The owner responded to my request for a quote immediately, came out to my house, and by the…read morefollowing week, I had new 5 inch gutters to match my house with larger 3x4 downspouts and Gutter Glove gutter guards at the lowest of the quotes I had been given over the past month. He was responsive to my concerns re my previous gutters (mismatched colors, undersized downspouts, clogging, leaking, and continual upkeep). The owner saw that I needed a solution to an area where there was only one downspout for two levels of my roof, and added another downspout (one for upper; one for lower) and routed one downspout in another direction, per my request not to flood out my lower lying neighbor as previous). He was responsive to helping me attach loose pieces of vinyl on my siding and he had his crew even caulking and painting some trim for no extra charge to make sure my house is waterproof. When they came out to install everything, there were 8 men in the crew and the owner, and they were in and out, in 3 hours, with zero mess left behind. They even took a magnetic roller over my yard to make sure no loose nails were left. His crew made sure everything I wanted had been completed before leaving. They even did extras that I had never seen before like adding aluminium guards in particular areas like around the chimney to make sure the water is directed off the house. All in all, I'm very impressed! They definitely go above and beyond and there was no bill, until every last thing was done, and the owner returned and reinspected the job. When I gave the owner the payment, he went over each part of the gutter system to explain how it works and put in writing a workmanship guarantee of one year, and 20 years for parts. He told me to call if I wanted anything changed, since I had made a change to his original plan in one area. He was very flexible about telling me, if I wanted it to his original specs, just call and they'd change it. I'm excited about how beautiful my new functional gutters look on my home!! However, when contacted the second time, I was informed that sanding would need to be done and the sanding could wait until the next treatment. Thus, I hired them again to perform the same task that they did the first time. However, within 12 months, a lot of the stain had lifted and was simply not holding. When contacted I was informed that some of this is natural, which I can accept to a degree. They volunteered to return and to do some touch up but indicated that they could not guarantee that it would not happen again. When asked, "what would be needed to do everything correctly?" I was informed that a major sanding needed to occur and to redo the project would cost an additional $1500. Given that I had already paid $900 the first time, this would've brought the total cost to $2400. Had they simply told me that a sanding was needed during our initial conversation, I would've gone ahead and simply hired them at a $1500 rate. In the end, their recommendation that it did not need serious sanding was incorrect. While this company may be adequate for a basic job, it is important that the consumer acquire a well informed and accurate assessment of the condition of their deck before moving ahead. Otherwise, frustration will occur.

I can happily say that our new roof (and more) has done exceptionally well. We contracted Euclid Roofing and Siding back in September of 2023. They had a large number of jobs of ahead of us so it took them a little bit to get out to our house. This was not an issue really, we expected this and had planned for it. While speaking with them and discussing other jobs we needed done we went all in. Roof, new insulation, siding, windows, and new rain gutters with leaf guards. We were not persuaded to do all of this, these were jobs we already needed done. Euclid merely provided us the best price and ease to get it all done in one easy sweep. Everything came together fantastically. We have noticed cheaper heating and cooling bills (due to new roof and siding) and the house is much more comfortable. We have even been setting our thermostat lower in the winter because the house holds on to the heat much better. My only regret is that we didn't do all of this much sooner. Our new siding is a vast improvement over the old and really made our place look much nicer. Euclid was friendly, efficient, and did a great job. They worked around my wife's extensive garden, and not a single plant was harmed. Highly recommended.
