I can't say enough about this groomer. I have big dogs but they are so scared. she puts them at ease, and they look beautiful.

Jocelyn's Foothill's Grooming

Jocelyn is fantastic! We've been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else. We…read morenoticed Jocelyn's business after driving home one day when my family lived in Auburn. Our dogs were due for a nail trim so we contacted her to learn about the prices. Very affordable! All you have to do is give her a call and she'll tell you the best times to do a quick drop in for nails. I've never used her for grooming purposes because my dogs are smooth dachshunds who do not ever require a haircut. Since my family has moved farther into the mountains, they still make the trek down to Auburn to visit Jocelyn. She is really good with all temperaments of dogs and can help the skittish one or the bold one. One of my dachshunds waltzes into the place like he owns it and is super excited to smell everything. I really like that she lets us hold our dogs while cutting their nails rather than placing them somewhere else. Go to Jocelyn! She's fantastic!

Oof, boy oh boy. When I walked in Jocelyn immediately had an attitude. Not a single smile or…read moregreeting. Just looked my way and looked away with a clearly nasty attitude. She did a questionnaire about my dog and was short and snappy. She didn't try to be nice to my dog in any way and was very cold and off putting. Did not try to comfort her (as every other groomer has ever done before). When I picked my dog up she was shaking and clearly terrified! She cowered for the rest of the day. Other groomers normally give 2-3 hours for grooming. I got a call back for pickup less than an hour from drop off. And I am pretty sure that it was due to them being very aggressive with her. Again, I've never seen her this terrified. I even offered to pay extra for her to take her time. The cut was actually pretty nice but this was, by far, the most unwelcoming grooming experience I have ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if they get closed down for abusing the pets after drop off.

We recently acquired two poodles that require grooming every 4-6 weeks, starting at 12-weeks. I've had our dogs groomed before and had to leave them and come back to pick them up. It was pretty expensive and the dogs were very upset when I picked them up. So, I decided to try At Your Bark and Call. Cheyenne is wonderful with our dogs. Our first poodle, Zoe, adored her from the first groom and there was never a problem. Our second poodle, Frannie, is a more vocal type (it's the Red in her we're told) and frankly, a bit of a whiner. So now, Cheyenne takes both of them together and Zoe watches over Frannie. She is flexible with her schedule and so are we, so it works out really well for us. And she is more reasonable than any other business we have used. Our last rescue used to get so upset at the groomer that my husband had to shave her himself during the summer months, and Cheyenne helped him with her final groom. I would highly recommend Cheyenne. Give her a call or a text and try her yourself! The bad reviews here don't even sound like the same groomer that we use. Her appointments are always approximate because she can't be positive how long a grooming is going to take. She's always given us a heads-up if it's going to be 1/2 hour or more. One time we had to reschedule because she was working on her broken down truck with her dad.

Waited a month for an appointment. Confirmed the appointment…read morethe day before. She never showed up! No call! No text! No email! No manners! Reviews show that this is NOT the first time she's done this.
