Especially if they do not like to be groomed and that's most dogs. Dogs need discipline and proper repercussion just like people. Dogs do jump around, bite and scratch... even the most well-behaved ones do it. I have a $30,000 ADA working dog, and she is the worst to get groomed but a gem in every other situation handed to her (as she has been trained to be). But Sue prevails and is so helpful. Sue allows me be right there with my dog and help her with the grooming and comfort of my dog. As stated above, ignore the one star reviews Sue is an amazing and knowledgeable lady in the dog grooming and care department.

Upon picking up my dog, I immediately noticed she was shaved completely.... obviously FAR from what I had asked for and I mentioned that I was not happy to which I was immediately dismissed and told "she was matted so we shaved her". My dog was not matted, never has been as I wash and brush her once a week... even then, shaving her was never discussed. When I started to talk to a manager I was immediately asked "was she matted" rather than a slight concern. Did not try to comfort her (as every other groomer has ever done before). When I picked my dog up she was shaking and clearly terrified! She cowered for the rest of the day. Other groomers normally give 2-3 hours for grooming. I got a call back for pickup less than an hour from drop off. And I am pretty sure that it was due to them being very aggressive with her. Again, I've never seen her this terrified. I even offered to pay extra for her to take her time. The cut was actually pretty nice but this was, by far, the most unwelcoming grooming experience I have ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if they get closed down for abusing the pets after drop off.
