Elixir specializes in mushroom coffee and other healthy tonics. And I was able to chat with the owner for a bit about his business and passion behind it. It's clear he is very knowledgeable. He was eager to take me through the menu. And I ended up getting a caffeine-free chai latte, that was perfectly sweet and hit the spot. This spot has blends you can buy and take home. I also like how this business seeks to give people an alternative to bars, when you want to get out, sip on something, but be careful about it. This is definitely worth a visit to learn more.

After an hour - yes - tarot time! An added perk is its attachment to Eggs Over Frankfort. The staff in the cafe, who was very sweet and helpful, let me know I can order food from them and still enjoy their cafe! I will definitely be back for a drink with Crescent Hill, then a meal from next door. I absolutely love the openness of working together, both uplifting each other, and therefore uplifting the community. This is what I love about living in Louisville.

The staff is so lovely and very helpful. But we all know what we are here for, the coffee, and it's top notch. From regular to decaf, from an americano to something more fancy it's literally all so good. Currently their spring menu is my favorite. The spring fling cold foam is delicious and pairs well with all the iced drinks. There is a stigma with local coffee not being as good or consistent compared to chains but you won't find that here.
