures of the finished product. Messy, crumbling, cracking.... Oh it's not level! They did not even check. TS Pros used the wrong type of stone for a solid stone base, the concrete is falling apart. It will need to be removed and redone correctly. TS pros said the job was too big and too much for them. The woman with TS pros said she knew it was too much of job for the guys when she saw it. Did she speak up, no. TS Pros didn't bring water or ice so were constantly asking for this. I finally went to Jewel and bought a cooler and ice and water for them to keep to work with. I also gave them metal insulated water bottles to keep. I figured they were just starting out and could use the help. Mistake. They finished the job in the dark!, see the pictures below. TS Pros did not clean up their work. So there junk was left. All over my yard. When I contacted them the woman from TSPro said they would need to be paid extra money to come back and clean up. She said the job was too much for them and I knew this and didn't pay them fairly. I don't know how much concrete costs. TS Pros rendered the estimate I just agreed to and did pay what they charged. The woman from TS Pros became very upset with me and kept demanding more money. Money for disposal fees. Oh at first they were going to bag up all the sod in large plastic bags and put it at the bottom of my driveway for regular trash pickup! This is illegal in my village. I ended up asking my landscaper to clean up the yard, he did it for free. We still have pallets they left here and are going to ask our landscaper to remove them. TS Pros are a total disaster. They are rude, untimely, do not communicate well if at all. TS Pros lie about costs and MISREPRESENT JOBS THEY ARE CAPABLE OF DOING. I have hired numerous people from Thumbtack and never had this experience before. Please don't hire them and suffer with a job poorly completed. I feel TS Pros are incompetent, in reliable and dishonest. Find someone else.
