We went back and forth about price, then he told me he would match price if I show him the quote. Maybe he should have spoke up 2 days ago,and said that. He might have got the job. Not now!!! So you see the response, but what he's not telling you is,he had a job in Huntley yesterday, when he reached out telling me he could " fit me in ". That's when, if he wanted the business he should have said, hey I will match your current quote.. But instead he tried to justify his estimate," stating " that's a lot of house you got". He even showed up at my home, unannounced,to "look it over" That in itself bothers me. NO Notification, other than a general comment, " I could stop by and take a look". Then he dropped his quote down when I asked for a revised number. The majority of the house doesn't need power washing, it's only the North side that shows the need,and that isn't that bad. They even "fixed" rooms, areas, which we attempted to paint and couldn't get the clean lines. Jeff and his team ensured the lines were clean. Jeff will also make color recommendations which really helped us ensure we were on track. We had many very positive and unsolicited remarks from both guests and people interested in our home about both the quality of the painting and the colors. In addition Jeff's crew refurbished our deck using the Behr product "Deck Over". They cleaned the deck, replaced boards, sunk poles in concrete which needed to be replaced for the stairs and it not only looks brand new but is super sturdy. Thought it was benign to ask, didn't think it would lead to being cancelled by the company. Somewhat of a red flag when the owner refuses to do the work.
