We have two dogs, a chipoodle and a chiweenie. During the time we had Shalini checking on our…read morebabies, she sent photos, texts and videos so we knew what our fluffs were up to. She even voluntarily checked on our bearded dragon & beta fish for us and left the TV on Animal Planet for our pups. Our chiweenie, CoCo, had a very traumatic upbringing until she was rescued. She had severe social anxiety and could sometimes be aggressive. One thing I did notice, and this is why I'm writing this review, is that upon our arrival back home and over the next couple of weeks we saw significant change in CoCo's behavior. She was much more receptive to new faces and even warmer with us than she had ever been. Idk what Shalini did or maybe CoCo just realized that not all strangers are bad and some are friends, but it completely changed our outlook on what our life could be like with CoCo added to our family. We continue to recommend Shalini to friends and family and we now have a cat added to our family and will need her services again here soon. Thank you Shalini!! You truly are a saint to these animals.

I have had quite a few bad issues with Purr furred. On two VERY seperate occasions they failed to…read morecare for our animals the way they promised. This has happened to me at my house, and to my parents at their house. We both had agreements with Purr Furred about how and when to care for our pets. The first issue we discovered, was when they showed up FOUR HOURS LATE to walk and feed both of my parents' dogs, and to medicate one of their dogs with a VERY important medication that HAD to be given at very specific times every day. I actually had to call and dismiss her and take over care for their dogs until they returned. I didn't really have the time to deal with it, which is why my parents had lined Purr Furred up in the first place, but I couldn't risk their dog getting more sick due to missing her meds. The other bad experiance I had with Purr Furred was when I had to leave in a hurry for 4 days. I had called and set up with them to care for my animals (3 dogs and 1 cat) twice daily, and had also asked if they would mind picking up a bag of cat food for my cat that was completely out of food, which they agreed to do. Well, my husband came home 2 days earlier than expected (after I had been gone for 2 days at this point). When he walked in our house he found urine ALL OVER our house, their water dish dish bone dry, my cat had no food and his litter box had not been cleaned! Before I knew all this though, I had called Purr Furred to tell them they were no longer needed since my husband was home. Well, they showed up at our door with a bag of cat food an hour after I had called them and gave it to my husband! So my cat had NO food for 2 days!! Honestly, the only positive thing I have to say about this company is that they KNOW they really messed up and never sent me a bill.

After years of shuttling our dogs to our parents every time we want to travel, my husband and I finally decided that it's time to find a local dog and house sitter. I reached out to Dusty through Yelp and received a very prompt response for availability and to set up a meet and greet. She also provided thorough background checks, proof of insurance, and references (who gave excellent reviews). Her care and thoroughness is very evident. We connected right away during the meet and greet, and my husband and I both felt like we could trust her with our dogs and our home. I provided an extensive list of notes, and she followed them to a T. During our weekend trip, Dusty checked in frequently with updates and photos. I never had to wonder if the dogs were doing okay. Not only did Dusty really care about our dogs' well-being, she also cares about our peace of mind and puts in a lot of effort to relieve our anxieties. I was especially anxious about one of our dog's leash reactivity, and Dusty did a fantastic job managing her surroundings during walks and making sure that they were both safe. Upon our return, the house was in great shape. My only "complaint" is that the dogs didn't seem to miss us at all since they were so busy having fun with Dusty! I got to know Dusty more, and she's an honest, lovely, and creative soul. We plan on being her clients for many years to come.

He's very spoiled and gets separation anxiety (and me too...) so I wanted the best for him. So, I did my research and came across Maisy's Mutts! We did a meet and greet 3 weeks before I had to leave for the weekend and it went great. I felt SO comfortable leaving Ollie with the family and Manni kept me updated every day with pictures which definitely helped with my separation anxiety (LOL!).
