I've been to Bubbles salons before, but this was my first time at this location. I booked my appointment with Elaine because I was impressed by the work of hers that I saw on the salon's Facebook page and the positive reviews here. What an amazing stylist! From greeting to consult to color to cut and blow out, Elaine was amazing, and I'll absolutely be coming back. Her consult was precise and professional. She asked all the right questions and had me clarify exactly what I wanted when a color or style could have gone two different ways, pointing out the differences in the pictures I showed her. She was really efficient, but at the same time, she applied the color (highlights and lowlights) in a more careful and thorough way than what I've experienced elsewhere before, which I noticed and appreciated. She got the foils super close and tight to the scalp and did a great job of correcting the messy color I walked in the door with. She then followed up with great cut (angled bob) and style, too. She double-checked how much I wanted to take off before she started cutting, which I really appreciated. I'm so happy to have found such a talented stylist and can't wait to go back again. read more

I absolutely love this salon. I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. My stylist is Tasha and she is truly incredible. I have slight anxiety about getting cuts/trims and she always makes me feel so comfortable. Showing me before she cuts and recommending different color options or new styles. She does both my sisters hair and all 5 of my nieces and nephews!! Mason is 3 and usually hates hair cuts, but Tasha is so wonderful with him he asks when he gets to go back! She is so flexible with my busy schedule and when she cannot fit me in she gets me in with the other two amazing ladies in "the circle". Sami and Lindsey always make it so much fun being at the salon. I have had Lindsey give me emergency trims before and Sami has done my hair for gala events and weddings. I normally go to Hair Cuttery just because it's cheap. But that has always been hit-or-miss for me. I went to Bubbles today for the 1st time and loved it! You definitely get what you pay for. The most important thing was that I didn't feel rushed. I found the perfect stylist in Nikki! I have never been happier with a cut, color, style or stylist! I Love that she listened to what I was looking for and also had really good suggestions specific to my hair. Nikki is super nice and easy to talk to, and fast. I also Noticed that she was American board certified colorist, which put me at ease knowing she knew color. I also got lucky that I just walked in and was taken immediately. I am so happy with the result; it looks fuller, richer and healthier, and right on target with what I was hoping for. My husband decided to surprise me with a hair appointment for an early Mother's Day present. We found Bubbles for Hair after my normal place couldn't get me in. I already knew what I wanted and had a picture to help me explain it. I am NOT exaggerating when I say that Mimi is the first stylist in my entire life to execute exactly what I asked for! Others have done great work but it's never been EXACTLY what I wanted before. Mimi is great! She's friendly and personable with a nice conversation balance. We chatted on and off and felt no pressure to keep the conversation going the entire time like I've experienced with other stylists. I had appointment today at 4:45pm for a dry hair cut, but the experience was disappointing. The employees seemed unhappy and unprofessional, making me feel unwelcome. As a paying client, I expected better service and a more pleasant atmosphere. It's unfortunate that some women make others feel insecure. I'm extremely disappointed with today salon visit. After overcoming some health challenges, I was looking forward to pampering myself, but the ladies at the salon made it a terrible experience. They seemed unwilling to provide good service, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I found the behavior of the two ladies to be particularly mean and unprofessional. read more

I have been going to this Bubbles Salon for over 2 years and always schedule my appointments with Rachael. I quit going to the place I was previously getting my hair done because 7 out of 10 times they either had to cancel my scheduled appointment or change the time. Never has this happened with Rachael at Bubbles. She is always on time and gives great hair color and cuts. She actually listens to what you want done to your hair! After the receptionist recommended Troy, I booked an appointment with him. The previous day, I attempted to trim my hair at home. When I showed him a photo of the style that I wanted. Troy patiently explained that he would need to modify the style a bit due to my imperfect attempt at cutting my own hair. He gave me a great haircut. then told me how long I would need to wait for the next cut in order to achieve the style in the photo. A few weeks later, I didn't have time to blowdry my hair and it fell into place, and still looked great-to me the mark of a truly good haircut. read more

I've been battling dry and damaged hair for years. Went to Racheal at Bubbles in Crofton. She knew exactly what my issue was and how to fix it. She made some suggestions but was NOT pushy at all about buying products, which I appreciate. She's very knowledgable and friendly. I left with a great cut and a feeling that her promise that we would have my problem fixed within a year would be fulfilled. I've been coming here for about a year, and I see Samantha every time. She's patient and listens to what I'd like to do and gives great feedback. I've been getting fashion colors in my hair and she's been awesome with application and suggestions when I'm at a loss at what to do next. I will always come back to her. Got an appointment with Racheal nearly four years ago based on a recommendation from a neighbor and I've never been happier! She translates my request and makes the reality even better. We've "been together" for so long now that most of the time I just tell her to do what she wants. She never disappoints! The salon is always bustling and lively. Absolutely WONDERFUL. I love the shop and it's open vibe it gives as you walk in. I have had the same stylist for years now. Mickey or Michelle is what she goes by. She always knows exactly what I want and if I bring a picture SHE NAILS IT. I am not the easiest client. I probably change my mind on my hair every month. But she's right there to support me! Incredible business. My hair stylist is Marlene. She has been working on my hair now for over 6 years. She can do it all. The store is clean and decorated nicely, the front desk staff are always extremely professional and happy. I have my niece saying that Marlene has a customer for life too.
